With my boys I felt queasy, especially my third. This one I have felt almost like motion sickness which is worse in the morning but fairly constant and rearing it's head throughout the day, so bad that I dry heaving. I look like absolute rubbish this pregnancy too. My oh says Ive never been so ill but I'm putting it down to this being my fourth and each one gets harder. My friend was much worse her fourth pregnancy and it was her fourth boy. Some people carry twin girls with no sickness at all (lucky chaps)!
I'm assuming this is a boy. I've accepted it. We are team green so won't find out and kinda dreading seeing a nub as I'll start obsessing.
Mathilde I'm at a very similar gestation to you and starting to feel a tiny bit better so might be placenta kicking in? Remember some girls don't even realise they are pregnant until they are into the second trimester, they have no symptoms at all.
Evening ladies,
Sorry for the lack of personals, but we had a busy weekend and a very busy day today and I am feeling a bit knackered.
We had our NT scan today, should get results on Monday. I only got one pic and that isn't really great. I asked the doctor doing the scan if there were any gender clues yet (trying to see if she knew about the nub theory or maybe have a sneaky peak in the appropriate area), but she just told me very matter of fact that there is no way of telling until 20 weeks... ... Yeah, sure.
Anyway, hoping all the pregnant ladies are doing well and all the not-yet pregnant ladies are getting ready for their attempts.
Dreamofpink, is it your scan next on Thursday?
I have gone crazy with the sign thing. I found a four leaf clover on the way home and gave it to my son who said he wished for a baby sister. Then I was watching falling skies (that alien programme) with my dh and they have three boys and the dad was having his fourth kid and I'm shouting at the tv its a sign if they have a girl maybe we'll have a girl and they had a girl. My husband looked at me like I was actually crazy as I fist punched the air! I am officially a loon!
Ps GeCon how exciting on your scan! Must have been lovely seeing bambino x
TTCpink....I hope that this is your bfp cycle!!!! Stalking you...and keeping my fingers crossed!!!
Bunnywabbit....I am learning to sew....I will post pix tomorrow when I finish my next red hat....maybe even show you the two duds that did not turn out! I like to crochet, but boys don't really look good in florally adorned headgear. Maybe I will crochet a little ladybug cacoon like they have on Pinterest if I get my mojo back. How is this cycle treating you?
Gecon...too bad about the nub shot or lack thereof. Still hoping and wishing you see and hear girl the next scan you get!!!
3 boys...how are you holding up? Same with you Charlee??? What shopping have you all done? I need to make sure I treasure this last chance of being preggo, so I am working on ways to make it good!!
I had my u/s yesterday and although there is the option of gender being reported to our health authority, she was only 70% sure. I tried getting her to spill it, but even when I was able to see the screen, this boy would not give gender clues. Plus, he refused to cooperate for some important parts of the scan, so I am betting I will be back and getting a tiny chance to see him again. It gave me a few moments of girly hope seeing no gender clues on scan...but the 3d of last week leaves me no doubt.
I will try to be better at personals on my day off!! Have a lovely evening all!!
Niva - I wouldn't worry about nausea and gender. I had different levels of nausea with all 3 of my boys! Like Tree, with DS3, I had no sickness at all and had the highest initial hcg with him!
Happypixi - At least you're going back on forth on gender! I am dead set on a girl! No, actually, sometimes I think it would be perfect to have another boy, so that ds3 will have a "buddy" just like ds1 & ds2 have each other. BUT, I will be so sad to NOT have a daughter, if this is a boy. I do trust God's plan, though!
Tree - I had the highest initial hcg with ds3, and the least nausea with him, too. This time, I had the 3rd highest hcg of the bunch, but it went up the fastest...not quite so lucky on the nausea front this time, although it's not terrible, thank goodness!
Waiting - Totally get just assuming it's a boy...less disappointment that way! But you're not out of the running yet!! I am always looking for signs, too...for me, it's rainbows. :)
GeCon - Yay for a look at your sweet LO! Praying for good results!
Ladybugs - Looking forward to seeing your pics!
AFM - A little more energy the last couple days...so yay!
Rainbow girl, sometimes I think I'd like to think someone has a plan! Hahaha :) Sadly I believe it's all science and luck... or lack of it!
Daisy, I'm the same - except I keep seeing twins everywhere!! I have this niggly feeling, but I think it's desire more than foresight ;D
Emily, how are you? Are you already in Vietnam? What is the plan regarding moving into a house etc?
Dreamofpink, what time can you update us tomorrow? We will all be stalking impatiently...
