DS3's birthday party was yesterday, so I didn't get on here at all. Cramps seemed to be less than Friday. (Friday cramps were pretty bad!) I woke up with some cold symptoms on Saturday -- runny/stuffy nose. I slept off an on for about 14 hours last night, which is not normal for me. I'm lucky if I sleep about half that any other day! I don't really have any cramps this morning, but I still have runny/stuffy nose and I'm also feeling a bit constipated. I read that can be a side effect of Zyrtec, and I've taken it 3 times now (Friday, Saturday, and now on Sunday). I think I'll take it once more tomorrow and then be done with it. I'm also going to use a little RepHresh tomorrow just to be on the safe side. I'm not hard-core dieting, because it's just too hard... but I am trying to not eat with my regular habits. Other than that, I'm just hanging out and hoping January goes by quickly!!
How have you been? You feeling better about your attempt?
Ooh, pink!! I forgot to mention one thing that I noticed yesterday... I don't remember the time exactly, but at one point I noticed a bit of cramping (not bad) specifically toward the left and not in the middle. Does that make sense? Like, it was coming from one ovary rather than both? I don't even know if I am making sense, but I swear that's what I felt!
I know how you feel, but before you know it we will have the TTC february thread and chatting waiting to O! I downloaded an app on my phone that has a countdown! I'm trying to think of it like I'm not waiting...taking my supps, diet etc IS doing something (and not just waiting) to be prepared for February! KWIM?
Katie hun ive noticed that nearly every time i ovulated that i get a pain on the one side, think it just means that thats the side you ovulated on this cycle, was it at O or after O that you felt it ?
It actually DOES NOT mean that you ovulated from that side. Your ovaries develop 15-20 eggs in each ovary per month and only the biggest one or two get released. Both ovaries are very large and swollen at ovulation and can be very painful. There is no way of knowing from O pain when you ovulated or from what ovary it was from.
If Zanacal sees this, she may chime in but if not, she had O pain on her right side when she conceived and then later ultrasounds showed she had actually Oed on her left side!
I had just never noticed before and figured it was worth mentioning. I knew someone would be able to chime in and tell me something. I got my positive OPK on Friday and that is when I had the strongest cramps. Can you get a positive same day that you O? The day before (Thursday) I had three negatives, but I have not tested since Friday
It's ok, I realised I'm a complete idiot anyway. When I went to upload some pictures of my Detect5 test (which I'm now convinced actually do have a line at 2000miu), I saw my original BFP pics and I noticed that my original CBdigi said '1-2 weeks pregnant', so my test DID show a progression when it said '2-3 weeks pregnant'. Duh!
Anyway, I'm feeling a lot better about the whole thing today. Here's a pic of the 'Detect5' test, by the way - am I crazy that I see a line at 2000miu? Yes, it could be an evap, but in real life you can definitely see pink colour in the line.

Katie~ i tracked O for months with temp, regular and digital OPKs, and the OVacue II. I always seemed to O 2 days after a +opk. The month I actually had an attempt FF and the Ovacue II showed I O'd the same day. To be honest, I don't think we can ever really know the exact day even with all the advances. Don't think it matters anyway, because timing does not sway. As long as you were close enough to catch the egg to get a BFP is all that matters!
