Unlike many of you I am not feeling clucky. I don't want to be pregnant at all. It scares me. I just want to have one more baby and I want to get it done and over with and move on. I wish I could get to step b without step a, haha.

Pregnancy is tough for me too, Rosie. Hopefully #3 will be the charm!
the actual pregnancy for me isn't terrible I just get extremely nervous and scared that there will be something wrong with the baby or that I will have a stillborn. All natural worries but I have like an actual severe anxiety over it. It's terrible.
Oh Rosie that sucks, I hope it's not endo.
Hotdogs, lol I completely understand! I told dh I have some pills (OLE) for his allergies, he snores so bad this time of year, hopefully he will take them! The fiber is chitosan
I am looking forward to pregnancy only because this will be the first planned baby and I won't feel so bad about talking about it out loud instead of wondering what others think. I'll get to enjoy it! Maybe that'll make the pain easier to endure. But , pregnancy itself is horrible, pain and sickness is the worse!!!
Aw I'm sorry about that. I've experienced that too before the first u/s, before I feel movement.
My pregnancies have been painful. My 2nd son was over 9lbs so I'm expecting this next one to be big too, boy or girl.
Hi ladies. ..though I don't post much, I do follow this thread in daily basis and hope u all don't mind me chiming in.
Just coming back from a week long vacay where we totally pigged out though only vegetarian food. Feel super bad right now coz my attempt is in 4 wks amd I was doing preety well prior to vacay. Hope I can shed more pounds and soooon.

Poor Rosie you are getting a tough time lately I bet the next pregnancy will be a breeze for you, fingers crossed it will be. I absolutely love being pregnant. Would do it every year if I could. Odd I wouldn't worry one bit about cheats If they were vegetarian that's even better At least you've four more weeks to behave! It's St Patrick's Day here in Ireland so we all went out to eat Made sure it was vegetarian but wouldn't even start to count cals!!! :(

Forgot to add, Abifasc my second ds was 9lbs but my third ds was 6lbs 13 so you might not get a bigger one next time!

Oh wow 9lbs! Ds1 was 6lb15oz ds2 was 7lb2oz
Odd don't feel bad, I'm sure that was better than a giant cheeseburger lol. Hope you had fun on vacation!
Awww, Rosie, that sounds terrible :( Have you spoken to your Dr about it? Hopefully it isn't endo. I think it's natural to be at least a little anxious when pregnant. I remember with one of my pregnancies, I didn't go to the doctor about it till I was about 3-4 months along. I had a mc between baby #1 and baby #2 and due to my Mum having so many mc's before she carried me to term, I was terrified of losing that baby as well. Huge *hugs*.
Hello abifasc :)
Hello odd, I hope you had a nice holiday :)
daisymoo, Happy St Patricks day to you. Ours was yesterday :D
My first bubs were both around 5lb 5oz. Mind you they were both born around the 36 week mark. Bub #3 was my biggest at 8lb 2oz and my youngest was 6lb 2oz. I am nervous about the birth though. Miss 3 was 2 days late but, in a hurry to get here once labour started. Got to the labour ward 10pm, she arrived 10:19pm. I think next time around, I will have to go to hospital as soon as contractions start.
@Boysway... wow you beat my time lol. I did the same thing! Got to the hospital around 5:21 (that's walking in the door on the main floor) by the time I got up to the room, and everyone came in I had started pushing. DS2 was born at 6:12. I didn't even get my shirt off. I feel the same way that you do about the next time.
hi can i join you girls? I'm a mum of 2 boys ds1 is 6 and ds2 is 4. Trying to conceive number 3 girl in april 2014. Doing the in gender diet although not going so well have been doing supplements and temping also. it seems the less i'm supposed to eat the more i want to and do eat don't think i've lost any weight so far i'm 5 foot 8 and weigh 10 stone is that bad?
Sure Lya! We love new people. And it's not about where you start. So, no, your weight is not "bad." We have people starting at all different weights and heights. It's more about the change you put your body through. So, if you can manage, take off a little bit of weight through limiting nutrients (calories, fat, and protien) and THAT is what sways pink. Don't be crazy obsessed with it, just kinda keep track of what you are eating, how much and when, and aim to eat a tad less (not less than 1500 cals though) and don't snack as much. I'm not sure what 10 stone is, but I'm sure just 5-8lbs lost would make a big difference (in terms of swaying). I am 5'10" and starting at 160-165lbs and will aim to lose about 10 when we sway. I will be fine losing 10lbs, it's within my healthy weight range. So if 5lbs is feasible, aim to lose that over the next few weeks :) Or whenever you aim to sway.
My bubs aren't small critters, but they aren't really big either because they are generally born early. I have had all of them before 38 weeks (36+6, 37+2, 37+6). They were 6.10, 8.4, and 7even. I'll expect the next to be similar in size and gestation. Although anything could happen! Me and my one brother were mid-9s and my other brother was almost 11!! I am one of those ladies who is crazy envious of short-laboring ladies. I have LONG labors, even with it being pitocin augmented (twice). Never less than 9 hours, longest was...wait for it...61 hours!! No pain meds. Bah...next time I want an epi ;) (I say that everytime). But seriously, is it too much to ask to have one that is like 6 hours or something?? They are events for me. My body doesn't want to give it up easily. Lol.
I hadn't heard anyone swaying with clomid so I thought I would ask and see if I was the only one. I have been lurking the sight for a little while now and reading as much as I can on swaying pink. There was a handful of ladies that did sway with clomid that I have been following and have been wonderful in answering any questions I might of had. Here is the clomid link. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...91-clomid.html and here is the other one http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...-part-2-a.html
Welcome lya!
Hotdogz, you and I are similar in size. I am 6ft even and weight 170lbs, I am only looking to lose about 10lbs.
o18e, I am not taking clomid, I don't know who is either sorry.
New here, too. :-)
Mom of two girls and an angel baby, ready for our boy !! We'll officially ttc I think in May if I can last that long. lol I get excited reading all of this info.
I keep saying I want a smaller baby but each baby gets bigger. haha ! Our last was 9 lbs 1/2 and almost 22 inches by 40 weeks. I'm only 4'11 . No health issues at all. The next will be a 3rd section...they might not let me get to 40 weeks next time since I'm not aiming for a vbac.
I have to ask- What does Dr. Potter believe about swaying? Does he believe it is effective?
Welcome Fiorefleur! We are in the same boat. I had a great sway in December and lost the baby around 10 weeks- so I need some refreshing! We will be TTC in late April or early May, my 3rd cycle post MC (just to avoid the holidays!) (2 DDS)
o18e- I have read that clomid sways pink- so that is good for you!
Can I run this by you all-esp swaying experts? I gained 8 pounds on the HE diet through food and muscle gain. I have lost 1-2 pounds during the pregnancy and since this miscarriage. I am unsure about how much or if I still need to gain weight. I imagine after eating the same foods ill probably gain a few, but I can't imagine another 8 more (AND I DON"T WANT TO GAIN THAT MUCH!)
So, I was 127 before (and underweight), HE diet to 135, and now around 133/134. I also was on vacay so eight a lot, so some of that was maintained by eating high cals on vacay.
Does the December weight gain count towards my HE gain?
Sorry if that wasn't clear.
Nov-Dec- on HE diet 127-->135. M/C in Feb. Still around 133. I am not unhappy with the weight I am at now, but I do not want to put on much more!
Hi spicy, sorry I'm not really an expert on swaying but I do have three boys and when I conceived them I wasn't putting on any weight I was just eating really healthy foods with lots of healthy fats and very high protein with zero carbs. Worked for blue for me three times!! I certainly wasn't losing any weight but wasn't gaining either. Having said that I was walking everywhere so maybe that kept weight off. I think once you're eating foods from HE diet you should be fine and not worry about weight gain too much. As I said I'm not an expert but hope that helps a bit.

I'm also not an expert on He diet, but I have a DS and was not gaining weight at the time. Like daisy I was just eating a lot of natural nutritious foods (probably 2500 cals per day?). No refined carbs, tons of protein, lots of veggies.

Hi girls. ..I am soo mad and need to vent..
I was counting on getting back to exercising in full swing after coming back from vacation and pigging out..BUT
I slipped and fell off the entire staircase yesterday. Twisted my ankle and bruised my bum and back :-(
I am beuond pissed. This means I may have to push back my attempt as I refuse to not give it my all for at least 4 weeks before our attempt

Welcome Fiorefleur!
Spicy I am just like the other two ladies, I wasn't gaining weight but I was eating a lot of everything, especially cereal.
Oh no odd I am so sorry to hear that!! I hope that you feel better soon. I don't blame you at all I would be pissed too and do the same thing.
OH no ODD! My DH has a bulging disk right now and it's been hard to manage his pain with life. I hope you get relief soon.
Thanks for your feedback girls. I think I will just carry on with the diet- yesterday I was at 100g protein and 2300 cals without trying to desperately. I would say, I am normally at least in the 1900 range. It is probably all the extra drinks- juice, whole milk, etc that push me up in to the 2000s. I started running now that spring is here, so hopefully that will the added muscle/weight training will build muscle weight and not fat.
Odd you poor thing hope you're feeling better and back on your feet soon. Enjoy the rest if you can!!

By the way are any of the pink swayers going to dtd every four days or just once at positive opk? I'm thinking I might go down the every four days route but not sure which days to pick to start on to try and catch that egg! It means either starting on cd7, 8, 9 or 10. What are you girlies doing?

Eeek, I so may have made an opps baby this month. We've been using condoms waiting for my April cycle..well this month it was 4 days before and well, we we're out, so I thought meh, the probability of pregnancy with one attempt 4 days before O is like null. Then I ovulated a day early, and my temp dropped yesterday at DPO 5 and shot back up today. I know DPO 5 seems early for an implantation dip, but my last pregnancy (miscarriage) was DPO 6, and with all three of my kids I got a positive test DPO 8-9 so I think I'm just an early implanter. Ugh, my sway for April was beauuutiful lol March was just so-so, but hopefully enough if it is a BFP it's a wee lass.
^^Ruh roh ;) If you were already swaying, I wouldn't worry about an oops. It was a one-attemper and I'm sure things were headed into pink territory anyway. But it does sound like a little bundle is on the way (I implant early too).
And Im so sorry Odd. :( What a bummer. Hopefully you heal quickly and can get right back in after another month.
And Spicy, I agree with the other ladies. I think eating HE might be good, even if you aren't gaining any weight. One of my sons I was actively gaining. And one I was maintaining, but eating a rather HE friendly diet. So I don't think it's absolutely necessary to gain to get a son. Just suggested. Maybe try for just 1-2lbs and leave it at that. If your are only eating 2300 or so, it could take a month to gain that little bit of weight.
I am sorry to hear about your tumble odd. I hope you heal fast. I would be pretty pissed too. Daisymoo Since I am using clomid I will be dtd more than every 4 days because is it important not to be on clomid for too long. unwirklich Some of a sway is better than nothing. :) It must be meant to be. I am totally slacking on low meat. I am a stress eater and it has really been tough to stick to it now my MIL is here helping with my BIL kiddos. Meals are together most of the time. My sister is having her baby this weekend so come Monday I need to hop back on that pink diet wagon.
Oh my god hotdogz!!!! I just read that you had a labour of 61 hours! Wow Bet you were glad when that was over! The things we do to have kids ha!! My first labour was 12 hours and I thought that was long! Here's hoping your next labour is an in the door and ready to go kind of one!!

Unwirklich, if you get your bfp this month you have a great chance of it being pink with just one attempt. Fingers crossed for you girl!

Am I the only pink swayer who is struggling to come up with dinners that are family friendly? My husband eats tons and tons of meat (I normally do too!), and I typically cook things like casseroles with ground beef in them. I'm starting the diet June 1 and I still have no idea how I'm going to deal with cooking 2 dinners every day! My DS is a toddler so he doesn't eat much. So basically sounds like I'll be cooking 2 dinners for 2 people nightly. Any creative ideas ladies?

Oops meant starting April 1st on diet.

Yeah, I still feel semi confident in it, I've been on the LE diet since Jan. and lost 10 lbs, plus vitex and SP since Dec, I just didn't do any of the EWCM reducing stuff like benydrl and next cycle I was starting clomid. I'll still be thrilled if I am pregnant, seems it always is easier when you aren't trying lol Took us 8 months with DS 3 and 11 with my miscarriage.
On the diet point, I'd die without diary and beef, I think I'm just too Norse to be vegetarian, so what I do is stay vegetarian during the day, limiting protein as much as I can. (I eat a lot of salads lol) then at dinner I eat what ever the family is and have a smaller portion. It's a win-win because my DH and kids don't have to suffer a diet that they really don't need and I still get my beef and cheese. I've consistently stayed under 35-40 g of protein that way with just a few overages. I don't think it's ideal as far as swaying, but more livable for me. I think I'd cheat way more if I tried to go hardcore style.
unwirklich, that sounds like a promising sway anyway. Have my pink dust ;)
odd, ow that sounds painful. I hope your fall doesn't cause lasting damage.
SpicyTuna, I have also put weight on with the diet. I am pretty sure it is due to the juice I have been drinking. Mind you, I put weight on after May last year when I had a new Mirena put in. I think the Mirena put weight on me and because I started the diet before the Mirena was taken out I didn't have the opportunity to lose the weight.
daisymoo, It's obviously up to you and what is recommended but, I know the cycle I fell pregnant with Miss 8, we DTD once in the afternoon, that night I got my +OPK I remember coming out of the bathroom and telling my partner we would have a girl, lol. With Miss almost 4, we dtd in the morning of the +OPK and the morning after.
Thanks girls think I'll start dtd on cd6 and go every four days from that.
Bluebonnet, I always end up cooking twice a day (Irish mammy!) I do a dinner for my boys and dh and then do a separate meal for myself later on, either pasta with w watchers sauce or salad on petit pain rolls.
Getting used to it now though but dying to get back to eating big dinners with the rest of the family! It's kinda hard cooking a full roast chicken dinner and then not eating any of it! Hopefully I get my bfp in the first few months and can get back to normal diet soon. :)

bluebonnet Easy Recipes & Easy Cooking Ideas from Pillsbury.com has great family recipes, they have the nutritional info as well, which makes it even easier when picking out meals because I choose meals that are within my limits for dinner. my DH is a huge meat eater as well, but he can't eat what we don't have a ton of in the house, which is meat.
