Burakoam, I do think that is a (boy) nub, I think it's too low down to be a cord. But don't buy blue just yet ;)

Very boyish Burakoam!
XX- so glad to hear an update! Hoping you get answers on Wednesday:) 2 strong heartbeats would make since! Praying all the spotting stops and it nothing but early pregnancy craziness!!
Welcome Burakoam! Wish I felt confident to guess on your nub:-/ I am thinking what we are seeing is part of the leg. But you got a way better view when seeing the actually ultrasound;). Hope it is your boy!!

Xx- so glad things are ok:). Can't wait for your post on Wednesday after your ultrasound!!!
Burakoam- cute baby!!! I can't make out a nub, but here's sending you my train loving, playin in the dirt & mud, super snuggly baby boy dust!!
Afm- I have days that I can actually function and then days where getting in the shower is an accomplishment! I have my first dr. Appt Monday and they will do another, routine ultrasound. I should be 8w4d then:)

See thats what i was worried about too. Its just so boyish for 11.5 weeks that i came up with all sorts of scenarios to convince myself it couldnt be a nub.. But in my craziness i have to remember seeing that between both legs as she measured baby and would zoom in and out showing legs and arms and then just body... Legs seemed to be straighter out than that.. Like baby was pushing butt up in the air by pressing legs against uterus straight out like a stretch almost. My mom has been right on gender before we knew with both girls and she says she was there too and saw a penis not a nub on this baby and has no doubt i just have an over achiever for a son LOL. She says im in denial..
3 weeks of driving myself crazy to go... Gender ultrasound is april 25th..
XX - I had bleeding like that 3 times during my previous pregnancy, I found out the placenta was low-lying, but it wasn't a serious situation and the bleeding stopped on its own. The result of that pregnancy is now 2 years old! :diaper:
I'm Crossing fingers for Wednesday!
:fx:
Thanks ladies! It has stopped now. It was only one full day of very light spotting. It worried me because it was red but then I had two days of brown discharge. I never needed a pad or anything and it was only when I would wipe or check internally.
The nausea though is killing me! Nothing helps and it stays all day! Drinking water is somewhat helping. Ive never been so happy to feel so bad [emoji4]!
How is everyone else feeling?

XX have you tried Lemon water? that may help even more than just regular water. Some of my best relief (even if it was only temporary) early on was taking a lemon and squeezing it into a bottle of water and going to town. I dont know why it worked, but it definitely helped. dont feel as icky today myself thankfully..i keep telling my husband its crazy i even still have days where im sick at this point..blah
Well, I'm still feeling bad and I'm almost 16 weeks, but it's slowly getting better. This pregnancy has been hell so far and the entire family is falling apart at the seams. My DH has almost been like a single dad, as I've hardly been able to do anything other than going to work and collapsing afterwards. On my days off I've just been in bed or on the couch, feeling so sick, not being able to do housework or anything. I'm so glad it's slowly getting better now. So anyone experiencing nausea and exhaustion, you have my undivided sympathy!
Claire- have you ever tried taking unisom and B6? It helps;) I take it before bed. I was super nervous taking it at first, but it is said to be safe. A lot of ladies have used it from this site!

I feel so bad for all you ladies when I'm enjoying such an easy pregnancy! Other than basically becoming narcoleptic after 9pm, I have had only two or three days of nausea. I'm still exercising several days a week, and I generally feel pretty good! My sympathies to all of you!
Thanks QueenB! Unisom is an antihistamine that is also used for traveling sickness, so it stops nausea. The problem with this is that is knocks me out so completely, so then I am not able to do anything apart from sleep! I have not tried B6, but I do take a multi B-vitamine. Luckily the worst is over, but it was hell :(
I ate a medium rare steak last night...bad idea. Even though it tasted amazing going down, it was pretty traumatizing puking it back up...bloodier coming up than going down and that seemed to open a 'dam wall' of sorts because then i puked again this morning..but i hadnt eaten yet so just stomach acid and no blood which tells me that it was definitely the steak i saw coming up last night. Yuck.
I know its an old wives tale but did anyone have a pregnancy with a boy where they were sick a majority of the pregnancy or sick the whole time even? Whats throwing me off is i know every pregnancy is different but even though morning sickness is more prevelant in girl pregnancies per the old wives tale, i was done being sick by this time with both my previous girls and pregnancies...continuing to grasp at straws that the continued sickness means boy...
On a side note baby didnt let me leave the store today without a store bought/made cake, chinese, and chocolate ice cream. Weirdest combination of cravings ever, lol.
I was sick through 28 weeks with ds 2 but it stopped at 11 weeks with ds1 and 13 weeks at ds3. I am 14 weeks now and still sick. I have plenty of friends who had girls who were sick until well past 13 weeks. I don't think it means anything at all. Sorry about the pukies Bura..sounds so awful!! Hope it quits soon.
Burakoam- with my first pregnancy I was so sick I couldn't even get off the couch until like 13/14 weeks. I don't think I felt even ok until 17 weeks. That was ds1;) my second pregnancy was slightly better, but sickness definitely didn't go away when hitting the second trimester. I have 3 boys.
When are you finding out?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
April 25th!! seems like its taking forever lol
DS1 I was sick until 14 weeks and puked a ton with him! One day alone I puked 13 times :/!
DS2 I was nauseous, the dizzy type of nausea, from 6 weeks until 30 weeks! Some days I couldn't function because I was so dizzy and wished I could just throw up!
This pregnancy the nausea set in earlier, no puking yet, and not dizzy- just all day ebb and flow nausea! Nothing sounds good to eat, but I eat!

When i was pregnant with my son i had a great pregnancy. Absolutely no problems other than i could eat chicken a short while.
It was a breeze.
This time i have broken out with acne on my face and cleavage and shoulders and have been have nausea flows since week 5.
No puking but just feeling nausea. I havent been able to take any of my vitamins yet because i feel sick after taking them..
Burakoam how exciting!! Im finding out on the 24th of April!! :-)
My morning sickness is definitely in full swing again. Eating any food at all makes me so ill. Hoping it passes in a week or two. How is everyone else doing? I still cant believe i made it to the 2nd trimester!
Angel- 1 day before me lol...so jealous. The only place that even does gender scans earlier than 20 says they dont let you make an appointment until you are 16 weeks... Something tells me id have a good idea wha this baby is next week but still have to wait 2 more weeks per their protocol :(
Rosie- hope it doesnt last too long for you..
Hey ladies having quick catch up while enjoying the sun in majorca! Can't believe ive made it to 16 weeks! Getting big now! ☺️
How frustrating Burakoam! Will you be 16 weeks then? It looks promising for boy though :) I'm glad I found a place that does gender scans at 13 weeks, I was a complete nervous wreck.
Enjoy your holiday Keepyourfaith!
Smells have been a little less sensitive to me the last week or so. I still take half a unisom tablet and b6 before bed almost every night! I am glad I have found something that is somewhat relieving! But maybe if I hadn't I wouldn't have gained the weight I have gained so far......about 10 lbs! O well. I guess it is not to terrible bad for the first trimester:-/
I am glad I don't have much longer to make an announcement! Most my jeans are pretty tight around my tummy:(
Yay for the second trimester!! Rosie, have you even put on any weight? I figure with getting sicknesses through the whole pregnancy so far you have probably lost weight!!
Enjoy the sun Keepthefaith!
XX- I am excited for your scan tomorrow:)

Nope no weight gain. Lost 10 pounds. I would like to lose 10 more but that won't happen! Baby needs to eat. Haha
Claire-- I will be 16 weeks the 24th. Only reason i dont do it on that day is my daughters really want to be there when we find out and i dont want to pull my oldest out of school...so saturday the 25th it is. This friday marks 2 weeks until scan. I am so counting every day.. 17 days currently.. If my math isnt god awful like it usually is LOL
I copied this from the other due date thread: We saw only one baby! We saw the fetal pole, yolk sac, and the heartbeat! The heartbeat was 137 bpm! I am measuring right on target and my due date is 12/3/15!!
I am so overjoyed! They saw a small, sub chorionic bleed that has resolved and is not an issue. I'm glad to have that mild spotting explained and know everything is ok!
Whew, I can relax and let myself feel I am PREGNANT!!!!
SN- I ovulated from the left ovary- we saw a giant corpus luteum! I ovulated on the right side with both of my boys. Interesting?!
I'm just glad I'm really pregnant!!

It feels great! I can relax a bit- more when the first trimester is over.
I'm still over the moon that I am pregnant!
I hope we all have a smooth 9 months!!

Xx- so happy for you!!
I am pretty sure the NIPT results are in. My midwife called, she left a msg with DH to call her and the lab verified that they were done. I couldn't call her back- I am just too scared to know. I realize now that I just do not want another boy- a third kid is a crazy enough concept and the thought of a third boy literally brings me to my knees. I am so angry at DH for talking me into trying again after the loss- I knew I couldn't handle this. I told him we had to do HT but he somehow convinced me to try one time and lone behold! One attempt and here I am! I am just sick to my stomach.

Hang in there honey! We will be here for you!
FWIW, I think you're having a girl!

2boys-- Have hubby call and put it on speaker, sit on the comfiest piece of furniture you have and take a deep breath before the results. A 3rd son may be hard to accept, trust me im struggling knowing i may be having a 3rd daughter...and knowing nothing about you i may just be guessing here...it would probably be better to know its a boy as soon as you can so you can adjust and find a way to accept and be happy. Even if happiness seems impossible if it is indeed a 3rd son, some small part of you has to know you will find a way to love and bond with that baby no matter what.
I wish you lots of luck and love and hope you hear GIRL..:bighug:
Oh 2boys, I've so been in your shoes! The week where I was waiting for my blood test result was absolute hell, but I just didn't want to know, even though I knew that I had to find out some time. It's like ripping a band aid off, when is the right time, when are you ready? I just didn't want to hear the bad news. And when I finally talked to the dr. on the phone I thought I was going to throw up. The same happened when I had my 13 week scan, I was a nervous wreck and just wanted to throw up for a whole day before the scan. I was so afraid the early blood test had been wrong.
All I can do is give you a hug! :bighug:
Thanks for your support! I am trying to just enjoy my morning at work before I I get the news. I want to be happy and right now ignorance is total bliss! I think that these early gender results are really so controversial. Maybe the surprise at birth would be an easier blow? I don't know what to do. I may just hold off on finding out the gender a few days. I have to work the rest of the week and I don't know how I will keep myself together if I hear boy. [emoji22]
I don't think I slept a wink last night so my emotions are pretty out of control, I even cried on my way to work listening to Ed Sheeran sing about loving his girl til she is seventy. Such a mess!
[emoji178]
Aww 2 boys. Big hugs to you. It is impossible to know when the right time to find out is. One thing is for sure and that is that the sex is set in stone and i think knowing that makes it so difficult to find out early...it wont change even if you want it to so badly. Waiting just prolongs the dream so both ends have their downfalls. When you feel ready is the best time. Just remember no matter the sex...this is your baby...your pride and joy just waiting to cuddled and loved when born and nothing can take the joy out of love in its purest form.
O man 2boys:( I wish I had magic words to make you feel better. Being pregnant is emotional enough! Plus, you have been through a lot the last couple months! I pray that you can find peace in whatever the gender your having.
I would probably not be able to wait. I would just rip it off like a bandaid. It is the anticipation that is the worst!!
Afm- had a midwife appointment today. Got to hear the heartbeat:) 161. But I am bummed because my midwife is pregnant due in late August so won't be able to deliver my baby:( I love her, I hope whoever she refers me to is just as awesome!
They set my due date for October 2. Which is great because I thought they would use the 8th or 9th. I have big babies, every little day makes a difference to me;)
