Uh oh, if you all feel so good = girls then I'm definitely having a boy. This bean is kicking my ass. Literally. My skin is awful, full of awful cystic acne and comedones. My hair is lank and greasy. I'm alternating between psychoticaly grumpy and wanting to cry, not to mention the all freaking day long sickness. I whined to hubby and he was all *smug smile* You wanted this.. yeah. I did. I also want to bite your smug face, can I have that too? :rofl:

He did laugh and (smugly!) asked how I planned to reach his face since I'm barely 5ft tall and he's 6.4! So imma vomit in his shoes later. :cool:

I was okay in whole pregnancy just some time nausea and Got baby girl.
So it depends person to person. You can judge it by your own previous pregnacies eilther its girlish or boysih?
Boy pregnancies I tend to sail through, my girl (and my angel girl) absolutely knocked me about but I'm acutely aware that it could just be my body messing with me. I dream boy too so I'm telling myself it's a boy and preparing for one. That way I shan't be disappointed I think.
Pbn glad your appointment got moved I think I will still be awake. But probably won't see your results until tomorrow morning.
4blue1pink all my pregnancy sickness has varied greatly but I've never before felt this good other than my m/c and it happened on this week gestation and hubby won't be home all week [emoji20]. I'm also preparing to hear boy I won't be surprised at all. Just haven't figured out how I will tell everyone I'm pregnant and it's a boy!

Yes I did with every one of them. It was different with all some I just felt nauseous all the time. One I threw up every morning then I was fine. One I was nauseous all the time and never had any relief. This time. Nothing. Hardly ever

It's mean this is a girl for you. Because I had same like you. I was having no nausea, no sorry Bobs nothing. And I had baby girl. So it's most probably that a girl is on your way.

Ash, I was the same as you and just nauseas throughout both of my boy pregnancies with no relief. So this is foreign. I'm finding I crash at 3pm everyday though and have to sleep. It's a feeling of being uncomfortable more than just nausea.

Yes same here dreamingella I'm done after lunch and love a short 15min nap but here lately I've been so backed up on orders I've had to skip [emoji17]. But it's more just tired feeling than nausea the nausea comes after I get up if ever.

Ash I'm just leaving now for appt. Its 9.45am. Appt is at 10.30. Bbs even less sore this morning, no nausea again and I'm starting to not feel pregnant anymore. Going to ask for 48 hours bloods again and I'll get my referral for ob and 7 week scan just in case things turn out ok. I'll update this afternoon if I get results and I'll be able to use a beta calculater from my last results to these to see if things are on track or going downhill.

Wow! I feel like I've just spent the last hour or so in the 'Twilight Zone'....
Not sure if anyone remembers but my usual gp is away till June so another doctor wrote the request for my bloods last week. So I booked to see her today. I get in there and tell her my symtoms seem to be fading since yesterday so could she write me another set of 48 bloods as well as the initial blood screening plus the referrals. This is where things got weird..... we had just gone through my mc history and she says to me 'are you trying to have a girl?' WTF!!!!!!!!! I said I couldn't care less if the baby was genderless as long as it stuck. She had a giggle then went on to tell me about when her cousin got pregnant she only wanted a girl and flat out did not want to have a boy. When her aunty (my doc's mother) told her she looked like she was carrying a boy her cousin booked an abortion but changed her mind. Meanwhile I'm shocked at where our consult has gone 😮 and said 'well it's out of your control what gender you have' to which she replied 'actually you can choose what gender you have. It's common practice in my country (Iran) there are cleanses (I bet she's referring to douching) and foods you can eat that are scientifically proven to choose gender. So now I'm thinking to myself hmmm I wonder what your username on gd site is 😂😂😂. I said to her then well there must be opposites regardless because otherwise there'd be problems with gender ratio to which she replied she thinks it's an unethical practice anyway.....end of consult.
I got my blood taken, went out to the car and burst out laughing!!! I even pinched myself to make sure I wasn't asleep and didn't dream that whole whacky appointment 😂😂😂
I should have my results in about 3-4 hours hopefully.

Ash I have no idea!! Maybe because I have two boys? I still cant believe she asked that right after we discussed my miscarriages!!!!! So inappropriate! I may have started this two years ago wanting a girl but after what's happened I just want a healthy bub.

Yes, I completely understand! I'd absolutely love a girl but I'll be perfectly happy with a healthy baby #5. But I think you have a fantastic chance at your girl!
So glad to hear your scan went well srg!! And sorry to hear about your daughters upcoming surgery. Xxforhubby went through this with one of her ds's a little while ago. I'm sure she'd be happy to chat if you have any questions :) There's also another lady whose child had this done recently but I'm not sure she's told anyone so I won't mention her name but if she sees this she may mention it :)Quote:
