I'm worried I'm going to snap and say 'do you really think after three miscarriages I give a shit about gender' just to see their faces when realise how inappropriate what they are saying really is 😠😠 and knowing me I'd rub it in with 'you never know what someone is going or has gone through, maybe you'll think twice before making this mistake again!'

I swear it's the comments I dread most!! Pbn you should totally say that. After talking with my DH today we will both find out gender at 20 weeks. He really really wants to know (and is insisting he wants another girl, but I know he's be excited about a boy) and I just feel weird him knowing and me not. We don't really keep secrets. I can't believe I haven't told him I swayed, but I think it's bc I'm not 100% sure I buy into it [emoji15] Surely I'm not the only one that feels that way? I mean, I can do see boy/girl lifestyles now but there's always the exception that throws me for a loop. All that to say, we will find out and tell people when I'm ready. I'll tell y'all as soon as I know though [emoji8]
I don't plan to get the gender blood work done early though bc I'm not ready to know yet. Of course that's 30 days away and I could change my mind [emoji23]
Kat dh and I feel the same with the swaying. I wanted to give it a try because if I didn't I would have always wondered. But we ultimately feel it's in gods hands and we will get what gender is perfect for our family. Obviously I'm meant to be a boy mom 🤛 and I'm ok with that. They treat me like a princess (most of the days) and if we have another girl in the house she will take some of the spotlight *totally selfish I know*
Ok so we have a slight issue lol we were talking names tonight and he says well we already have a girl name and I comment yes but it's so frustrating looking through names for hours on end for a boy. His comment I already have a name "Nolan" cute name but the issue with this is it was the name of my first boyfriend in 5th grade [emoji33] who went on to commit suicide a couple years ago and we live in a small small area where most of my old class mates would be talking! [emoji52] pressure is on to have a girl or think of a kick ass boy name

Kat I think some people will have just one gender regardless of swaying or not. I've seen the 110% sways fail and half arsed ones succeed. I do believe it works for some but those that believe in shettles (that has been scientifically proven wrong on so many levels) could also say the same. There is absolutely nothing wrong with trying to up your chances by swaying and I can honestly say I was definitely in blue territory when I conceived my boys with both diet and attempts. However some of the smaller things eg alcohol, caffeine that I consumed in large quantities 😂 are supposed to sway pink so I'm not so sure the little things matter as much as overall diet. And as I said earlier though, I do think there are some people that swaying or diet/lifestyle will have no affect on 😕 That's exciting you've made the decision to find out 😀 whether through blood work or 20w scan! Cant wait to see your nub shot!!
Ash I think that's how a lot of people feel - the giving it a go because you'll always wonder otherwise. And as for the name, no way can you go with an ex's name no matter from how long ago and the suicide (how sad 😢) would be the nail (I'm NOT going to finish that saying because it will seem like a pun no matter how unintended!)
I have always like the name Lucas but that's an ex's name (who I was madly in love with 😂) from when I was a teenager and he is the only Lucas I have ever known so I automatically think of him whenever I hear or think that name! But funnily enough my ds2 is a Matthew and I have an ex by that name. The funny part is I didn't even remember until I was thinking of boy names I like for a possible 3rd boy when I realised 😂😂

I wondered how they'd make a movie about it, but really cool how it gets into all that Sully went through after the landing that I (and I'm sure many others) didnt realize. On another note, I tried a curved frer not too long ago for reassurance and the test line was def darker than the control, but the control was still pretty dark. I wonder what the old style frer's would do though? Are you going to test it out with the old style?!

Well that was the dumbest idea I've had in a long time 😢 my test line is darker than control but not by much and my original bfps at 16 or 18dpo'ish were much darker I thought. I'm off to google what an frer at 12 weeks pregnant should look like 😩 everytime I let my guard down a little something seems to happen that makes me doubt everything all over again.
