out of interest, what days are you taking the clomid?

not sure, taking it a bit later makes for stronger (supposedly healthier) eggs doesn't it?
FWIW, I took it for one cycle and got pg right away, with a girl, but the pregnancy ended in an 18 week loss. after that miscarriage, we tried again with Clomid.
This time around, I took it for four cycles, and did not get pregnant. (this included 2 IUIs). Each cycle that I took it, my AF got lighter and lighter, and by the end of cycle #4, I felt it was likely that my lining was thin (I did have monitoring for the first 2 cycles, which showed that my lining was good then). At that point, I felt like the clomid was doing more harm than good, so I stopped taking it. DH and I were considering HT at that point, and also thinking hard about stopping TTC and moving on with the family we already have. My current pregnancy was an ooops that happened 2 months after I stopped Clomid, and the first cycle after I stopped BA.
This is my eighth pregnancy. I've had two total accidents (one with a condom), four pregnancies conceived the first cycle trying, and one (DD#2) that took two cycles. taking 5-6 months to get pregnant is highly unusual for me. (But then, I am getting older, so maybe it's just that egg quality continues to decline).
Nonetheless, I do believe that Clomid can interfere with implantation after a few months, and would consider taking a break from it (and from TTC, if you are set on using it in your sway). Chemicals can indeed be a sign that your lining is too thin for proper implantation. It takes about 6 weeks for Clomid to totally leave your system, so you'd need to wait for two full cycles after your last Clomid cycle to ensure that it's totally gone. I personally like Vitex for helping to rebalance hormones/restore your normal cycle after Clomid, and I think it can be helpful to keep notes on AF (ie do you notice that it lasts for fewer days than normal, or that you need to change pads/tampons less often than normal?) while you are waiting for your lining to thicken again and your hormones to return to normal.
Some drs who prescribe Clomid will also give you supplemental estrogen if they think (or ultrasound shows) your lining is too thin on Clomid, but I'm guessing this might counteract or somewhat undo the pink-swaying benefits of Clomid.
A lot depends on how badly you want to be pregnant, how much you care about swaying, and what you think to be the strongest possible sway--questions only you can answer for yourself.

oh, and studies have shown that taking it later in the cycle means you are less likely to have multiple follicles (potential for twins) and more likely to have a single follicle of higher quality. If egg quality is a concern for you, I'd do cd 4-8 or 5-9 instead of 3-7 or 2-6 (my clinic routinely recommends 2-6).
I've done 4-8 and 5-9, and had large follicles, but never multiples.

I'm taking it cd 3-7 under dr recommendations and care. I think this will be my last month on it though.
My af is normal for me while bfing. Starts like spotting but becomes heavy. It's never been light in my life!
Not sure what my issue is other than I'm super dry. No EWCM. I am going to try a bit of preseed this cycle.
preseed sounds like a good plan if this is your last month then. Are you taking baby aspirin too?
