Congrats Nahri!!! That's great news :)
Congrats Nahri! Hopefully this is a start to great October of BFP's.
My DD was born very ill, and almost died, and I said the same thing, it was karma for wanting a DD. But you know what? It isn't true. Having a desire for a gender isn't a 'bad' thing that deserve karma coming to bite you. It isn't like you are not caring and loving to your sons because they aren't girls. Hugs to you mama
Congrats Nahri! That's definitely a positive!
And Rosie-- please don't give up. Did you have a BFP this cycle or did AF just show up? I definitely don't think you are being punished for wanting a DD. Did Atomic suggest that you start taking zinc and iron after being on the diet so long and your losses? She did for me and I know I read that iron helps increase egg quality. Is your DH taking OLE too? I think your DD is waiting for you still. (((HUGS)))
Yay Nahri!!!! That is definitely a positive! My EDD is June 14th, so we will be at almost the exact same spot the entire pregnancy. Yay!
Rosie, I am so sorry to hear you are so stressed about the miscarriages. I don't think it is karma for wanting a girl, but it is clearly very troubling to you (understandably). I don't know what your situation is, but I hope that you have someone that you can talk to to try to work through some of the stress and anxiety you are feeling. Perhaps if you can talk through some of it, perhaps you can learn to believe everything everyone else is telling you. Or at least grieve the loss and be able to move forward in a way that works for you.
As for those who are considering skipping a month, I think it is a very personal decision. I think it comes down to whether you think you would be secretly hoping for a BFN that month. If you would be, then skipping it is fine. But if you think you would be happy with a BFP even if it meant the due date was not at the ideal time, then skipping that month is probably not right for you.
Good luck to everyone!!! Hoping to see lots more BFPs this month!
I skipped a month just to get back on track with my diet. I was very strict except for my 2 cheat meals a month but we got over run with family gatherings/dinners I would just say oh I am on a diet which kept most food from getting crammed down my throat but not all. Sometimes a month off just really helps to reset your stress level as well. No pee sticks, no possibility of disappointment, and if you or DH is worn out then no BD to worry about either. Do something nice for yourself and just relax for a month and pick it back up again later!
Yah!!! Nahri!!!
Rosie honey you have been through ALOT seriously. No one should have to go through back to back miscarriages. Big hugs to you and im sure your little lady is waiting for you! Xxx
Go bluebonnet as you know I did every four days plus one attempt I was really nervous about it but just decided being pregnant meant more than my 5% increase of 'getting a girl' , so glad I did it I also conceived after a 2 month sway break deft think that helped. I would not recommend taking months off generally ( my DH had a burst appendix) but it did me mentally a world of good not to be so obsessively thinking about ttc/2 ww etc good luck ladies more BFPs for October please!
