Ash-- I'd studied enough that I knew it was a girl as soon as she put the wand on me and just waited until the end to ask. Of course, I'm secretly hoping that her "80% girl" is wrong and I'm in that 20%, but I know it's unlikely. I think I'm struggling because I'd really felt good about my chances for a boy. I'm getting better with the idea of an all-girl family. :)

Feeling so thankful today! I have not felt sick yet! I've only used sea bands, 1preggie pop (they're the BEST) and I hard ginger candy! The windows are open with a nice breese coming through on this 74 degree overcast day!, found heartbeat by pubic bone on left side and lost it then found again on right side up higher so little babe is active! House is decently clean and bathrooms scrubbed! Only one puking today [emoji17] we've been slowly passing this sickness over about a week and a half. So ready to find out what little one is so I can get excited either way and start planning the nursery

Sky-wow can't believe it's almost here. I feel nauseous here & there, but some days I feel like I have this huge gaping hole in my stomach & eating only makes it feel better...almost ravenous
! I never had this issue with either of my boys & so worried I'm going to gain weight early [emoji15]Hope you feel better...hopefully this will all be a distant memory soon!
Kat-getting so close & I'm so excited for you!!
Bluebooties-glad your appt went well! Hope your trip was wonderful! I can imagine the heat & being preggo wouldn't be easy, but def magical for your kiddos! I agree-what a strange comment from your OB...making assumptions
Ash-sounds like you've had a wonderful day & wow, that's a score! I bought some of those preggie pop drops! And the comment from your grandma-ugh every comment I hear like that just irks me ugh! People don't think they're saying anything wrong! I thought about telling family July 4th after my appt Friday...but maybe I'll just wait until I know gender like my original plan haha.
Srg-smart plan to go ahead & announce girl to avoid the boy statements! That's precisely why I need to wait until I know gender first...I'll post gender on FB before anyone has a chance to make the annoying comments.

Popping back in for a quick minute...spent the evening with a lot of my family celebrating some birthdays & managed to not let my news slip yet! We'll see how long I can hold out...only 2 people know other than DH! It wasn't that hard this time b/c I reminded myself that this day was about the bday celebrations.

Ash - I m having a better day in days today so far. Knock the wood. [emoji51]
I read about some tips to work on nausea and I tried eating a toast in the morning. More like swallowing and throwing in my stomach. It didn't make me miserable for a few hours. Eating lunch now before I head out for dd's countless classes. [emoji12]I really hope today is a good day and nausea stays away. [emoji52]wow Those MS goodies look great. I m glad the house is clean and boys are feeling better and the one who's still a little unwell also gets all better soon. Wow planning nursery and shopping sounds great.
Srg - That's a great idea. I know I hope it's a boy statement bugs me the most. I know people mean well but sometimes not saying anything is better than saying something stupid. [emoji12]I haven't even told the family yet and when I will, I m going to tell them that I m not going to find out the gender so that they don't even bother saying anything.
I somehow wrote this and sent but it didn't post. [emoji849][emoji51][emoji51][emoji51]
And now it's night. Today overall was better than other days. I hope tomorrow is the same. I did have nausea but it was something I could handle.

To be fair, now I'm just getting "Your poor husband! That's so many weddings/so much estrogen!" statements. [emoji849]

Srg i know how u feel. And i am dreading the same. For this reason I am not planning on telling anyone who isnt either family close friend or co-worker. I am going to keep it to myself for as long as i can. My mom knows and one close friend as i broke down when i found i was pregnant again and had to confide in someone.
These days i am just struggling with how i will manage to raise and afford 4 kids esp. girls !!

Blue I know this sounds completely crazy to a lot of people but I always cloth diaper my babies and it's nothing like it used to be in the old days. The diapers are super cute and super easy to use. I order mostly off www.kellyscloset.com they're expensive to get into but you for sure save money in the long run. I always order two when there is free shipping and they do rewards also. I've gotten at least 4 free diapers through them.

And this will sound even more off the wall BUT if formula is expensive for you there is a Thing called eats of feets I think that's what it is. Where women who produce to much breastmilk (like myself) get connected with a local mother and they would give their extra frozen milk to you at no cost. Some people think it's completely bizarre and some love the idea.
