Had a lot to catch up on! It makes me sad to hear all these comments, I'm trying to prepare myself as well ☹️ I just wish we could ALL get our desired gender!! It makes me not want to find out though or find out and not tell people (except y'all) but I just hate to lie and say we don't know.
Lola - you will be naming your girl Sophia after that engagement story, Sophia is your name!! Also, don't kill me but will you put the link up again for the Doppler? I'm thinking of buying it. Have you been able to use it yet?

Oh, I am so sorry you all are getting the comment too! I get them ALL the time. People just can't believe I have 4 boys. Yes, I do. And I love them all!!!! And they are all so different.
I won't be calling the midwife or getting confirmation. Even when I had it staring me in the face last time, I had my doubts. So I will always doubt until this baby is born. I will just plan for a boy and that will be it. I have told my Mom and DH (and anyone else that asks) that I am sure this one is another boy. My Mom is the sweetest and confirms that no matter what, she is just so happy that we have a healthy little one. She has a gut feeling that this one is a boy as well and she is usually right. :)
With everything I went through just to get to this point, I know this little boy has fought hard to be with us. Now I think that I might have a mild case of intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP). This one is definitly keeping me on my toes. But if that is the case, I will have to be induced early. I am not sure how I feel about that. So I just take one day at a time.

Sky-love your dd's beautiful reaction!! [emoji173]She sounds like such a fun & happy girl!! ...And your family's reaction...what a wonderful surprise!! I'm so glad you told your fam after DH's fam & they were able to lift your spirits! [emoji173][emoji173]

Nacire-I would also go with ob#2. He sounds just as awesome & also will give you the attention you need! I realllly like having my OB there for all of my births. If he also has excellent reviews, I wouldn't hesitate to go with him & like others have said...see how your 1st appt goes with him!
Shann-Your mom sounds wonderful & I'm glad you have her for support! Was DH hoping for a girl or does it matter to him? My DH always said that he wanted our #3 to be a girl, but just recently he said "I wouldn't mind another boy, I love my boys." That made me feel better [emoji170]
Srg-I was freaking out b/c I had a dream I was having a girl & thought the same about dreaming opposite. XX reassured me that she dreamed she was having a girl several times & she is in fact having a girl! Well, just had another dream....this time dreaming I was having sextuplets-all boys! So I've had a dream both ways now & believe pbn is so right! Dreams are just your subconscious processing thoughts, fears, what we've seen throughout the day etc. I actually had a dream last night that all of us were in a room together partying...strange b/c I don't know what most of you look like, but I do remember seeing Ash's beautiful hair!
Kat-thanks for that! I do feel that Sophia is the name & I will be settling if we don't use it. Here's the one catch. DH's mom said that she felt like DH's brother & wife didn't seem as excited as they should be about their first arriving so soon and she worries something is wrong & they just aren't saying anything. DH & I believe that his mom is just worrying for no reason, but who knows....maybe she has some time of momma's intuition! I hope & pray there is no reason for her concern! I do think it would be unkind of us to use the name if their baby does has some type of issue(I believe baby is healthy). They are due very soon, so I will just keep them in my prayers & see how life plays out!
I tried the Doppler out, but so far I can only hear my heartbeat. I know it's early and there could be factors like location of the placenta that could be making it harder to hear. I can't wait for it to work though!!!!
Here's the link:
Sonoline B Fetal Doppler with 3Mhz probe in Pink
It comes in pink or blue & arrived quickly!

Lola - that is crazy that your MIL is worried. They could just be scared about bringing the new baby home. I know we all go through that. Even us old timers. It is a change no matter what. Praying that everything is fine with their little one.
DH was really hoping for a girl for me. I don't think he really cares one way or the other. But he has been so supportive of me and all my crazy ideas. He is awesome.
Naci - I agree and I would go with Dr #2 and see how you fell with him.
Srg - sorry you are having crazy dreams. I never dream of the baby so I can't help, but I agree that it does not mean anything. HUGS
Sky - glad you are back and that DD is so happy for a little sibling! It helps to remind you of the important things in life and that you def made the right decision to have another one. :)

Shann-thanks, I think you're exactly right! DH's brother & wife are prob just tired & overwhelmed at the thought of bringing home their first baby. His brother is not very talkative/expressive to begin with, so that may be part of it, but I really can't imagine there being something wrong & them not telling anyone. I pray that we will find out soon that all is well!
That is so wonderful for you to have DH's support through all of this!! Sounds like he's happy if you're happy!! [emoji173]

Pretty much. He just wants to make me happy. Thus 5 kids!!! :D

lol Lola that dream is funny that you remember my hair [emoji38]. I also don't think much into dreams I've had a dream we're having boy and a dream it's a girl and I don't remember dreaming anything gender with my other 4 I think it's just the pressure we're putting on ourselves.
NACIRE I'd go with #2 also the more attention the dr can give you the better in my opinion. You don't want to have to wait forever if your having a scare.
Shan I agree you mom is the best ❤️ we should all have someone special and supporting in our lives. My parents also know I swayed and they're the only ones I've told. They haven't made any comments I think they're honestly scared to [emoji1325] [emoji12]
Lola I think your conworker going with savannah is a sign you need to stick with Sophia! You'll see your co worker much more than your family member.
Sky Dd sounds wonderful if we could just all funnel ourselves to the ones closest and most excited we'd be in good shape.

has anyone else had headaches during any of their pregnancies?
i never had them with any of my boys but did have them a lot with my girls, im not putting this down to gender i do think its just the way its worked out for me (though i'll admit its hard not to put it down to gender haha when i have symptoms that i never had with any of the 4 boys but i did have with each of the girls.. and im getting them all again this time)
ive had a headache every day this week including one all day today.. the sickness has basically gone :D but it seems the headaches have now moved in and taken its place.
