Mummy- hope the 6 weeks goes quickly for you!
How is everyone? Who still has to test?
Thank you. I'm even considering taking the boys for a short visit to see daddy sometime over the next 4 weeks [emoji6][emoji23] it's about a 3 hour drive. Is that crazy?!
How are you? Remind me if you are temping or not?

No it's not crazy! I'm sure he'd appreciate it too :)
Yes I'm temping but only started this month so I'm interested to see what happens
Just catching up on the last couple of days...its been a busy couple of days so not had chance to check in.
Nebethetepet - huge congratulations
Mummy - that's not crazy at all, I too would visit. It would be great for you all and also you may get some cheeky attempts in
Babybeablue - good luck for your attempt, I have everything crossed for you :fx:
CD4 for me today so it's back to the OPKs soon :sigh:
Had my recent smear test results back which kinda through me on Friday, I have tested positive for hpv virus so have to be re-tested next year, rather than 3 years. I got totally upset and paranoid as no other info was given and I didn't know about this virus or what it meant. I managed to speak to a nurse and she said its extremely common and not too worry that it lays dorment in some ppl for many years and it may just go away on its own but they will keep a closer eye on me. It just worries me that I could have had it for many years and as I have never been tested for it before its unknown how long it's been there. And obviously the risk of it being related to cervical cancer
Mummy, I'm rooting for you!!! I had the same thing with my DH this summer - he works in NYC and we have a beach house where I take the girls for several months, so we only see each other on the weekends...my plan was to drive into the city if I got a positive OPK while he was gone. Do what you need to do! :)
Fingers crossed for you all you ladies!!
Mommy, how is the cycle going without temping and opk's? So excited for you!!!
Max, just kind of going with the flow this month. It's actually nice not to have the stress of the opks and temping.

Happylea is that the same thing they are now vaccinating school girls against? Is it ok in pregnancy? I would have freaked out too.
Babybeablue yes it is, the nurse reassured me but still worried about it. She also said I could have had it since I was 18 years old (having never been tested I don't know how long I have had it) but I have had 5 babies since then so I assumed it was OK.
I read up on it and it's says it's OK to have babies. It said can cause pre cancerous cells and also says can cause fertility issues and problems carrying to full term. I had no abnormal cells which is a relief.
The only thing I'm not sure of is there are many strains of this virus and I don't know which strain I have tested positive for, I don't have any warts are anything. The nurse said that 2 strains I think the numbers are like 16&18 (don't quote me on the numbers as they could be incorrect) that are higher risk and that is what they look for in the test. So assume I tested positive for those :worry:
So then any of us could have it :/ that's scary. I had an abnormal smear before any of my pregnancies and it really does frighten u.
What made them test for it this time?
