Xx- my last acupuncture appt was 2 weeks ago. She told me IF it was going to make me ovulate it would happen in next 24 to 48 hrs. It didn't happen. But, I ovulated last week for the first time since before November. It could have been the acupuncture starting to regulate my cycle. Either way I will definitely go back for stress relief treatments!

I used DT last cycle and got a positive when wondfo was negative. They seems to be very sensitive. GL! It is super close!
I think Im 6dpo and can barely keep my eyes open today. Also incredibly frustrated at nothing. My nipples have been sore for days, and I have a headache. :(

I've decided we'll start BDing every 3 days starting in the next few days. It isn't ideal for pink but for my mental health and my relationship with DH I think I have to feel like we did everything to catch the first egg. Who knows I might not even ovulate this cycle but I want to feel like I did everything I could...

I think this is smart. When I got back to swaying pink right after my m/c I didn't know when I'd ovulate so we just DTD every 4 days (instead of 3). My attempts ended up falling on O-4 and ovulation day. I didn't get pregnant that month and I blame myself for being too rigid with the timing. I should have added an attempt at O-1 that month (so 3 days apart) instead of making myself wait until after ovulation to DTD again. I have a happy ending so I can't complain, but let me tell you the first AF after my loss was hard and I regretted the decision to not try harder (with better timing) to catch the first egg so much during the past months. I am wanting a girl but dtd every 3 days and will probably add one if I ever get a positive opk. Being pregnant is more important than a girl to me at this point. We waited until I had one full cycle after my mc and the second I realized my period was starting I regretted waiting that cycle:/. If you have the ok from you doctor and your mentally ready, go for it. For me I just feel a huge void since the miscarriage and feel the quicker that void is filled the quicker I move on. I will always be sad that that baby never had anyone but me and my husband to be excited about him(we didn't know sex, but my 3 year old named him George). I hate that he will never know the love we had for him, even at 8 weeks. He never got loved or snuggled, just a moms body who failed him, vacuumed and is floating in some bio-hazardous waste barrel somewhere... Sorry if that's too much. But I need to get pregnant asap so I'm not focusing on these awful thoughts!
I am trying to do IF as well as LE. Last cycle, except for the first 4 fasting days, I fasted completely or very close (under 100 cals for sure) the other fasting days. This cycle so far I've been eating 300-400 cals on my fasting days, bc I can't handle the Soy on an empty stomach and maybe due to AF, too. I also did 2 eating days in a row, the day before AF and CD1. So I'm not perfect. During my 12 hours on eating days, I follow LE rules except I eat more cals. How many more depends on how strictly I fasted. But the aim is to keep what I eat over the course of 2 days around 2200-2800 cals, so I can eat that much on my eating days. I am hoping the Soy stimulates earlier O this month, especially since going off Vitex may delay it. I want to maximize my chances of a Libra DD over Scorpio. Silly, I know...
tarasue, I highly doubt your body failed your angel baby. Almost definitely a chromosomal or mitochondrial defect was to blame considering you've had 2 healthy pregnancies. But I completely understand wanting to get pregnant again ASAP and hope this cycle does the trick for you, Junie, and anyone else who has had a loss recently. Though I'm hoping those of us who have been trying for over 6 months see a BFP soon, too. I do think it will happen for most if not all of us here eventually,.
essnce, I hope DH is sloppy with the condoms. My late DH kept delaying kids and I wish so much that I'd just had kids anyway. It is so frustrating how many men fight having (further) children. Don't our dreams matter too?

3boys- we are pretty close I'm 6 dpo today. I had light cramping yesterday and it was making me think AF. I feel like 5 dpo would really be too soon to be feeling anything. 2 WW is killer. I started out feeling really positive and high hopes of being pregnant Almost through week 1 I'm already losing hope. Ugh.
Fingers crossed for every one in the 2 ww! And good luck to everyone waiting for O and/or BD!

Your post made me so sad. Those must be horrible haunting thoughts for you. Sorry you're feeling bad. Just wondering if you had a counselor to talk to? Even if it was just once or twice. Or what if you did something special like planted a tree for George. A way to turn the sadness into something more positive. I'm not saying you need to move on or not be sad and mourn. I can't imagine having those intense thoughts and that stress. I just want to hug you. I just feel like his short presence with you must be paving the way for something you maybe can't even imagine yet. It could be something amazing. Xoxo
Since I am still BFing, I am just going to fast according to the catholic guidelines during lent. Instead of just fasting on Fridays and Holy days, I'll fast everyday. I used to do that before I had kids- I think that will be better for me than IF right now. I'll be having two small meals that don't add up to one full meal and one full meal a day- 1200-1400 calories a day. I may have to increase if I lose too much. I will completely fast on Fridays and on Holy days though. When I did this before having kids, I lost 10-12lbs during lent!i have about 5-8lbs I could lose without effecting ovulation now, maybe not since I am SO lean. My body fat is the lowest it has ever been at 16-17%! I just have to watch that- it has already taken me a long time to conceive, and I don't want to throw gas on a fire! I will definitely have to keep an eye on things.
FX for ladies waiting to test- BFP and O! CD7 for me....time marches on!

QueenB- The whole first trimester I felt so awful that we barely had sex it has probably been almost a month now and we really never go that long. My hormones are actually making me quite in the mood which is hard because I am still spotting. I think my body just wants me to get pregnant again LOL. I hope you feel better soon!

Thanks Emileejane, a tree is a wonderful idea! I am a landscape designer with a degree in horticulture so a tree for my little angel is perfect!! What a beautiful idea! I don't have a counselor at this time, I was seeing someone about a year ago that just kept telling me I probably wouldn't be able to get pregnant because I was in an eating disorder rut..... Definitely DON'T go back to that counselor! Sounds like a jerk! You probably need counseling for the counseling you received. Call your OB and ask for names or contact a local birth/postpartum group or doula for names of counselors with special interest in birth. (If you so desire to find one).
I cannot tell if that opk is pos or not. Looks close if it's not. I'd BD! Good luck☆

Emilee, it sounds as though we are close with our cycles! I'm 7dpo today and got another BFN, of course. It's still too early to be testing but I can't help myself! My nipples are still sore, although more achy today, not as sharp when I touch them. My back aches and my headache is still there too. Not sure what to make of it all really. I feel pregnant for sure, but it also could be my body going into overdrive because this is my first cycle off the pill. I've fallen pregnant on my first cycle befor though, so anything could happen!
Keep in touch 3boys! I am going to try to not test till Friday of next week or Saturday would be even better. But I'm sure I'll cave at some point. I don't have any symptoms really. Glad you are feeling something!

8dpo. My plan to prevent myself from testing is taking a pee all the time! Keeping my bladder empty I would think keep me from testing. Morning will be the hardest time to pass up. I have been cramping on and off since 4dpo, which makes me think I am out.

I noticed MyByC was missing awhile ago and contacted her privately. She was traveling and didn't have a chance this month. She might be back later, but she sounded a little depressed.
I'm 10dpo today and feeling really depressed about my temp drops. This is what happens every month. That's why I'm not testing early this time, I thought I'd just wait for good temps, but no. The plan was to poas Fri or Sat since af is due Sun. I know, you're not out until af, temps can be weird, but I'm not feeling it. Less symptoms than other bfn cycles. At least I have my appt with the specialist coming up.
The worst part of this is I'm feeling jealousy. I'm having trouble enjoying friend's babies because I keep thinking how I'm missing my own. I feel guilty watching dd play with her "baby" as she calls her doll, sad that I can't give her a real one sooner. What do you all do to stay positive? I've tried reading success stories, but I wonder if that's worse because I'm still dwelling on ttc.
I too struggle with this. Some days are better than others. Most of the time I am at peace and feel ok with just having my 2 DSs. Other times, I feel like someone is missing in my family and feel sad that it may not happen. I am working on accepting things the way they are and the possibility of not being able to have anymore children. I try to find comfort in my boys. I do feel blessed- I never thought I wanted children until DS1. When we started to ttc DS1, only ever wanted boys and feel blessed to have gotten my wish! DH had huge GD with both boys and it was the worst with DS2. DH is at peace not having a DD but sometimes feels like someone is missing from our family too. DH is ok with only having 2 children, and I am trying to get there too. I just feel like I have these huge odds against me and it is hard to not take it personally. I am slowly getting there. Today is a not so good day for me. Crying as I post this. Tomorrow is another day.Quote:

Xx & sage- sorry you're feeling down. I am headed that direction. Trying to stay positive, but I really don't feel like I caught the egg this time. Crazy it's so hard for us all. I suppose I can look forward to starting the Femara next cycle and hopefully having a better chance. Also I'm in need of some oral surgery (yay!) That I may be able to get if I'm not pregnant. I suppose time will tell. Chin up ladies. I hope to witness future success for us all!

Just a question, trying to get my head around my temp chart this month. I am 9dpo and my temp has stayed high since O day, but then yesterday and today it had dropped, just wanted some advice as I got really bummed about it, went researching on the issue ( all symptoms and signs have to be researched lol) , there can actually be a dipp in temp while implantasjon of the egg, and then again the temp will rise? Any of you ladies have any imput here, or is it a really bad sign that my temp has dropped at 9 dpo? Really bummed me out, as my temp has been high and really steady ever since o day.
It has dropped 0,5 in a couple of days, so it is quite alot too :worry:
Rosie- I'm so thrilled for you!!!
AFM- I did a HPT with FMU and the 2nd line was super faint. I hope all the hormones are gone in a few more days!!! No CM yet but I'm only at CD8 so it is just too early.
Everyone else try not to get down you're never out till AF shows :) I hope this group all moves on to a birth club this month!!!

Wishing-well, yes, some people have a dip or implantation bleeding, but not all. With my dd I got a big temp dip the day af was due and woke up covered in sweat. I assumed af was coming and didn't poas, but still no af two days later, so I knew I was preg! The big thing to look for is if your temp goes back up. Mine dropped this month and isn't going up again, so I think I'm out. Could it mean low progesterone for me? I see a specialist in 2 weeks and hope to get some answers.

Sunbuny- yes opk's are super pesky!!! I had a positive dollar tree test Wednesday afternoon, lots of ewcm tues-thurs, FINALLY a positive ec opk last night! Pretty good cramps last nigh, they made me jump a little, blaring positive opk this morning and lotion like cm. Does that mean I ovulated during the night? Not as crampy this morning, more sore. We did Wednesday night and then again this morning..... Not good for pink, but I just want to catch that egg😬!
So long story short, I think I just stepped into the traitorous TWW!!!
You can get a temp dip during this time due to a second estrogen surge to build the uterine lining. It is usually around CD7-9. It can be due to implantation but it can often happen in non-pregnant cycles too. Your temp should come back up with good progesterone production. If you scroll back 2-3 pages, you can see this in my chart. AF did come, but it shows good hormone production.Quote:

Thank you so much both sageviolett and XX, I am not ready to be out quite yet, Af isn`t due until next tuesday so all I kinda got is hope and even though the 2ww sucks really bad, it still gives us hope until AF comes knocking once again;(
So I tested this morning and I swear I see a line:-/ it is not showing up in a picture so I didn't post it because I would feel bat crazy!!! I am 9dpo and I wouldn't have even tested but I started feeling nauseous on and off yesterday and super dizzy. I was so sure I was out a few days ago because I have been having mild cramping since 4dpo. The cramping is making me a little nervous! I am hoping to get a stronger bfp in a day or so and post it with confidence;) FXFX
