Pebbles- I had a few pregnancies where I was fine until almost 8 weeks. Not the case this go around. But maybe that's what is happening for you! Or maybe you'll get lucky and be fine! FX
At 5 weeks, I don't have much other than sore boobs. With DS2 I felt sick from before 4 weeks but DS1 it was later, maybe 5 or 6 weeks. I got heartburn really early last time too, might be because I was almost 10kg heavy with DS2 compared to this time and with DS1.Quote:

I will be 8 weeks on wed. Feeling nauseous everyday, and usually it is all day and gets worse if I don't eat every hour or so.i hate feeling like this so much.i suffer from anxiety with it. But I also keep telling myself I have it easy compared to women who are throwing up every hour every day.

Let the pregnancy cravings begin! I had a dream last night and HAVE to have this for lunch: a roast beef sub sandwich on a hoagie bun with iceberg lettuce and Roma tomatoes and a mixed green side salad with diced Roma tomatoes, shaved carrots, shredded cheese and my tummy Bolthouse ranch dressing ( the best ranch dressing I've ever tasted and is only 45 calories made with ingredients you actually know!)!
Looks like I have to go to the grocery store before lunch [emoji1]!
I'm working out in a few so I won't feel guilty about my lunch!!!
How is everyone else doing/feeling?

Sorry ladies that most of you feel so sick:( Look on the other side of it you are not gaining a lot of weight.
As for me I can't stop eating:hair: On top of it all I'm too tired all the time ans sleepy. It is really hard to admit how much weight i gained already. I really hope i will be more active after the second trimester. My DH says i will be a rhino this time, why I'm not offended? lol:)
I'm currently regretting some of my meal choices today. I have been craving a bean burrito from Baja Fresh and it tasted ok while eating it but I've been miserable since then :(

I was surprisingly fine! I must have needed the nutrients. My nausea is tolerable now and comes and goes- it doesn't last ally day anymore. Heartburn is another story. I don't former giving up my Zantac any time soon :/Quote:

Nausea is still all day for me, annoying headache that won't go away, and I can't keep my eyes open :/ I seriously wish I could sleep until I'm in the 2nd trimester! The only thing that sounds good and doesn't make me nauseous is fruit right now.
Oh darlings... The MS sounds terrible.. I'm so sorry you're still feeling it.

I'm exhausted tonight... I didn't take cough medicine last night because I don't want to overdo it and again.. I woke after only 4 hours sleep. Grrrrr....

Hey ladies, had my dating ultrasound today. Measuring 6 weeks and my due date is 3 days later than what I thought based on ovulation. Does it mean I ovulated a little later than I think? Wish the heartbeat could have been picked up today.

Attempts close to ovulation don't effect a sway. It's how many you had in your fertile window that may effect a sway. For instance, having an attempt O-1 or on O day can still sway girl provided that was your only attempt in your fertile window. My attempt was the day before O, O-1, and I should find out what we are having next week.
Having an attempt on O day or close to it doesn't sway boy- that is the old school way of thought.

I actually had 2 attempts in 4 days... o -3 and o day. I'm not which attempt resulted in this Bubba. I am not a believer in timing anymore. I really think it is about the number of attempts. 2 attempts was way less then how I got my boys.

XX and Sunbuny, I am still of the old school mentality on timing. Ds1 and 2 were both at ovulation 2 attempts and very boy friendly everything.
But this time it was one attempt and 2-3 days before O. Can't wait to find out!

My attempts were 4 days before O and 2.. WAY less than with my boys. We would BD non stop. I think the j&d was a huge change for us ttc too. I'm dying to know. Every time I see a little girl I cry. Dang hormones!
I wasn't expecting to O (or get pregnant) as early as I did. In fact this whole cycle was supposed to be a wash because I wasn't supposed to O yet and DH was going out of town after I had been out of town a week- so I threw him an extra BD to keep morale up lol. We ended up BD'ing on O-1 and O. Oops!
My last post I said something about a burrito not sitting well... After that I spent all of Monday sick as a dog. I could barely get off the couch, and my poor husband spent his Memorial Day being a single daddy. I'm feeling better today but I'm still easily tired. The nurse at the midwife's office is sure it was just a 24 hour bug that's going around, but I'm nervous about listeria, especially since DH fed me a deli meat sandwich that it turns out hadn't been heated :mad:
Hi all! Just joining the group. I'm just barely pregnant - my est. due date is January 26, according to online calculators. I haven't been to the doctor yet, and won't until June 10. I've already had one dream that I found out it's a boy in an ultrasound. I was really disappointed in the dream, which is scary. My psyche preparing me for the possibility, I'm sure. Anyway, praying for a healthy baby and pregnancy! Hope everyone is feeling well!

I have an ultrasound booked for exactly 7wks on the 6th of June.
I'm dealing with a tummy bug at the moment, I think I picked it up from DS2 as he had something on the weekend. I got really dizzy and sweaty at one stage yesterday and passed out for a minute or two on my bed. Lucky I managed to get from the bathroom to the bedroom although I don't actually remember doing it! Now I don't know if I'm queasy from the stomach bug or from morning sickness!
Sorry to read you are getting spotting again seebee, do you know why you are getting it? It would be very stressful seeing that :(
No idea what is causing it. I thought the 1st time it was just implantation. Now I'm not so sure. Calling my Dr tomorrow and hoping to see her.
