Atomic replied to a query I had in another thread with what she thought were solid up to date blue sway tactics. She definitely said weights for DW but for DH she just specified no jogging or cycling.

Yep been told the same thing. More muscle for the wife, doesn't matter for the DH just keep those puppies cool!!
Bommy- that's totally us also! Both my girls were one hit wonders as well! I will be 30 soon. I would love an April baby!
Yes! We should start a meal thread! Or do it in here! I know what I need to eat but I struggle with variety and need to keep it interesting to succeed.
I have been perusing pintrest to find dinner ideas. I'll see if I can find a few that I've tested and are successful. Sine I work I'm huge into crock pot or easy meals that only take like 30-45 mins to make. I tend to get stuck in the same things day in and out so I need to look for some inspiration to switch it up.

Using my future blue sway as gym motivation today. Would like to loose 10kg this year so getting in some cardio while the kids are at daycare and before the HE diet starts.
Hey ladies ! I'm updating here to say that I am having a girl ! Sneak peek was right . So failed sway for me (& I did it by the book !) but best of luck to you all . IF we have another it will be PGD!

:bighug: Oh Cnburke I'm really sorry it hasn't gone the way you were hoping. I'd forgotten you'd done the sneak peek testing and everything. How are you feeling about the news? I know there isn't anything that can really be said to stave off feeling disappointed but I truely believe that a little girl who overcame all your blue sway strategies must really want to be part of your family. If/when you want to chat lots of women with experiences and thoughts to share with.
Cnburke I'm so sorry. I hope your girls are the best if friends. I am trying to prepare for this possibility as well, but I now no matter how well I talk up 3 girls I'm sure I'll still struggle with it for a little bit. I think we will plan PGD if this one fails as well.
SO I made a secret board on Pintrest and I have been pinning cute baby things. I am afraid to pin boy things because I'm afraid I will jinx it. any one else?
I have a secret "boy sway" board on Pinterest haha and I have been pinning boy stuff. Ahh
Hii Ladies !!
How is everything going on?
Diva , panther?
My life style became LE diet again , because I'm trying to lose weight
I wont TTC until I lose at least 5 kilos
My DH is eating better now ! More than when I was TTC ! Ugh whyyyy!!!
He is eating all the 3 meals (he was skipping breakfast and dinner).

@burke - sorry about your failed sway :( this little girl was definitely meant to be here if she beat all those sway tactics!
@business - we skipped trying to conceive this month because DH was so sick with his eye infection and stuff. Unfortunately I O'ed really late! CD27-28! I'm currently 4-5dpo and we'll be TTc our first attempt next cycle. Hopefully I don't have a delayed O like that again as I'm typically 21-25!
On the plus side I had soooo much EWCM it was insane! And for about 5 days too. Hopefully that remains next cycle. The daily lemon water all day is definitely helping.
GL next cycle then :)
I will try lemon water when trying :)

My thyroid levels went even more hypo with this drug change, so I'm out another 4-6 weeks at least. I have a feeling I'll be trying closer to a year postpartum or beyond based on this thyroid stuff, which I'm sure will make atomic at least a little more pleased lol
Sorry your levels have gone a bit crazy Panther. Sounds like one step forwards two steps backwards at this point, so frustrating. Your right that the silver lining is longer between pregnancies, can only be good for your blue sway.
What's the consensus on extra light olive oil for blue sway? I've been making my own mayonnaise and ranch dressing for the last year and both take extra light olive oil and I would hate to give them up! It is a healthy fat so should be good for blue... correct?
Atomic says olive oil and coconut oil are good to cook with for blue. No to canola. Hope this helps. I'm about to start my 1st attempt cycle in a few days when AF shows her head.
GL Dancingdiva. There seems to be a lot of baby dust round at the moment so hopefully some of that luck comes your way.
Thanks mia! I'm excited! I remember feeling this way last month and then hubby got a nasty eye infection and needed antibiotics so we cancelled that cycle on atomic's advice.
I've already given him stern words to wash his hands before rubbing his face this month hahaha!
Thank you dancingdiva! Definitely helps! :)
Good luck this month!! Thinking blue thoughts for you!!
Hello ladies,
I posted a while ago (I think mid-December), but never really got a chance to come back – and now that my sway is in full swing and we are going to have our first attempt in about 6-8 weeks, time to get myself surrounded by the blue swayers and their vibes so I can do the best possible sway :D
Would it be ok for me to “come back”?
For a quick background – I am 32, hubby is almost 39 – we live in Australia and have 2 little girls (3.5 y.o and 17 m.o), both conceived on Clomid (I struggle ovulating) and both after a laparoscopy (I have endometriosis) .
I realise that though I thought I was doing the right thing – and am very much a boy mum (control, overplanner and co :P )- from a diet perspective I was such a girls’ mum (underweight, exercising, dieting, but yet eating too much nutrient poor sugary stuff) lol so this site has opened my eyes and can see what I did wrong previously ^^
I have just weaned my DD2 a few days ago (going well bar the sore boobs!) and saw my fertility specialist a few weeks ago – my cycles have been back fully since August but he reckons though my body gives me all the right signs (pos opks, ewcm, ovary pains, temperatures all correlate) I am actually not ovulating (or at least, I wasn’t this cycle as my prog levels were too low to indicate O). Am doing Day3 blood tests tomorrow to check how everything is going – and determine whether we will need to take action to get baby 3 on the way - he does think the weaning will do a lot of good in the right direction to get my body hopefully ovulating naturally – so crossing fingers.
I am not keen on ovulation induction via Clomid and the like – been there done that – so would love to help my body with it all whilst remaining blue friendly.
Anyways, you will soon find out I talk too much so please, do shut me up if I ramble on too much! :P
I hope to be able to be more consistent and post here often – not like my 1st attempt ^^
Cheers,
Hi LMSM!
I am new on this site but have so much enjoyed all the information in this thread and all the lovey ladies that answer my questions! My two girls are a little older then yours but have similar age gaps! Sisters are the best!! I love love love my girls bond!
Welcome!
Hi lmsm! Welcome! Feel free to ask any questions, vent about anything etc.
Speaking of venting - of course DH wakes up this morning with a random tummy bug that's got him at both ends (tmi) and running a fever. I'm doing everything I can to get the fever down (no jocks, air con/fan on, cool showers, painkillers) at least I can stay on top of that. He refused to eat anything today except for a little bit of dinner. I told him I'm not waiting another cycle, so hoping it's just a 24 bug. Bloody men! I'm the healthiest I've been and he just keeps getting sick thanks to our DD and her cesspool of diseased at day care.
Lucky I have long cycles and don't O until in the 20s.
Frustrated with him is an understatement even though it's not his fault.
So does anyone else still drink coffee? I don't really do soda, but I brew coffee every day I work (4 days a week) I normally add whole milk and some creamer I use one of those travel mugs so I think its like 16 oz, but I add a decent amount of milk and cream. Is this too much?
I drink one cup every day -- I can't give it up! BUT, I scaled it back from at least two cups a day. :)
Hi ladies and thanks for the welcome :D
MsMarie – yes, I love seeing my girls together too – they can be so darn cute (they do bicker and fight a bit too but which siblings don’t?) ! I hope they keep a strong bond as they grow older :) how old are your girls? Have you started the sway for a boy?
My youngest had a rough 24h between Sunday night and Monday night – starting with no sleep then vomiting 4 times in about as many hours– after several naps during the day, she was better – but then just before dinner she was sitting on my lap, and wanting to go get her sister she climbed down awkwardly and hurt her arm – couldn’t see anything but her inconsolable manner meant that I rushed her to the ER - she had a pulled elbow and the doc put it back in place: but her sister was the most adorable “oh darling don’t cry, it’s ok” while kissing her, she was visibly upset that her baby sister was unwell – love those two!!! :)
My new cycle has finally started last week so this is the last cycle before our attempt if all goes well – eeeeeep!
I am waiting on some blood work results that my fertility specialist ordered – so will see how that pans out – hoping it is all how it should be as I really would rather avoid treatment ^^
I think I will get onto the EPO and fish oil regime (I had only taken fish oil up until now) as that seems a good option for supporting fertility and ovulation – I will dig out the info, but I think I recall it was EPO AF-O but fish oil every day all cycle?
I’m glad you raised the topic of coffee Bommy! I still have the odd one but have cut down – it’s mostly milk anyways but admittedly I do miss it - and when I can I do decaf. Not ideal but will stop entirely (if I can manage haha) in a couple of weeks and stick to tea instead…
DancingDiva – yikes, how annoying with your hubby being sick right now – I think us Mums build up our immune systems faster with all the stuff kids bring home from daycare ..I hope it’s just a 24h thing and he’ll be back to being fit and healthy asap in time for your attempt! ;)
Have a lovely day – its’ finally cooled down here, so though it is humid because of the rain, it’s not 30+ degrees – so I can finally breathe haha
So do you guys think paleo while adding full fat dairy would be a good way to start the HE diet? I'm starting in about a week and wonder if using those principals would make it easier. I have my race tomorrow then I will be backing off running to one a week and trying to lift weights and walk 4 times a week. I hope I'm not doing any cardio.

I mean too much cardio lol

Hi Bommy!
Is Paleo essentially lots of fruit and veg, lean meats and no processed foods whatsoever?
If so, if you ensure you are eating enough (especially since you are exercising) and often enough to keep your blood sugar levels nice and stable, with some ff dairy then wouldn't be bad I dare say but maybe more weathered stayers have different views? ;)
