Right?! They're not consistently getting lighter -- the only times they have been squinters or lighter are from FMU. All my afternoon or evening tests (even before bleeding) have been stronger than FMU?Quote:

TP ive had FMU tests show up as negative and then one taken later the same day be positive with a few of my babies (tests taken several days after af due as i never get bfp till im a few days late) it seems FMU just doesnt work well for me im not sure why, but if the tests are positive and your having symptoms id say your not out yet..
what does your doctor say about all this? did your tests go negative and then return positive? im sorry your having so much confusion and stress :heart:

I am also one of those women who tells herself she won't test...but then uses up all those Amazon cheapie tests waaaay too early.
I am currently 13 dpo and just got another negative test this morning. I am driving myself nuts trying to determine if I actually have pregnancy symptoms or if it's all in my mind. I've been napping on the couch every night after dinner, even with my two boys screaming all around me. I have burning sensations near where my ovaries might be (?), fuller breasts though not painfully sensitive. Yesterday I had shooting pains in I guess what I'd call my pubic bone...and I get full really fast OR inhale a bunch of food.
** sigh ** Well, I guess I got all that out! Hoping everyone is at least a little more sane than me this month. :)

Greydore that's a very interesting (possibly exciting) dip down to coverline right on 6dpo (if that's what you are [emoji6])[emoji3]...... it is an open circle though so did you temp abit earlier than usual? Could also be a fallback rise if you're only 3dpo.... Gah your chart is going to keep me on my toes!!!!
Plasticserenity how are you feeling? I can see the testing hasn't given you a bfp as yet. What hpts are you using? You're only 11dpo so hopefully tomorrows test might be different!
Abc it's amazing how similar your chart is looking pre o wise to last cycle. Check out this mornings dip right on cd11 like last time and by the look of it the same temp [emoji16] Only two more sleeps till your scan [emoji3][emoji3] Also you dtd yesterday right? Still just using the ICs. I don't want to admit how many each day. Luckily we've had a busy weekend so it's kept me distracted but each BFN is really disappointing. I know it's only 11dpo but feels like I should have seen a BFP by now if this was my month. But can only keep testing and waiting for AF!

Gosh I am so clueless to this conceiving lark even though I have 2 beautiful girls and three miscarriages! So I'm 3dpo (as per ff and +opk) I'm on a little trip with my mam for the weekend in 2 weeks so was planning to wait to test (If af doesn't show) on cd17 but it will be afternoon when I fly in. Could i test in early eve or should I wait for cd18 am? God i hope for bfp!

Dreaming you can test anytime of the day once af is due :) Just try and limit fluids for an hour or so prior. It's only if your testing before this that fmu is best as its usually the most concentrate. By af due or after there should be enough hcg in your system to show a definate positive even with diluted urine but I'd still try and limit fluids for that short time prior.

Yes 10dpo is a good place to start but with a sensitive test like an frer or wondfo. Frer are by far the most sensitive. As an example frers have been known to pick up as little as 6.5mIU whereas most of your over the counter tests pick up 20-25mIU. Wondfos are also quite sensitive. Many people use them first as they are cheap then confirm with an frer if they see something. Frer = first response early result

Yes that can be a sign of pregnancy but most peoples af would have been due before 18dpo. There are different patterns in temps that can be very promising but definately not a guarantee. Maintained elevated temps is one pattern yes, but there are people who's temps dont drop before af and stay elevated until af finishes then drop back to usual pre o temp range. Triphasic charts are also promising. Triphasic meaning three distinct levels of temps, pre o, temps post o then usually another maintained rise following implantation. Some people experience what's referred to as an implantation dip. However a secondary estrogen surge can also cause a temp dip around the same time (6-10dpo). From what I've observed though, the temps that dip almost down to or below coverline on your chart (coverline being the horizontal line of your red cross) are the most promising. I personally wouldn't get too excited about a dip smaller than this. Another pattern is a sustained rise of little fluctuation in temps. So like a tight zigzag pattern. These are 'some' examples of cause for excitement BUT I've seen some very pretty charts end in a bfn so that's all it really is, a possible promising sign but definately not a guarantee.

Pbn3, I am using these cheapie pregnancy strips from Amazon. I bought them for ovulation, but it came with 20 pregnancy tests. I only have 3 or 4 left. :)
I am not sure when af is due. I got a positive opk ovulation test on November 6, so that's...13 days ago. But I have really long cycles, and I'm 41. I had a chemical pregnancy in August, so I'm just generally nervous. Trying to take lots of B-complex and magnesium to help with pregnancy and calm my ass down, tho. :) My Ovia app says my period's not due for another week, but that seems kind of crazy to me.
Greydore, I'll test again tomorrow and let y'all know. And I hope your kiddo (and mine) sleeps in tomorrow! You know, at least till 7 am. :)

Oh haha that's true! I did take temp about 20 min earlier this morning than normal - woke up randomly before my alarm went off. I started getting EWCM today which last cycle I recorded starting on CD11 too!!! My body is definitely very consistent!Quote:

Tested again this morning at 12dpo and they are still as white as white can be. And my temp is starting to come down now, heart rate is coming down, and I think I had a tiny bit of spotting last night which I'm thinking is my first early sign of AF. Feels like I'm out to be honest! But still keeping fingers crossed for all you other ladies in this thread!Quote:

14 dpo here and also stark as can be bfn. Back is starting to ache and cramp, so I suspect I'm out, too. Crazy how convinced I was that my symptoms were a bfp -- I wish the 2ww didn't actually last two weeks!

BacktoSchool that was me last cycle! It was so bad. I had round ligament pain, tingly boobs, lower back pain, and cramping off and on. It was so convinced I just had to be pregnant- nope! Haha. I feel nothing at all this cycle though, so who knows?

Yes! My oldest was an oops, so I obviously wasn’t symptom spotting and only tested because I realized I missed my period, I didn’t feel any different. My second we were trying so I tested early, but I had zero symptoms. That luteal phase progesterone can really mess with you!Quote:

TP It's totally unfair how your body is messing you about. When I had my mc it was missed at 6 weeks and I didn't find out until 12 I then was still testing positive for weeks after that too. Felt like my body had let me down and those bfps were heartbreaking to see every week. Hope you get some answers and everything works out for you, goodness knows you deserve it x

Pbn Dh will be at the hospital on Thursday. Not sure how long results take, but his urology nurse (who referred him for the S.A.) gave us her number so I'm sure she will tell us the results.

I'm on day 4 of flashing smiley on dual OPK. I've got a big zit forming on my chin and a lot of EWCM - so O is coming. Expecting I'll get +opk tomorrow - on the day I usually get it (CD13), and my ultrasound is in the morning!!
I read that if you get a spot on one side of your chin at O that's the side you have ovulated from?!?
Happylea has posted some u/s pics for guesses. She was told boy but is doubting the tech if anyone wants a look to help her out!
