Anyone else with a scan tomorrow good luck and new bfps congrats. Sorry been knee deep in wrapping and still really tired so haven't been posting much. Also ds3 is going through a 'I won't go to sleep without mummy or daddy' time and I am not good at controlled crying although I do need to do something soonish I think!!!

Morning ladies - how is everyone today ?

Ive got my private scan in an hour and to say im scared is an understatement - i have come on here for distraction only to find the board really quiet !! I should be back by 12-1pm ( its now 10.30am) so I will come back and let you know how I got on.... Good or Bad.

3boys, I hope you are ok. If I'm not mistaken you had to go to hospital on Saturday right? How are things going? Hope you will be ok soon dear.

Just wanted to say MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU WONDERFUL LADIES! Hope you will spend a peaceful, beautiful day with your loved ones. I won't probably have time to come over here tomorrow so I'm sending my best wishes to you all now.

STRANGE !!! The baby with a heartbeat has sadly stopped growing at 3.6mm and its heartbeat stopped but the under developed embryo is now 13.8mm and has a heartbeat so they kind of swapped roles. Im gutted we lost 1 of them but am also glad we have 1 rather than nothing which is how it could have come out if this one hadnt fought to make it.
I think ill still worry until 12 weeks but the tech seemed to think everything would be ok and that by 12 weeks the other twin will have just dissapeard all together - another reason im glad i went as its the only photo ill have showing that they were infact twins. I have reallys uffered with GD but as soon as i saw 1 had died i instantly thought - I bet its the girl!! I felt awful afterwards for thinking it but i was sure they were boy girl twins and i just thin k now we will have our 4th boy but hey im trying not to think about it as there have been so many sad stories on here lately that im just so thankful we have 1 baby full stop regardless of its sex.

So happy you have one healthy bean. And now you have a nice photo to show your LO later in life. Try not to worry about gender just yet. (I know, easier said than done.)

Is everyone getting excited for Christmas? What do you ladies do Christmas Eve?
This evening we will put a Christmas movie on and eat finger foods, like meatballs, shrimp etc.

10 DAYS TILL MY ULTRASOUND! Next Thursday isn't coming fast enough lol
