October 2013 babies!

In 12 hours I'll be at my ultrasound. I'm taking DS1 with me and I think he's going to love it.

I had my scan and ended up taking my 7 year old DS1 because he was hone sick from school. Everything went well and baby looks perfectly healthy but we didn't find out gender. DH really doesn't want to know so we didn't ask. I did get a quick look when they measured the legs at the very start and I thought it looked girly but couldn't get a proper look. I thought I'd just study the DVD when we got home but that part was missing off the recording :-/

So i still don't know. In some ways not knowing it's a bit of a relief though.

Katie good luck at your scan, I hope DS enjoys it. My DS looked pretty concerned the whole way through but I think he was just a bit worried about the baby.

Good luck ELP, will you be finding out gender?

Im gonna see if I can see:) I think?? lol. I'm sure its a boy??? But would be gutted to get a pink or inconclusive guess from the tech! So I still dont know:bigsmile: Ive kept my eldest DD14, off of school to come along as she was furious we are having a new one so maybe this will chill her a bit:)

Back from scan and its a boy!! I let my eldest decide if we'd find out and she said yes and we have got baby Dave a little friend:bigsmile: I have not haf 2 boys close in age, the nearest is neatly a 3 yr gap so Im excited to have to toddler blues to raise together. This does also meen that I will probably keep going as the boys are on a roll but thats a journey for another day lol:bigsmile:

I've been very down in the dumps the past week. It's awful. I'm not sure if its because my ultrasound is this week or what. DH asked me last night if maybe we shouldn't find out, but I think that wouldn't be good for me. I didn't find out w DS2 and could not attach with him when he was born for quite a while. That was brutal. I just don't know how I am going to get through this. :(

Lld this LO will be no10 for us:oops: Balancing things out, to 5 of each:) I was sure when I had my 1st that that was it! Silly me:)
Would you be able to keep it a secret from DH if you secretly found out??

Lld, I've just had a look at yout nt scan and I dont think there is a full nub there for guessing off, and your potty shot is either extremely boy or cord! If that is cord then if you take it away the area is very bumpless:) I think you should try and convince DH to find out for you. Especially if you know he wont have any dg, then it would be better for you and bump to bond easier this time maybe:agree:

Duncan is still definitely Duncan!! And guess what?? I'm okay with it. I was so happy and just enjoyed the whole scan. He's measuring a few days ahead still and is above average in size. I still have not gained any weight, but the doctor isn't concerned. She said if the baby was small she might be worried, but he's nice and big and has a very strong heart beat.
