So lol they checked my cervix yesterday at my dr appointment and as I expected she’s snug and comfy in there! Lol no dilation and she floated right back up as soon as the dr checked! Lol just like her siblings won’t come Until they pull her out in 3 weeks!

Mommy2apples, have fun at your baby showers this weekend! Oh I’m soooo with you on wishing I could sleep through these last 3 weeks! Yesterday I had a little scare. I feel silly about it now knowing that it wasn’t the real thing. I was sitting on the floor cleaning up my toddlers toys with him, and talking on the phone with my DH, and I felt a gush of fluid randomly squirt out of me that went through my underwear and my pants and left a small wet circle about the size of a small pancake. It was clear watery fluid and had no smell. Both DH and I thought my water must’ve broken when I sent him a picture of it, but we waited to see what would happen next and nothing happened and I didn’t have any more leakage so I guess it was just nothing. I have no idea what it was. I know it wasn’t Pee, must’ve just been watery vaginal discharge in a larger quantity then I normally have...

Ellirosanne did you tell your Dr?? Get it checked anyway for piece of mind x

I’d get it checked too Ellirosanne and don’t ever feel silly! Eek how soon we will be holding these beautiful girls! I’m excited for the baby showers as I sure didn’t expect the church or my mil to throw one, but I’m really excited.

Aww I've never had a baby shower, bet they are fun!

I’m always kind of jealous when I see baby shower pictures. The only one I had was with my first. MIL threw it and then only invited her friends. I didn’t know any of them. They used it as an opportunity to socialize and drink wine while ignoring me. I didn’t really get any baby gifts either, just a few receiving blankets. I found out later she didn’t even mail invites to any of my friends or coworkers despite asking for their info. She made the whole thing into an “I’m going to be a grandma” party. I was so turned off by the whole thing I haven’t wanted to even bother with a baby shower ever since.

Lol I feel ya [emoji23] I have like one friend left from high school! [emoji23] about four or five members coming from my side, and then the eat is family from my husbands side. It’s okay though, I like everyone. Lol

My family didn't even come to dd5s christening. They all had an excuse; and Dh doesn't have any family so it was us, the kids, my best friend, his friend and friends partner. Probably be the same this time round too.

Babyboybleu, there’s literally been nothing since and I can feel amniotic fluid move around when I push around babies, so I know there’s a lot in there. :)

Babyboybleu, gosh, I can’t bekive you’ve never had a baby shower! You poor thing! Is it a cultural thing?

Bunnygirl, you poor thing! What an awful experience! That’s not at all how baby showers are supposed to be! I wish we all lived closer so I could throw both you and babyboybleu a baby shower! A fun one!

Yeah they only became popular in the UK a few years ago but I've never actually heard of anyone having them apart from celebrities

My favorite part at night is laying awake and feeling her move inside of me It gives me such reassurance and not going to lie. I panicked when she’s not moving. Although I know she is a promise from the lord and he never breaks his promises.

I’m 30 weeks now and feeling so unprepared for another baby. This pregnancy has gone by way too fast. I can’t believe I only have a max of 8 weeks left and realistically likely only 5 more weeks given my past history.

Bunnygirl, I’ve occasionally felt that way earlier on in this pregnancy, but I can reassure you, the time seems to slow way down at the end and you are more than ready by then! Lol

Agree with Ellirosanne it’s really started to slow down for me like time is standing still now that I’m 36 weeks, I mean usually the end of the month has already came and passed us up by now!

The church babyshower was so nice and the food was yummy too! We had strawberry shortcake cupcakes! So yummy! That’s my favorite! The cupcake lady is bringing me Reese cupcakes to the hospital after I have Emmalyn Grace! [emoji18]love that lady!

Mommy2apples, yummy! Those both sound so good! I’m glad your baby showers went so swimmingly! I’m feeling kind of crappy. I had loose stools all day yesterday, must’ve eaten something off. Anyways, they triggered my hemorrhoids and blew them up into National Geographic baboon bubble butt size, and they were so painful I actually sat on the toilet sobbing. I couldn’t even clean myself up the normal way, had to shower, and maintain odd rinsing positions to get all my bits gently cleansed. It was awful! I used meds and wore a pad to bed with tucks layered on them but I’m still so sore this morning I can barely sit. I’ve been a little bit mildly nauseated all weekend and more so this morning, like in the beginning of pregnancy. I’m feeling sooooo done with this pregnancy! I start NSTS today... and have a growth scan today as well. 18 more days to go, I can do this!

Oh Ellirosanne! ☹️I’m so sorry you are having a miserable time ☹️hemorrhoids are the worse and unfair. Then the sickness on top of it. Prayers you get relieve and soon!

I think I just feel so overwhelmed and unprepared because there is a lot of cleaning and rearranging that still needs to be done in the house and my husband is no help. He’s rarely ever home to begin with, and when he is, he thinks other things are more important. I’m supposed to be taking it easy so I’ve resigned myself to it not getting done.

I’m sorry bunnygirl wish your dh was more of help. Hopefully he will kick it into gear before she comes!

Bunnygirl, we have the exact same dynamic. I try not to complain though because he works really long hard hours.

Ok ladies, yesterday was an adventure and I’m still trying to process everything. First I went for my NST. When I got there my blood pressure was like 120’s over 86. The nurse said she’d give me some time to relax before rechecking it. Then I had my ultrasound, and we hadn’t rechecked it yet. We had forgotten. The girls looked great on the NST. Anyways, Chloe is 5 lbs 2 oz and Clarissa is 4 lbs 9 oz. they did measurements of everything and Clarissa’s abdomen is only measuring in the 1 percentile. They were concerned, and here’s where it goes beyond my expertise. They did comparisons from her previous scans, to plot her growth, and did Doppler studies of the blood flow between me and the girls. Then the perinatologist came in and said she was concerned because Clarissa’s growth has slowed down and she officially has fetal growth restriction, and here’s where I do t fully understand, she has some minimal diastolic flow problem. I don’t know how to explain it but from googling, it’s not a good thing. She said based on the ultrasound results, it’s not to the point they need to be delivered immediately, butcshe would like to move my induction date up to the 22nd, which is not this Friday but the next. She said she wants to minister the growth and diastolic flow closely and so I’m scheduled for a follow up NST, dr apt, and ultrasound the day after tomorrow. So upon the heels of that news, the nurse remembered the blood pressure and of course then it was so high because I was so stressed out. So she gave me tine to relax and some crackers and water and retook it. It was still elevated. She waited longer and retook it. When it was still elevated, she called the Ob on call and they decided to send me to l and d so they could do serial blood pressures and draw some lab work. My blood pressures were elevated the whole time I was there but my labs came back all normal except my serum protein creatinine ratio was slightly elevated. They were going to let me go but then Chloe had a prolonged heart rate delceleration out of the blue. It scared me when I heard it so my heart rate flew up to the 150’s. Chloe’s heart rate recovered and we never figured out what caused it, but my heart rate never dropped below 120’s. It hung out in the 140’s for like an hour, so the dr decided I was getting stressed out watching the girls on the monitor, and turned it off and wIted a while to recheck my heart rate. When they discharged me it was 127. He told me go home and go to bed and to stay on kind of bed rest. They sent me home with the collection kit to collect my urine for 24 hours so we can check run some more definitive lab work to evaluate me. So here I am, trying to take things easy and pee in a container all day lol.my induction is officially on the boooks for 7:30 Pm Friday evening the 22nd. So Netflix, here I come lol. I’m super worried after googling everything when I got home. My mom is going to drive down Thursday so I do t have to go to it all alone since my guy works. The funny thing is he’s the Ob on call Thursday night, which is when I’d get sent to the hospital if things look worse at the follow up ultrasound. He said he has a feeling there’s a very good chance I’ll get sent in Thursday for induction. I’ve got to get a bag packed! He said his gut feeling is that I’m at the early stages of developing pre eclampsia. Please keep us in your prayers :)

I forgot to mention, when we got home, DH checked my cervix, and I’m a good solid 2 cm and he said Chloe’s head is super low and engaged

Ellirosanne!! I know it's not the best news and you are scared but those babies are gonna be just fine. You are being checked closely and the Drs wouldn't put them at risk. NO MORE GOOGLE!!!! (I'm the worst for googling too lol) take it easy while you can, before long you will not have a minute with TWO gorgeous babies to look after!

How far along are you know Ellie? I had growth restriction with one of my twins, but the bigger concern was growth discordance. She was still growing, but much more slowly and was significantly smaller than her twin. I had them at 32 weeks. Baby A was 4 lb 1 oz and Baby B was 2 lb 15 oz.
