I waited until 9dpo to even test, but that was a cheapie too. It was negative at when you are supposed to read it, but when i went back hours later there was a squinter, probably evap. Then the next morning it was obviously a faint line and a line on a FRER.Quote:

It's definitely possible it could be a legit line even at 8dpo. Very, very early for pos on a cheapie but not impossible.

Unintentionally in the tww- not meant to ttc until June but dh did not pull out in time and now I'm having ewcm and cramps so very well might be ovulating shortly.

Just had a month off diet and exercise and temping for our holidays after 1 year on it and now this.
Trying to stay positive but after one sway opposite already it's hard.
Fingers crossed you all get your bfps and I maybe get some more time on diet and exercise before mine x

Hi and welcome kittendreams! I have seen so many 'oopsies' result in girl that I would be feeling quite hopeful if you do get a bfp. Plus after a year on the diet, I cant imagine one month would make a 'major' difference? Maybe letting go is exactly what you needed [emoji3] And it would be only one attempt right?! So what will your attempt end up being if you are about to o?

It will be 3-4 days before o- the attempt was pm on cd 16 and My o date is cd 19-20 so not great odds but I am super fertile so it's possible!
I have no idea what came over dh! It was the last day of our holidays and he'd had a bit to drink I actually had to pull him out sorry tmi!!! We've been using withdrawal method successfully for 12 years! I couldn't believe it. I had even said to him earlier in the day I think I might be ovulating soon due to increased cm.
We had not had sex for ages ( camping with two little boys lol) and he said it had been over a week since he'd released so we had abstain in our favour but also not good either since he is 38.
Trying to be zen but it's so hard!
Today is cd 18 heaps of cramps and ewcm so just waiting to o eek!
Is there anything I can do now to sway girl? I ridiculously started back on diet and exercise yesterday hoping that would help lol!

kittendreams - Welcome! Oh my goodness we have a lot of similarities between us! I've been swaying a year now as well - except with a few "breaks" as over that time I've had 3 pregnancies that ended in early miscarriages. My last one was in early March and I've been back on the diet (although not as strict) for the past 4 weeks or so and DH and I had an "oops" on Friday night (which never happens as we are very careful when not ttc!), and we were not planning on trying until next month or even June so I could be back on the diet longer and get Clomid again. I think I probably O-ed today so our attempt will be O-4 but I too am super fertile and get pregnant very easily. He also had abstained for 7 days (he's almost 35), so all of this has me very nervous too! :) I also have two little boys!
I've become more zen over it in the past day or so though - as I told the ladies on here yesterday if it happens I'm going to believe it was meant to be and if it doesn't, I'll be relieved and we'll go back to our plan :) I really don't think in my case it'll happen this time anyways. But as Pbn said, lots of "oopsies" here have resulted in girls!
You are very welcome here!! I've been on the TTC/TWW wait board since last July - although I don't plan on really leaving it if/when I am pregnant as I love following everyone's TTC journey!!
Welcome, kittendreams! I will keep my fingers crossed that your ovulation is delayed this month, although as many people said you still have decent chance of a girl. And spontaneity / not cleaning could be in your favor there. As for Girl Diet after the attempt, I think atomic suggest keeping true to the diet for a week after the attempt because it may help with implantation for a girl. Does anybody else remember details on that? I'm in the week after my attempt and I'm trying to stick to the diet to keep those chances of a girl as high as possible.Quote:

Guys, I'm posting this probably throughout the forums, but for anyone that's followed my story: we just found out DH does NOT have a varicocele. He must have misunderstood his initial urologist appointment? Urologist thinks all the sperm issues are from the high heat he occasionally has worked with at work or that and a combination of genetics. So... pretty much no fix beyond the homeopathic stuff I've been doing on him (like icing).
I'm pretty gutted; there's no "fix." Urologist referred us onto an even more specialized urologist, who we can't see until the end of May.
DH also just tore into me. Said he's going to start biking and running again (which first we avoided because of sway reasons, then we did when our RE also recommended against it). Said to go eff myself.
I'm exhausted.

TP - Wow! I'm so sorry about all you are still having to go through and the frustration of of it all!! I mean it's good news that it's not a varicocole, in that he won't need to have surgery, right? And you said he was reluctant to the idea of having it anyways, yea? But without a clear fix I'm sure that's still really frustrating. And then how he reacted to you today... :( Do you think inside he's feeling guilty about his sperm issues and he's just acting out in anger b/c of it? Can you repeat any of the sperm testing to see if his sperm health has improved? I'm hoping that all you've been doing has helped improve it and you'll fall pregnant with a healthy sperm & egg! Were you able to temp today to see if you ovulated?

Well my temps are still ridiculously low so it looks like I may be having a long delay after LH surge again. I pretty much have no CM too which is odd if I haven't ovulated yet. I've had a stressful couple of days - I wonder if that threw things off, or with all the screwed up hormones post-m/c & the big cyst on my right ovary, maybe I wont O at all this cycle? It's very weird. I'm on CD18 and never, ever O that late.
Thanks everyone, I would have said the test was dodgy but I did 4 and they all had the same faint line. Still spotting brown when I wipe and feel crampy like AF. I don't know what's going on. Will test with a frer tomorrow if I haven't started bleeding. Am very fed up!
Sorry to hear that about DH Tp. I have similar issues with my other half and I find the best thing is to let him get his own way for a while and then slowly get what I want when he's feeling happier. That being said, I can't get him to take any sort of vitamins that might help us conceive. And In fact, he is still pretty reluctant to even try. It's frustrating.
ABC, my cycles have been odd since my loss so maybe it's normal to ovulate later? Although I seem to remember that your body is pretty good at getting back to normal after, is that right?

My nausea hit me like a train last weekend and everything feels sooo exhausting right now, even such ridiculous things like writing messages on my phone. My scan was today and we saw the heartbeat! It should be but Amazon have just emailed to say it's going to be two days late!! Grrr. I do usually spot before af but it changes every month, sometimes one day before, sometimes even four or five days before. It's usually dark red spotting though, not this brown colour
