Congrats Raining, so lovely to get some good news ♡
The doc who did my CVS is super experienced and told me there would be some bleeding. I have had some bleeding. more than spotting but not super heavy. So I am worried, even though everything is likely fine.
Heartbeat was 179, so thats good and the scan looked good. FX I am not the 1 in 1000 who miscarry after this procedure.

Congrats on your little girl raining, that is fantastic news:happy:
Good luck Eighme and Gafan. Hope you both hear pink :fingers:
Congrats Raining, wonderful news:HH:
Gafan i hope bleeding stopped, think of u:heart:
I called and they want me to come in for an ultrasound. It is probably fine, and checking will help me worry less.

Hoping everything is ok Gafan. That is a really strong (girly :P!) heartbeat, so hoping all is well for you <3
Do ladies have any energy? I keep hearing "Oh, in this x amount of weeks/time you'll feel great." WHERE IS MY MAGICAL SECOND TRIMESTER? [emoji12] I am a revolving door of "today this is wrong." I swear my pregnancy with my son was not this hard.
Sorry ladies. I feel like I complain in here more than not. This pregnancy has just kicked my butt and I am so ready for some relief.

Eighme i have a lot of energy, i washed all windows in big house and i did big cleaning:D but now i have pain of my back:(
The scan showed baby is fine. I have a subchorionic hematoma. So I might start bleeding more now or at a different time in pregnancy. It might interfere with baby's blood supply but might not. They said lots of women have this, and they didn't seem alarmed.
Has anyone else experienced a subchorionic hematoma?

I’m so waiting for that magical second trimester too!! Absolutely no energy and honestly my constant bathroom breaks are the only exercise I’m getting. I feel like I’ll hit the third trimester and still never have gotten that energy burst. I have no idea how we’re going to get the house or nursery ready...
I'm glad ( not really glad, but you know) someone else is feeling the same. You and I seem to be on the same wave length syptoms wise! Hoping this gets better for us soon.
My poor husband has seriously had to take on just about everything because I am so exhausted and sore.

Mamabird in the October due date group has this - you might ask her, or atomic, as I think she knows a lot about those too! I think a lot of ladies on here have had this. It's been a scary situation for Mamabird (she's been on bedrest), but last I heard baby is doing well.
Glad baby is ok!!!!
Eighme I feel the same. Still so nauseous and exhausted. I’m supposed to be starting to feel better soon. This pregnancy has by far been the most difficult so far. My skin is a mess, hair is falling out, I look horrible. All worth it! You’re not alone though! Vent away!
Gafan, just to give you some reassurance, you can have a healthy Bub at the other end of a SCH.
I had one with both DD2 and dd3, and they resolved enough by 20 weeks that all was ok but do try to take it easy. Bleeding can happen, and may not be a bad sign, merely the SCH draining itself which is actually good. Mine never did but still had healthy girls born at term. Fx!,
Haha, we actually have very French names picked out for a boy -- and we've had one in particular we will name our first boy no matter what at this point! And we're not even French, just very influenced by French and French-descended philosophers and writers :)
Love the names you ladies are sharing though. I'm such a name nerd.
And SCHs -- yes, I'm glad ABD mentioned Mamabird! Hers was so bad they thought she was even losing the baby :( -- but now she is quickly approaching term and is scheduled for 37 weeks I believe! I think we've had a fair few SCH mamas here. I know we had someone have one so bad that she was on bedrest for the majority of her pregnancy, but she gave birth to her healthy boy and updated us awhile back! I think the only recommendation is if you are on any blood thinners or baby aspirin to stop/wean those, otherwise SCHs can often resolve and are fine on bed rest and most likely lead to healthy delivery!
Just jumping on here for gafan on the sch topic.
Yes it's very scary but from what I have learned it's very common and it's really the location and overall size of the Sch that matters. Bc mine is behind the placenta and caused a part to detach.. and bc it did not clear up at 20 weeks this is higher risk. Mine luckily hasn't grown from the 5cm (which is considered smaller in size) and only a very small part of placenta lifted not affecting baby at all. I did go on full bedrest for over 5 weeks and have been on pelvic rest my entire pregnancy.
I am now 33 weeks and will have her in less then 28 days!! I demanded more ultrasounds and tests though bc I was terrified.
I will say this... they will not take you seriously until you get to viability (24 weeks). Unfortunately there is nothing they can do before then so drs seem to push us off with our concerns.
But honestly your sch size is smaller and depending on location you should be just fine. Just take it easy for a little bit and up your water intake. I was drinking a lot of water to help heal the sch.
Praying for you and little baby!! Here for you with any questions.

Eighme, I agree!! I hope we all get to feeling better! I will say, you look EXACTLY like my best friend in the whole wide world in your profile picture, so I’m not surprised we’re twinkies lol!
Fx!!!:cheer:
Yeah, I feel that doctors say not to worry when there is nothing they can do. I am a little confused at their conflicting instructions. one doc told me pelvic rest this week and while bleeding and another said pelvic rest until at least 20 weeks. At least they were both clear about no strenuous exercise. I will rest, stay extra hydrated, and stay on pelvic rest until at least my Oct. 1 checkup.
Thank you for your support. You are so close to getting to meet your little one, how exciting!

Good luck to those of you finding out gender soon. I should know within an hour if my dreams are shattered. Can't stop shaking this morning. Finally very real that I will know for sure today. Trying to prepare myself to see/hear boy but know I will just burst into tears. I hope the tech is understanding, would rather they write it down for me but I know they won't as it's against hospital policy.
Good luck Kelbear!!
Just came out of my scan. Baby still small and something unusual with placenta but working ok for now. Will have to have scans every 4 weeks.
Asked to check gender.... can't believe it but it's a GIRL!!! I'm still in shock and shaking.
Kelbear - OMG!!! SO EXCITING!!!! HUGE congrats!!!! I hope everything is ok with the placenta and size (do they have any thoughts on what's going on?), but YAY! So happy for you!
Ahhhhhhh!!!!! Congrats!!!
