Yes, I have been the last two days. Yesterday was darker than today's. They were both fainter than when I got the original BFP.
crossing everything it's just dodgy tests!
Yay for af, Hope!! :luck:
Hi Boompink..welcome :)
Sis4O~ I really hope thats not whats happening. Keep us posted. I will pray for you...:HH:
Rainbowflower~ how are you feeling? Enjoying food I hope. I'm jealous!!
not always true.
i never had any symptoms other than spotting which started at 6 weeks, 2 weeks of bloods, scans etc, and still couldnt figure out what was going on, in the end they had to do a laparoscopy, thats the only reason they found it.
i lost my right tube, if it was found earlier , they may have been able to save it.
sorry im really not trying to cause worry or stress or anything, but i have been there, and i know how serious it can be, and i really think its something that should be rulled out sooner rather than later.
Sis i really hope its just some dodgey tests or something, sending lots of sticky dust your way...:hug2:
Kraizy, good luck, fingers crossed you caught that eggie!!!:cheerteam:
Hi lemon! did you attempt this last cycle. Mine attempt is coming up cannot wait!
CD38. :(
I WILL call the doctor on Monday...
H&D citirizine is a different form of antihistamine than zyrtec hun,
I'm going to keep going just to make sure I have the best chance of catching that egg!! Plus, I know the follicle on the left ovary was behind the right so maybe that will go too and give me two chances, don't know if that's how it works though!! I'm not happy with my timing but I do want to get pregnant now, it's been a long time and I've had enough, I'm just going to keep my fx for the bonus of a girl at this point!!!
Why are you ladies taking clomid?
suregena ive always used cheapie net tests and ive never have one fail to show my surge hun, maybe you just didnt ovulate because of all the weight you have lost ?
im taking clomid because i dont normally ovulate on my own,
how much weight have you lost hun since being on the diet ?
Since now I am aiming for May/June, I have to come up with the best way to approach those months to prep my body to make sure my cycle is regular and not freaked out. One thing I was considering is taking the vitex (once my period returns...) in the two weeks on, two weeks off period so it has time to sort of not freak my body out, if that makes sense? To have the benefit of it around TTC without my body being thrown off too much. Any input into that, ladies?
I am also going to start drinking RRL tea soon daily, maybe, and also keep taking my folic acid. I'll not have my husband take the licorice root until it's the month of TTC (he took it 6 weeks solid the last time!) but we'll still do FR and multiple attempts, because I just gotta get pregnant this year! Ideally those months (pleasepleaseplease!)
I now have a BBT, etcetera, so maybe I should start charting my temps when AF returns, i.e. after it finishes, to create a "view" of how my cycle works? Is that a good idea?
Anyway, just rambling...
I started at 115 or thereabouts and around the time of "supposed" ovulation (since I don't really know now) I was 103...
So, maybe too much, too fast.
I didn't NEED to lose weight, considering I'm already lower than the weight I was with conceiving my son, and I am the sort of ideal BMI, but, you know!
I started the diet, with a lot of cheating at the start because of the season, around the first/second week of December.
I'm now eating half and half, though. Been eating my diet lunches as normal at work but dinners have been mostly whatever my husband and son are eating. I'm still hovering around 107, though.
i think you may find thats the answer hun JMO, the vitex did great for me it made me O both times the first time 15 days after last pill and the 2nd 13 days after last pill, if i dont get pregnant with the 3 months i have on clomid il def use it again !
Suregena~I think temping in your months off is a great idea. I watches my cycle for months before attempting and knew my cycles pretty well. It does always seem that it's different when you attempt, but I think it's a great idea nonetheless
Suregena, temping sounds great to me!
i was temping every month as soon as my son was born.
i was using it as a method of contraception, since im not allowed to use any hormone based ones, so by charting i could avoid my fertile times every month.
also figured it would be a good idea to know exactly what my body was doing, so that when we tried again we would have a better shot at pink.
I used to work in a drugstore and citrizine is the same thing as the active ingredient in Zyrtec and generic Zyrtec.
Yes! I ALWAYS temp without fail, even if I am sick or maybe didn't get enough sleep. I feel much more secure in what my body is doing and it's really kind of interesting to see sometimes how stress can affect ovulating (temp gears up for O and then drops back down if your body isn't ready).
If anyone can offer me some "temping schooling" (heeh) I'll start temping as soon as it's time and have a look at what my cycles are doing. I AM STILL WAITING FOR AF. Just the most bizarre thing. But, anyway, once it starts and ends, I'll start temping!
Suregena~ I temp in the mouth same place everytime. Under my tongue on the left side. MY bbt is on my nightstand- the second I wake up (typically same time each day, and if time is off by a little here and there I don't worry about it) I just hit the button, place under my tongue and wait the 3 minutes for it to beep that its done. My kids know I am not miving till its done! Then I put reading in my iphone FF app (i never even look at FF on line!). Thats it. I like having a reason to lay there for a few more mins snug in my bed! I usually sleep great so thats not a problem for me, and if I've gotten up to go to the bathroom or something like 4am or something and I get up at 7am it never has effected the reading. I take the temp usually around 7am or thereabout. Hope that helps!
cd 5 for me today 4th clomid tab too, and boy did me and my DH have a row or what !! over something silly but it was def a bad one, so im sure my T levels went through the roof !!! hope it doesnt inpact my sway at all ? i think the clomid is making me more frustrated and tense this time around !
This looks like a pretty decent article: The ABCs of Basal Body Temperature Charting at the Preconception (Trying to Conceive, TTC, Fertility, Pregnancy Planner) Cubby at StorkNet
I really loved the Taking Charge of Your Fertility book...and I've had to re-buy it twice because I can't seem to get people to give it back to me!
i always temp if im up at 7.30am or 8.30am as it alternates through the week and i always get a clear chart of when i ovulate so i def recommend doing it !
Suregena - Ya definitely temp. It just confirms ovulation occured. I always temp every morning around 6-7 am. Usually the day after or two days after I think I o'ed I get a temp spike and I know I am in the clear and o is over. It just makes you feel better knowing that the +opk was right and you did o.
I was thinking to even bd til my confirmed temp spike this month just to make sure. Don't wanna chance missing it.
On cd7 -- 10 more days til o and 1 more week til we start our attempts. Wahoo! I kinda can't wait to be in my 2ww. We are gonna dtd 10-11 times in 3 days. Sperm count so low, using rephresh, little bit sylk and replens here and there to make sure ph stays low. No j&d ever-- I need to get pg this month! Meat is calling my name...I wanna eat again!!!
Just to throw my 2 cents in here - my thinking is that if someone ALREADY temps, that's great. But for people who don't temp and for whom it is a new "project" to take on, it has the potential to raise testosterone and feed swaying obsession to have those little numbers there to obsess over. So for those who don't temp, now is not the time to start!!
i think you will be fine suregena, you have a couple months to obsess over the details before go time...:)
i use FF, they are great, they do all the hard work for you.
all you have to do is record the stuff, they work everything else out.
i have my thermometer next to my bed, so i dont even have to move to reach it.
and i take my temp as soon as i wake up, sometimes the time could vary especially when i was breastfeeding, some nights, when he was first born, i would probably only get about 4-5 hours sleep a night, and even though temps may have been out a a bit, they were still accurate enough to see a solid pattern.
if you like you can view my charts here,

might give you an idea on what it covers etc.
I'm suppossed to take clomid for first time tomorrow. 50mg doc never said morning or night? Thoughts what has everyone done? Does it matter? Could call doc in am just wondering...
