I think that is a good way of telling. If you(in general) dont want bad comments then show yourself positive because then there is really nothing they can say that is negative (not that there is anyhting negative with several kids of same gender but you all know how people can be)Quote:

All good words of advice, thank you so much! I just can't decide whether to "go public." My family was all "congrats" but not very excited if you know what I mean. I know we all hoped girl so I understand and see how they don't react with crazy happy congrats. Maybe that's just what afraid of...that this baby won't be "anything special" since he's a third boy. Breaks my heart. But overall I am doing pretty well...with an exception to the apprehension of telling people. Finding out at 12 weeks probably saved me even more heartache. I'm excited to start the nursery at the end of the summer. :)
Here are some potential names...would love to know what you all think. Cooper, Tate, Rhylan (although I think this may be "feminine" so it is probably out), Madden, Grayson, and I just adore Mason, but it is #5 on the social security list so I think I'd just be setting him up to blend in with that name. I'd love suggestions, too!
One last thing...at my 12 week scan the tech said my placenta is posterior, then at my 20 week they told me it is anterior. WEIRD! I feel the baby a lot so I am shocked it is anterior.
I just want to send a sincere thank you out to all of the moms on this site who congratulated me on my girl and wished me well! It means even more coming from all of you knowing many of you aren't getting the girl you were initially hoping for, and yet you are still so happy for me. You ladies are awesome. :Flower:

Especially with the names you have listed there where they are not the more traditional names and could go either way I think its just what you feel happy with.
And no matter which number boy he will still be special. My DS3 is so funny and is so much like his Dad as a child with the things he does that his grabbed himself a special place in DH families heart because he reminds them so much of a little DH.
I love the name Tate. It's on my short list for a little man but not sure if my husband likes it as much as I do. I also have Xavier, Zachary, Isaac, Vaughn, and Archie on my list. I have tons of names for a little lady but the front runners are Liliana, Isla, Amelia or Sienna. My scan is on Wednesday so the list will be cut in half then! Feeling super nervous about finally knowing-hoping and praying that being the lucky last scan of this group will be lucky and I will hear pink! Fingers and toes crossed!Quote:
