Hey ladies haven't been on for a while and so much chat too much to read! Hope your all keeping well and bumps are growing well.
I knew I was having a girl already, but had harmony results back this week that confirmed girl and all low risk. So so pleased.

Great news Bambi!! Congrats!!
Mommy - it's definitely gaining steam here in the US (at least in the Midwest where I am). I think Princess Kate naming her daughter Charlotte was really the push. I don't know if it will reach #1, but I could see it in top 5. My grandma's name is Charlotte though so it's definitely an older name coming back around! So pretty!

Mommymachine if you love the name I would just go for it and not worry about how popular it is, the only thing that would stop me using a name I love is if a close friend or family had the same name for themselves or their kids [emoji4]
Glad harmony results were good for you bambi

Not very common here Mommymachine. I only know of one ex coworker who named their daughter Charlotte. If you love it, I say go with it. I named my 1st daughter Breanna back when it was popular here and I was super young. Now I regret it, but I went a little more creative with my 2nd by naming her Leanne which is not very common here :)

Re names - it's a whole new world in terms of baby names because there are SO MANY more names than when we were kids (as we all remember the horror of having 17 Kellys if you're my age, or Jennifers if you're in your 30's, or Ashleys if you're in your 20's, in your class) The reality is that with all the names that are in use now, even the most popular names are being used a lot less than you might think. It's like back when the choice was Coke or Pepsi everyone drank only one of them but now there's Vitamin Water, Snapple, etc and even if Coke and Pepsi are still #1, there are overall less people drinking them as a percentage of the population than before.
I have a Wyatt and his name has gotten a lot more popular over the years since we picked it out, but we still have only met like 2 people who were named Wyatt. :) I'ts not as big a deal as it used to be.

Hi ladies! Haven't been on in over a week - honestly haven't found the time. Between going to bed early at night and napping when the kids are sleeping during the day I have no "me" time to get online. Tiredness is a killer! But everything seems to be easing off now I'm 11+2. Nausea is gone - Amen to that!!! So I finally caught up on about 20+ pages of convo lol. Phew you girls can talk!! ;)
Yogi I am glad everything is going well so far and I'm sure you can get your little boy to as close to term as possible. Sending all my positive vibes your way hun xxx
Luvmyfam I am sorry you hear blue but it really sounds meant to be. I am hoping for a similar feeling if we hear boy in a couple of weeks xxx
Violet I definitely agree it's very early for your tech to be so sure of gender. I will be holding out hope that they are wrong but either way I am glad your baby is thriving x
Mommymachine I am over the moon you heard girl! Massive congrats on your beautiful rainbow girl - and for what it's worth I think Charlotte is a timeless classic name x
Boyz I love your shopping style!!! Being able to shop in the pink aisle....it's definitely in my top 5 wishes! I generally feel sick and need to look away when I pass the girl section in stores.
As for me and my little person on board, I got my booking appt for Jan 28th. I will be exactly 13 weeks but the scan is usually a blink and you'll miss it type of one. I'm wondering should I ask for a nub shot or will he think I am crazy? Or is it even a good stage to get a nub shot? I will only have about 5 weeks to wait at that stage til my anatomy scan but would like to post here for a few guesses ;)

yea overall I feel like this pregnancy is alot different to my boys, I know that doesnt mean a different gender but anyway. I have morning sickness, so much more exhausted, feel very twingy/achy in my belly (its hard to explain but its like I am very aware of changes in my belly, its popped out ALOT earlier and my family are constantly asking if its twins lol.
@mammacass - I am planning on doing the NIPT test at 11 weeks but the Dr wants me to have a scan too so I will probably have it at the same time. So I'll book around the 28th January. I wont get the results for probably a week to find out what I am having though. I am so scared its ridiculous!! I just dont want to feel this way anymore, I just wish I could be happy without any sadness about having a new baby coming, I feel wrong for feeling the way I do :(

Sorry haven't been around much since my possible miscarriage scare last week. Well I went in for the private scan Thursday and they told me that my uterus isn't slightly tilted but it's really tilted and at this stage because babies are so small and having a tilted uterus it's hard to do a abdominal ultrasound and they don't do vaginal ultrasound there. They were able to confirm that the gestational sac is growing, in 7days measurements went from 6w0d to 7w3d, and there is blood flowing to the gestational sac. She didn't see a reason for concern and They said that I could come back in 2 to 3 weeks for another private ultrasound for free since they were able to do anything really See anything at this one. Have an appt with the Ob this Thursday and he will do a vaginal ultrasound but for now I feel that at least 1 baby is in there growing.
Violet it really is way to early to determine sex through ultrasound, give it time.
I'm glad everyone is doing the best that is to be expected.
