I'm wary of BA because in some cases, it can prevent pregnancy. (Google or ask atomic about LUFS). Ovulation is an inflammatory event, and studies have shown that follicles *do* tend to be smaller on BA. As long as you're taking a small enough dose, this shouldn't be a concern, but if you are very sensitive to NSAIDs and taking a larger dose (I was on 81 mg per day, per my RE's advice) it can negatively affect ovulation. I also have lots of bruising and became worried about the potential for serious internal bleeding.
Lots of women on here do take BA, and for many it seems to help with the thickness of the lining and implantation, but for others it may actually be detrimental. You certainly shouldn't feel like you're missing out on something of huge benefit because you're BF and can't take BA. I think it's one of those things that can be helpful, but has to be taken in the right dosage, and can even prevent pregnancy for some people's particular biochemistry.
FWIW, I've gotten pregnant very easily on my own in the past, and I've gotten pregnant very easily on Clomid, but I've never gotten pregnant on baby aspirin.
