Morning everyone... Feel so crap :tissue: have I messed this month up? Had a pos opk yesterday morning.. So we had our first attempt around 1pm. Did another opk around 6pm... Still positive. Hubby was tired from work and fell ASLEEP!! So we missed our second attempt last nite. This morning he went wrk early - he has a big job on this week, with engine build hence why hes so tired this week. I just wondered if I could try tonight or have a missed it? Did another opk this morning... Still positive

Huds - No harm in trying again tonight, there is no way to know exactly how many hours after your first + you will O. Dont worry about it, lots of boys were made with 1 shot (including mine:))

Also I have a question, looking at the successful boy sways I see some ladies say they dtd on 0-5, 0-1, 0 etc

Does this mean, from ur first opk is that 0-5, the day after is 0-4 and so on... Then 0 would be the day of ovulation? 0+1, 0+2 going to 0+5 mean days after ovulation?

I feel so gutted.. If I had a positive opk this morning would that mean the egg hasn't dropped yet (sorry I'm so unsure) I will try again tonight, hubby called saying we will try tonight. Should I just try tonight and not tomorrow? Thanks Cinss is good to hear u got your boy with one attempt -makes me feel abut better

Yes thats right, back last year that was the timing pattern we were trying for O-4, O-2, and Oday. I think we were having trouble falling pregnant with that method though so now it is similar but adding the 3 attempts after +opk is more sucessful in BFP.

To be safe i would try 1 more time tomorrow, you never know if your O is later it could still be coming tomorrow night, and the egg lives for 12 hours.

I normally ovulated on day 16, today is day 12. Ok I'll try tonight and tomorrow..

Oh ok, so going by this I would have tried on 0-5 and will be trying 0-3 and 0-2. See how it goes.. I got a feeling ill be on the HE diet for a while lol. Thank u!!!

Me too Huds and my attempt didn't go like I had hoped either. I feel like by putting so much pressure on myself it's just making it worse. Next month I am going to try to relax more although when I am using opk that automatically raises the stress level! I have a presentation with the state this week and we just got bad news on the house we thought we bought so I'm almost hoping I'm not pregnant because this is the most stress I have been under in awhile. Luckily though it all came up this week after I would have ovulated.

Ahh kikical i think yours went well. I know what u mean as soon as u see a positive opk - the pressure is on! Being on the HE diet is difficult at times.. My belly looks gross lol. Aw i really hope u resolve the house problem soon. We have a family wedding at the weekend. Its in london aswel, so glad i didnt get a positive opk then.
