daisy- yes!! he is a saint. I can't believe it! He also has taken the licorice root no problem and adheres to the diet as well. He will basically do as I tell him. He wants a DD soo bad! Hoping this all works!
I think the 4 weeks would have done something to the sperm but the effects won't last more than a month or two. Something is better than nothing!
The only thing DH has turned down is running 30 miles a week. He said there wasn't enough time for both him and me to exercise that much. He lets me go to the gym every night while he puts the boys all to bed. Oh I am one lucky gal!
That is one good husband!!

Daisy I did buy dh the pills
Rosie , that is one good man :)
The only reason my dh cut down on the meat was because I stopped buying so much lol
daisymoo, how exciting for you :) fingers crossed for a quick bfp. My dh was good with taking the meds now, I have troubles getting him to take them. I will admit, he does have quite a few to take. I keep telling him he won't have to take them for much longer.
bluebonnet, hey, it doesn't matter what other people think about the age gap. It's what you feel is right for your family. It is a shame you don't have her support though. I have two lots of parents. My Dad and DSM have pretty much nagged us for another grandchild. While the other parents Mum and DSD aren't keen on it. In fact, it was brought up the other day. Straight away Mum was saying, you don't have the room, what if you have a boy blah, blah, blah. My family, my life, mine and my husbands choice. But, yes it would be nice to know the support was there *hugs*.
AFM, Dh decided to get the Barina. Ah well, we will figure something out when the time comes.
Hi ladies. I'm reading, I promise. I just don't always keep up to post to everyone! Y'all are chatty (in a good way!) :)
Sorry to hear of the wrecked car. That isn't fun. We narrowly escaped a dead car today. Blew some fuse but it turned out to be fairly easy to replace. Whew.
My DD is having issues lately. Going to the doc again in the AM. Just a lot of generic symptoms all piled together, but pointing to nothing specific. She has a new rash all over now. I'm praying its not scarlet fever.
I HATE this winter. It's been nothing but issues for everyone in the fam. Good news is that the chiro has made a huge difference in my headaches, they are lessening in frequency and severity. We also found out that my DS2 can attend preschool next year...which is great! He is ready! But he originally missed the cut-off by 16 days. But they are making an exception since my older son goes there. He just needs to potty train over the summer! I'm hoping he is ready.
I ordered dh his OLE, have my supps. Starting lite LE dieting, won't go "hard-core" til May. We will try in July. Prolly late-July. Although maybe early if my ovulation moves that little bit. It was later this month, prolly cause everyone has been sick and stressed. I'm still rocking the 35 day cycles. Who here has lots (and lots) of CM? I know I'm planning on Zyrtec to help. But gosh, it's lots :(
Me, you know how places like Fertility friend say you should have dry days? No such thing lol I started taking the prenitude because of it actually..I'll have to see if I can find the thread, but Atomic had suggested some supplement for folks with high estrogen (I would assume that's what causes bountiful CM cycle round) and when I asked about it she recommended the pregnitude instead. It did indeed reduce things, not enough I don't think the antihistamines are still in my sway, but it did help.
Hang on... do you mean to tell me that wine sways girl???
I thought strictly no alcohol so haven't touched a drop of my beloved wine for weeks!!
there are ladies who sway with no alcohol and some that sway with it. If you have boys and were drinking wine consistently before I would drop it. If it wasn't a regular thing I would use it in your sway. I am going to drink wine 4-5 days a week for my sway. Just one glass a night.
Hi everyone,
I thought I would introduce myself as I've been reading this thread for a few days (I had posted in the July-Sep thread before realising it was the wrong one hehe).
We have four children (three here, one in heaven) - 2 girls who are 7 and 3, and 2 boys, almost 5 and our youngest that we lost at 19 weeks on the 4th March. So this will (God willing) be baby #5 for us :) When I was pregnant with our youngest son, I was happy for the baby to be any gender. But after we lost him, I realised just how desperately I wanted another son. My DH is happy for me to sway but he believes that God will give us the gender of baby He wants us to have. I'm happy to help God out if I can ;)
I just thought I would say hello as I felt like a bit of a stalker reading and not contributing, so hello :)
Welcome Bloom! Glad to have you aboard and best of luck!

Any one aiming for a February baby ?
The way my cycles are I think we may end up with a late January or early March baby. It would be nice for a February baby again, though.
I am probably going to end up with a feb baby. I have been cycling 10-15 days late every cycle so it will push me out to mid may if it keeps it up. When I started LE it was set for me to have a January 5th due date and now it would be about February 4th.
Exciting Rosie !! It was telling me January 27 or later. If I could ..sway..the doctors to let me get sliced on Febuary 1st...or wait for another attempt at a vbac. Or get a late February baby from getting sliced at 39 weeks. haha.
I'm breastfeeding our 8 month old, so now my cycles are 35-37 days. Drives me nuts.
I just want to be done by 30 wich would be next February. haha.
Welcome.bloom
Wow rosie. I like your confidence. I can't bring myself to think that I will conceive in my first attempt for some reason

Thank you for the thread on CM! I'm getting frustrated with it!
Welcome bloom! I'm sorry to hear about your loss :( I hope you get your little rainbow guy soon!
Oh, and we may have a feb baby. But prolly march. I deliver early though, so I think the EDD would be march regardless.
I actually don't feel overly confident since I have been having issues and I likely have endo now. All 3 of my kiddos now were conceived first month try. I was extremely fertile and hopefully still am! Trying to stay positive!
Fiore I wish to be done by 30 too.. I will be 29 when my next baby is born barring I get pregnant within a year of course! I am really wanting to donate my eggs if I can and the cutoff is 31 years old for that here.
Welcome Bloom, sorry to hear of your loss. Hopefully your little man will come back to you :)
Rosie, fingers crossed it isn't endo xx
Fiore, I'm not aiming for any month in particular. In fact, I would rather avoid Jan-May. We don't want to hold off ttc any longer. With the way my cycle is going, if I get my bfp next month I will be due around January 19th (give or take a day). Very close to my nephew and my uncles birthdays. Same with Feb, March and April, lol. Ah well.
Fiore and Rosie, I told hubby I would be done by 30. If we are successful in a bfp this year, I will be 32 when bub is born, lol.
We are trying to avoid a February EDD (too many family birthdays, bad weather, etc). We were originally going to start trying in June but I'm set to ovulate June 5th so we will probably skip that attempt unless my cycles shift between now and then.

Oh my god you're all so young!! I'm feeling very old now at 38!!
I really don't mind which month I have a baby in. I think a Christmas baby would be so special, I'd love it. So would my boys It would be like an extra gift from Santa! I doubt it will work for me first time either. When I conceived my boys I was so healthy, total opposite of now. I hope I'm not struggling to conceive in 6 months time. But fingers crossed for everyone. I suppose odds are that some of us will get bfps in April. Here's hoping. Have to keep remembering to not stress out!

Hello everyone!
I'm new here, I'll tell you a bit about myself.
I'm 28 yrs old my husband will be 31 in April. We just got married in February ad have been together 4 years. We have know each other since elementary school and went to high school together and so luckily found each other down the road. We are waiting to concieve until may/June because I have some weight to lose and been having some stomach issues so just sorting those things out before trying. We also did not want to end up having our baby on/around Christmas because my brother had always hated (hes dec22) it and my dad always found it financially hard too. We plan on 3 little ones so we thought wed try to avoid the extra stress around that time. I'm afraid that if we keep waiting and we don't concieve right away, later down the road we will regret waiting if we have conception problems. My best friend says to jut relax and try not to control everything all the time (she's 25 and just had her first "accident" baby with her unstable boyfriend) I feel like she doesn't understand. We also plan to try for a girl as there is no girls in my husbands family for over 50yrs! His mom always wanted a daughter and ended up with 2 boys. My husband also said he's always dreamed of a daughter, and his brother has a son. I'd be happy either way but a girl would be extra exciting.
Looking forward to getting to know some of you ladies and having a Bit of a support group!xoxo
Bloom sorry for your loss, welcome to the group, good luck on your sway
Lylia (sp?) I am drinking beer, for calories and for my girl sway, so it helps in two ways
Rosie I hope it's not endo
Daisy I have seen 45 y/o women on here, so don't feel old. Not that they are old either but I have seen older on here.
AFM, I'll be 28 next month on April 9th... Not excited about it either, but I have never been one to care about my birthday but as the years pass, I feel like dang 30 is sneaking up on me.
If I conceive in June (I am really hopeful and being really positive that it will take only 1 try) the baby will be due in March. I am getting really anxious though, ready to be pregnant (and I am not even ttc yet)... but good things come to those who wait.
I like march because my youngest sons bday is in Jan, dh's in Feb, and mine is in April, so baby bear will have her own bday month
Jmrad welcome to the group Hope you're still enjoying the newly wed period!
Marriedmom turning thirty is great It's the new 21 lol!!!!

Jmrad welcome to the group!!
Daisy, so I've heard lol!!
Welcome Jmrad! Swaying for your first is nice because it doesn't have nearly the pressure of swaying for your second (or third, or fourth, etc) - at least you know you have 3 chances!
Jmrad's situation made me think of a follow up question. How many swaying pink have husbands with no sisters? I know this goes against the spirit of this website, but boys actually DO run in some families
http://www.collective-action.info/si...Sex-Ratios.pdf
This is a fantastic read and explains why some families are just destined to have boys (or mostly boys) and some have more girls. "It was found, not only that males with more brothers had more sons, but males with more sisters had
more daughters" .
Welcome Jmrad!
I personally am excited to turn 30. I already feel older than 30 though! Having your first kiddo at 22 will do that to you.
Ladies it looks as if my ovulation is not happening again. FRUSTRATING. I have a feeling this exercise is doing it but I won't stop the exercise. Hopefully if I eat more fat and some meat it will come back. I am thinking april won't happen then for ttc. I keep adding unwanted weeks to my sway. I was thinking of maybe just going for it the very next time I ovulate which could be anytime hopefully but I really don't want a xmas babe and I have only been hard core exercising for 2 weeks after my 3 week break.
Rosie that is frustrating to say the least When are you supposed to be ovulating? Maybe it's just a bit late this month due to diet etc. Did you ever have problems with ovulation before this diet?
Sent from my GT-S5369 using Tapatalk 2
Welcome jmrad
Rosie. .how frustrating! ! Hope your ovulation returns back to normal soon
Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
zero issues with ovulation as long as I have had a cycle. I did take a plan B pill once and after that I didn't have a period for a year!! This whole wonky ovulation started in February when I ovulated late. If it were on time this month it should be right now, I am on cycle day 16 today I think?? Last time I didn't ovulate until CD 22 where it was normally CD13-14. I am expecting another CD 22 or so for it. I am used to 30 day cycles not 40 day ones.
Oh wait no I lied! Right before I wanted to conceive Teddy(ds3) I was suppose to be in a wedding and I didn't want my period so I told it to come late and it did...I ovulated 2 weeks late. The next cycle though i got pregnant right away.
I did ask my period to be later this time too I guess because with my regular schedule it was going to give me an early Jan due date and I wanted it later...be careful what you wish for ladies! haha. Seriously wondering if I have secret super powers.:superhero::omg:
We're starting in April :) it would be nice to have ttc buddies!
I wish I could tell my period what to do lol Are you on vitex already? I know that can help with the late O and wouldn't require cutting the exercise.
Yes maybe you do have super powers! My boys would love you They love anything superhero! But it is frustrating. Maybe up your protein and fat if it is on the low side. Perhaps you're being too strict. Hummus would be a good option. Teddy is a cool name by the way.
