My advice for a successful vbac would be
#1 Do Not get induced
#2 stay home until contrax.are coming regularly
Chiro trained in Webster and prego ladies to get babe in best position. Took 19 hours for my 1st two to dialte from a 2-3 w steady strong contrx every 5 min. If they are not in good position takes them a lot longer to turn in labor. Check out spinningbabies
Also dates and the red raspberry leaf tea can't hurt might help vs other " natural" induction methods
My sil had a vbac2. Her water broke 3 days before labor started. They had her scheduled for csec when she went in to rev. Doc appt. After 24 hours water broken. She stayed home, kept vit c up, hydrated, checking temp, and walked in to hossy 30 min. Before babe was born lol.
My #1 advice for a successful vbac is to make sure you have a vbac friendly provider!!! I switched providers at 36 weeks a firmly believe that I would've had my 3rd section if I stayed with my old provider! I also think hiring a Doula is great if you can... Not doing cervical checks, staying home to labor as long as you can, & I drank 3 cups of rrlt a day in my 3rd trimester... I didn't take EPO as I had heard about it upping your chance of hemorrhaging.. I also didn't do pain relief so I could be able to move around & baby crowned while I was standing up! GL, I really hope you get your vbac!
Hopefor4, has baby arrived?
Nice planning bee. Good luck. I envy u for having home birth. I m suck a chicken. I m going to try vbac this time. I started taking rlt 2 cups a day. And started squatting for five mins daily

My due date is next Thursday. I've been having contractions in the evening and lots of pressure which I didn't have with either of my previous pregnancies but I'm guessing that it doesn't necessarily mean anything in terms of when baby will come. I've had acupuncture 4 times last time being today and I think I'm done with it now. I didn't expect it to put me into labor but I also wasn't planning on doing it forever if labor didn't start.
I hope you can have some help unpacking everything Bee! It sounds like the move was the right decision but it is still stressful when you are right in the middle of it!!
Sounds like things might happen soon Junie best of luck

Hi Ladies it has been a crazy week. My water broke on Saturday morning and my son was born Sunday Easter baby [emoji3]. I had contractions all day and night and only dialated to 1 cm so a vbac was not possible [emoji20] . My gbs status was unknown I was suppose to get it done the Tuesday that just passed. I was positive with my first son so they gave me antibiotics for it. Because of being early at 36 weeks and other factors I had a repeat c-section. My little guy is healthy and doing well [emoji3]. Thanks you all for the adivice and support. Attachment 30564

Hope- congrats on baby girl. How many weeks did she come? My first two came at 41 weeks :)
Bee- ugg moving. We had to move at 8m. Prego last time, no help or moving crew just my dh and kids. Also moved w a nb before that and def. Easier after they are born as I can barely bend over or do anything at 8m. Just take it a box at a time and if u have anyone offer help take it. Also had a home wb;)
Aww Easter babe soo cuttie
Junie- lots of ctrx here too and pressure. Went on day trip 4 hours away soo hard. Been doin chiro 1x a week to help get babe positioned well since mine are always posterior. Does acu help w that or just kick starting?
She is beautiful hopefor4! congrats!!!
Funny. Yeah my started out long and my earliest was 38.5. Have to be 37 for HB so I always breathe easier when I make it to that point.

Had my 35 week appt. Today. Finally measured over in all these years lol. It's funny because my gigantic babes always measure exactly on so hoping it's just a lil extra fluid or position today and that this babe isn't bigger than the others lol. How are my super full term momnys feeling?
How yu Atsaukina. We slowly getting there aren't we. Someone said size hard to really measure in last few weeks. Glad all ok for you and baby , just few more weeks to go. I'm 37 wks this week and just exhausted. Bn having continuous Braxton hicks and pelvic pressure had to go in to be checked on Friday. Turns out cervix still closed shut.Last scan was at 32 weeks and baby's head was measuring big/ already full term. This is worrying me. I already fear pushing, and the big head scares me further. Has anyone ever Bn told baby's head measuring big?? I m hoping when I see consultant she will give me option of csection if head too big, as too terrified of having to push, or having baby's head stuck in my pelvis. Otherwise am hoping all you ladies are fine and counting down.... I can't wait to meet this little one

My both sons had big heads actually. Ds1 was vaginal and it took me 1 hr to push him out but i was a first time mom so may b thts why it took so long. I dont think so the head will put on any more fat after 32 weeks so you ll b good i guess

Thanks for your response BoyzM ....1 HR pushing seems tough. But at least yu did it. Have a scan tomorrow and am hoping head has nt grown bigger. Did yu have caesarian for your second due to big head???

Kizzie- I don't do scans so never know head size before birth and luckily no scare tactics since my boys are all around big 10+ lbs, 22 in. Long, ect. Who knows what scan would've said. I have never had a long pushing phase 1st was exactly 3 pushes, one I literally did not push at all, and other 3 about 30 min. Maybe 5- 6 pushes. It's all about being upright and helping babe down and then breathing babe out. One thing I notice about hpsdy births especially if u have epi and can't feel, is that they make you push(long pushes) right at 10 and that is not exactly when every woman's body feels the urge. The trick is to wait for that urge and fight it with breathing instead of super pushes unless necessary. Also try not to stress there really is only a small percent of women who truly have a narrow pelvis ( CPD)
CPD: Will Baby Fit?
I do have long labors though as my babes have all been posterior ( back labor)until birth. Have been at home though so not on traditional clock. Working w chiro to get babe positioned well. Spinning babies is a good place to look for exercises. Best to do some work now and save you hours in labor:)
Than ks a lot for info, will look into it like now.scans can bring on more stress to be honest....need to just get myself ready coz feeling quite anxious about labour...even though I've Bn through it b4...like 13yrs ago..
