My 4 year son just had an accident (not serious)im up a&e with him I'm super stressed Out and angry because of the circumstances of how it happened. How likely at this early stage will it effect the pregnancy?

It should not affect the pregnancy. Our bodies are good at getting and staying pregnant and people conceive in warzones and all sorts of things that are incredibly stress inducing.
Oh no BR! I hope he is ok!!

For some reason while my older 2 boys were making their bed, which are top bunk beds joined in an L shape the 4 year old the one in the profile pic his name is dylan. Has gone up there has and either he was pushed or dropped by his eldest brother. Thank goodness there was a giant beanbag on the floor it didn't completely break his fall though as he has really knocked his front teeth one looks like it's going to come out!

Ditto this! Pregnancy is unbelievably stressful for me but I am 14 weeks and bean is doing great. Our bodies are made to grow babies and I think only the most dire situations would have any effect on the preg. A much later in pregnancy example but they always warn about extreme stress and preterm labor but when I was a week from delivery with DS2 (prime labor territory) and I was already extremely stressed due to being told I had to have a cesarean (traumatic first experience made this feel as though I had a bomb strapped to my chest) and then DS1 started having seizures. ... I was a crooked blow of the wind away from a nervous breakdown. But he was fine and stayed nice and snuggled in until planned delivery day. All that said to say this- your body knows what it is doing. Try not to put additional stress on yourself worrying about bean too. (((Hugs))) Hope everything is okay.
🙏 for a healthy 🌈 🚼

:agree: totally with my DS 2 at 7 months, I was exposed to toxoplasmosis and possibly rabies and then my blood pressure went up and I was stressed for the entire rest of pregnancy and he was 5 days late LOL.
I think they have something screwy with their theorizing on stress during pregnancy - like a lot of people who have lots of stress during pregnancy may be in bad situations in life that could affect them in LOTS of other ways like diet, lack of sleep, etc They seem to be completely wrong on just about EVERYthing they have ever claimed in the past 75 years so please try not to take this too seriously.
Dylan had lost his front tooth it's completely cracked

Oh Pbn, my heart breaks for you! I've really been hoping you'd get your BFP this month. Please don't lose hope yet!!
BR, nice progression! I think you've got a sticky bean in there! I'm so sorry about your DS. How scary! I hope he'll be okay and can get the tooth fixed.
Jennypenny, 8dpo is pretty early so don't be disheartened just yet. 10-12 dpo may be better for testing.
Purple, I wish you all the best! I'm glad you're getting some tests done and have a plan of action for when you try.
Magical it's so good to hear from you! I wish you all the luck and tons of sticky baby dust :)
XX, I think temping even with erratic sleep is fine. I always temped when my boys were babies despite waking several times a night to nurse. My temps were wonky but I could at least see enough of a shift to know when I O'ed.
I took another FRER and cheapie this morning and it's even darker than yesterday's. The line on the FR showed up right away unlike with my losses where the line took a couple of minutes to appear. My lines today are actually darker than they ever were with any of my losses so that makes me very happy. I'm waiting on the nurse to call me back to schedule another beta blood draw.
Oh no beautifulrainbow what a shame your poor son xx
Everyone seems to be vclose to testing, im only 3dpo lol Is anyone else not testing for at least a week??!
Just got back from the dentist unfortunately there was no saving the tooth it was too wobbly. it was his baby tooth but still feel do sorry for him. He was so brave while thwy were putting his gum to sleep only cried until he saw tgr box of stickers. now he has a gap on top let's hope nobody sings "all i want for Xmas is my front tooth" lol all you ladies are fab so supportive.xxxxx

Lol BR! I didn't want anyone to feel left out. :) I love catching up with you ladies.
BR glad to hear ds is all fixed up and feeling better! My boys pulled a cupboard over onto themselves the other day, I thought would never ever tip, but they managed to do it climbing the drawers. Gave me a heart attack, I was a shaking mess for hours thinking of what could've been. I would've loved bunk beds but only looked at the lowline ones and then gave up as ds1 would have no problem pushing ds2 from the top. That and the fact he doesn't want to share a room with his brother 😠 and here I had envisioned this wonderful brotherly love and companionship 😂😂😂 they can't be alone together for one minute without one or both fighting/crying!!

Ksmom thank you :) and its so weird because my chart just keeps getting better and better but no bfp. Another stark bfn this morning plus I'm getting the usual 'feelings/twinges' that lead to af cramps. I always get them a couple days b4 af due.

I'm so excited for you KSmom. I hoping everyone get BFP but PBN, you, Maiden and few other have been around since before and during the being of my ttc so I am really FX that we get our BFP this month.
4dpo today and temp went down more, see what tmrw brings. At first this morning I was completely sure with 3 and 4dpo temps down that it didn't happen this month. But along with not stressing about everything I am trying to stay positive, realistic but positive, this cycle. No symptom spotting either.
My friends kid knocked his two front teeth out when he was two. He had to wait until he was 6 or 7 to have the adult teeth come through but lucky they were fine.
Is your 4 year old the youngest or 2nd youngest?
We got our blood tests today, 3 vials for DH and 9 for me! She actually forgot one of mine and only realised when she saw DH's request form as it was one of the genetic tests we are both getting.
Not what I was want though wanted a closer age gap. My eldest is 11. 12 in august middle son is 9. 10 in november. This is 2 year 4 month age gap.

Would have like a 3-4 year age gap between my youngest and bean. Oh well it wasn't meant to have happened then!
Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
I heard that the bigger the age gap more likely to have another do you think there is any truth truth in this?

I had to laugh yesterday.... I Google why you peeps were eating pinapple in the tww and I found a website saying things like rubbing your belly and walking was bad for your pregnancy and will cause miscarriage. Wtf!

Pbn3 is your temp back up?

My temp is still down. I just don't know what to think. I am trying to stay positive but with my post O temps looking like this it's doesn't give me much hope.
PBN your temps look great!!!
1moregirl, FX for a BFP soon!
Purple, I feel ya on all the blood draws! The RE had us do so many tests and I think I had something like 12-15 vials of blood taken...eek! I hope all your results come back with great news!
Signingmommy, don't lose hope yet! Your temps are still above the coverline so that's good. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
Got my beta results back and it was 16 at 9dpo. Does that sound okay? I know one number in isolation doesn't mean anything but I'm just curious. I go back tomorrow for a repeat draw to check it again.
Just had another bfn and its 9dpo! Guessing I'm probably out but will see what the next few days brings.
Have been using internet cheapies from ebay, but assume they are as reliable as most tests. If af hasn't arrived by Tuesday 12dpo I will maybe buy a clearblue digital test just to be sure.
The thought of another month of diet and exercise is annoying, will need to think of my next plan of action. This month was every 4 days (one attempt was on positive opk)
Do you think I should stick to that next month or go to every 3 days?
Jenny are you in the UK and I wouldn't just assume Internet cheapies are reliable I didn't get a bfp with them until a very faint one yesterday morning day before missed AF14DPO. And I bought the one that is meant to give you and early results too. If your in the UK morrisons is selling clear blue digitals cheaper.
At 9dpo, I barley got the faintest of lines wouldn't even show Up in a picture.
If you don't get a bfp and you really want it to happen next month I can pass on atomics advice she gave to me. Dtd e4d plus on on positive opk.! So.you end up with 2 attempts in fertile window.
If one of your e4d ends up on opk day add extra attempt next day

Thanks for the advice!
Yes I'm in uk, live round the corner from a morrisons so will get it from there if they r on offer! I remember buying them once from a pharmacy and paying £16!!! So any money off would be great!
Will try to hold out a few more days though [emoji1]
I didn't realise that some have higher testing levels than others, so will gladly take that as a little glimmer of hope!!
In my morrisons, they were priced on the shelf for £9 got it to the till and it was £6.47. Also the boots pack of 5 tests strips are really good the got me quite a clear 2nd at 10dpo with great progression over the next few days they are £4.99 for 5
Fx for you still because you may still get you bfp yet.

Jennypenny how long have you been swaying?
This is just my second month ttc so I have no right to be moaning lol!! Started diet lightly (vegetarian and low fat) from last July and full diet and exercise since January.
Conceived my boys superfast with 10000000 attempts in my fertile days, so it feels different for me that it hasn't happened so quickly this time round with the fewer attempts. Will stick with it regardless, not giving up that easily haha!
Jennypenny, I asked because if you haven't been swaying long then it's probably better to stick with E4D. Definitely ask Atomic though if you're not sure. As with BR, she recommended E4D plus one attempt at pos. OPK for me as well. BR and I are in unique situations which is why Atomic suggested this to us. I've been doing LE diet since last May and exercise since August plus I've had a few losses while swaying so that is why she felt I needed to get pregnant asap. I think we only had one attempt this cycle though as I wasn't really worried about TTC as much since we were on vacation. Like I said, ask Atomic what her advice would be to you. Most likely she'd tell you to go to E3D before E4D but get her opinion on it. :)
