Ash - so cute!! So what were the boys reactions? We still haven't told our girls yet, but again my husband slipped up the other night and prayed for the baby in my belly and my oldest was like there's a baby in mamas belly [emoji15] my husband goes maybe and changed the subject [emoji23]

Hi ladies!
How did everyone react to the monkey announcement ash? Love the idea!
I'm 12 weeks today with my nuchal scan in a week's time and we'll properly announce then (most friends and our parents know). My husband is a nerdy computer gamer so we're going to do a player 4 connecting Xmas 2017 photo announcement.

I must say I'm over this thrush! Never had it with DD but this pregnancy about 3 days after gettig my positive bam...thrush! Not bad and it will go away after 2-3 days but then a week or so later - it's back again. I've been eating so much yoghurt! Just got rid of the 10th round of thrush this pregnancy yesterday - this will.make it an annoying 9 months. However a friend had thrush her entire pregnancy with her boy and not her girl, so hoping it means blue vibes!

Dancing hope you get a break from the thrush soon!

So happy I held onto my maternity leggings. This photo doesn't even show how big I am IRL but seriously if I'm like this at 8w3d I'm going to have buckleys chance of hiding this pregnancy till 13 weeks 🙈😂 I am so lucky its winter and I'll hopefully be able to hide under a big jumper 😕

Sky-I have a weird taste in my mouth too. I had the hardest time waking up this morning! I think we've been going going going all weekend & have finally crashed today. We took our family all over yesterday site-seeing & it was a lot of fun, but running around in the hot weather with 5 kiddos is draining!! It sounds like you're at the typical early stages of pregnancy with craving sour & metallic tastes!!

As for me i am still a bit depressed. Had some fullness like feeling but was still able to keep everything down. But that's gone now so not sure what that was about. Feel exhausted but i think that's my depression more than the pregnancy.

I will wait till at least the dating scan to tell only the ppl that must know. I will avoid telling anyone that doesn't really need to know.

Srg- How have u bn? How far along r u? I was never slim n my tummy just popped out more right after bfp. [emoji52][emoji52]I have seen a friend of mine staring at it so many times n it bugs me a lot. She has n idea that we were supposed to ttc. I read about it n its bloating which thankfully reduced last couple of days. It's actually annoying to b bloated at the wrong time. Lolla- Hope u get some rest now. Is everyone gone?Oh boy, sightseeing in hot weather is as it is hard and with 5 kids [emoji51][emoji51][emoji51]. But nothing like spending quality time with family. Try to get some rest now. I have bn running around the entire week with dd. We are hardly at home but I don't mind since it helps the time pass quickly. Longest 3 weeks are still ahead of us. But I did feel so tired and I took a 3 hour nap yesterday afternoon and slept in today. Dh knows my crazy routine so he is happy that I could catch up on my rest. DH told our pastor today!! Good grief the list is up to 5 now and my parents/Sis still don't know. I'm excited he's so excited but please keep it shut!

We announced to family and on Facebook this weekend! Family didn't have any rude boy girl comments which was relieving they're all super excited! We left the house Friday morning and still aren't home yet! I just needed a weekend away from home and cleaning and sewing just away from the daily stresses! Dad and the big boys went to an MLB game this afternoon while I spend some time with the little guys at the children's museum then we will hopefully be home by bed time! Fun but exhausting weekend with feeling so nauseous and trying to kept going like the energizer bunny. Along with some people's body odor 🤢🤢! Forgot to post the other day my next appointment is July 6th then I'll have one more in 4 weeks then I will start them weekly which is a big paint but o'well it'll hopefully help bring a big healthy baby to us.

Dh and my mom think i am being silly. All our family is out of states. I havent told snyone of my friends but i know what they will say " searching for a boy ? " "o my what if its your 4th girl?"
Every child is a blessing but the fact is I am not physically ready for a 4th. In fact for me even the 3rd was a stretch but after reading these forums i felt maybe i might get a son so gave it a try.
What makes me angry is its all my fault. I should have moved forward with permanent birth control. I just didnt except this.

No i dont suffee from depression. I was actually at my happiest. My 3rd just turned 1 and we had a wonderful celebration and r doing to wdw on vacation this week. I was so happy planning this all and looking forward to it.
I am hoping time will heal as it did after my failed sway if not ofcourse i have to seek medical help as i cant function like this. I have lost all interest in life as if a switch just turned off.

@Bluebooties you need to see your gp or ob to discuss the possibility of going on antidepressants even just short term ❤ Do not wait for 'time to heal' as it wont. If you are already at the stage of 'I have lost all interest in life as if a switch just turned off' then now is the time to see someone. I have been where you are and waited way too long to get help. But I finally did and could have kicked myself a hundred ways to Friday for not going sooner. Please don't wait any longer. It's exhausting emotionally and physically being depressed and then you have to deal with the terrible guilt on top of it all for not being a 'normal' mother or wife (which is very exaggerated in a depressed mind). Within a week or so of being on antidepressants you will start feeling normal again and will cry happy tears instead of sad at how good it feels to be yourself again. It is not a sign of weakness to get help, it does not mean you are not a strong person. Sometimes strength comes from accepting what you'd rather ignore and then doing something about it. I have almost weaned off my antidepressants completely after taking them since October last year and I have felt no ill side affects mentally or physically. I have been weaning off very slowly because the thought of going back to where I was mentally last year was terrifying. But I am still me and I am feeling just like me and am so happy I appear to have come out the other end of depression perfectly fine. Which you will too!! You just need to take that first (and hardest) step. We are right here with you and please by all means pm me any questions or anything you like if that makes you feel more comfortable. Never forget that you are irreplaceable no matter what your head and heart are saying ❤ your head and heart and unwell but will be feeling so much better really soon. So again, please make the appointment now ❤

Kat-well after a marathon weekend, I've been pretty lazy. Made a trip to the pet store in efforts to entertain the boys & also grocery store. We all took a long nap lol. I ordered my weeks estimator off of eBay last cycle. I'm nervous to see what my last one says. None of us really need more tests, but just.can't.stop 🤣
Ash-I love that you told your fam & that they were all so supportive! You are supermom doing all of that while feeling nauseous & tired!! At least with weekly appts, you'll see to see/hear your sweet babe more!!
Sky-family has left. We had a blast, but relieved to have my time & space back to myself since I've been SO tired! Awesome that your DH helped you catch up on some rest. My DH went off to work, so I was up early & entertaining the boys after a whirlwind weekend & really just wanted some sleep! Thank goodness for naps!!!
Bluebooties-I'm so sorry for what you're going through, but please know that we're here for you! I have anxiety issues and take a small dose (25mg) of Zoloft which is also used for depression. My OB said that I didn't need to wean off of it if all is well. My gp always said meds help for the short term, but talking to someone (therapist) may help in the long term. I have never taken that step, but agree that talking to someone may help me cope with anxiety. I feel like it's something that runs in my dad's family & I've researched & developed my own ways to cope. All of that is beside the point, I agree with everything pbn said! It takes strength & courage to realize that you need to take care of yourself first and get yourself back to a happy place b/c your kiddos (and precious miracle growing in you) need you. I like to think of the flight attendant oxygen mask safety analogy. You know how they always say to put YOUR mask on before your children? You can't help them or anyone else until you've helped yourself [emoji173] You can come here & vent anytime!!

My sisters, and probably my mum once we know all is well, will definitely say they hope its a girl. We have one girl (the oldest) and six boys between us girls so I'm definitely going to cop gender comments. My payback will be making them wait till birth to find out mwah-ha-ha!!!! 😈😈😈

On a happy note I've managed to lose 1kg in six days by counting calories and fat intake!!! I am doing the recommended 1800 and up to 60g fat and have gone over a couple times so not being strict or restrictive in any way :) I did have some chocolate last night though that will surely tack onto this week 😆 but it was worth it lol!

You look so cute! I've been doing the same as you and have only gained 13-15lbs so far at 24 weeks! I'm super happy about that!! From now until 34 weeks I'll probably only gain another 5-10lbs. I typically stop gaining weight around 34 weeks. My appetite goes south as I become so big!!

Oh, and to the ladies that have a funny taste in their mouth, I had that with DS1-3. It was like I had a mouthful of quarters [emoji13]!
