Kat- super cute baby!!! Don't you think the scans just arn't long enough? I'm always hanging around afterwards staring at the screen, wanting to Just spend that few minutes more admiring baby :)
Max- this is my 5th boy, 4th pregnancy and the first two i was ravenous. The twins, fairly hungry but couldn't keep anything down. This pregnancy no appetite at all lol
Welcome to all the new ladies. Ash- those are adorable shoes. Laurel- cant wait to find out Monday what you are having. Has anyone else found out what they are having yet? Lola- i hope you are going to show us some of the cute things you buy for your girl. Kat- very cute baby. Max- I think all babies have different calorie needs no matter what gender, so I wouldn't look into that to much. I hope everyone else is doing well to.
I don't know if any of you have seen the Boss Baby movie, but it is so cute cute and funny. I watched it last night with my kids they were all laughing throughout the whole movie, even my almost 12 year old son loved it. I think it is a great family movie.

I'd check with the pharmacist if there's anything OTC that's safe to take although what your currently doing sounds good, especially the paracetamol to keep the fever down. Iwant4kids mentioned the saline solution nose spray which may help with a blocked nose. Hope you're feeling better for dd's birthday!

I had lightening boob in early pregnancy this time too. Actually my boobs have never been this sore before that I can recall [emoji52] and they're still sore at 15w [emoji21]

Momoffourboyz we're going to watch that tonight!! Been humming and harring as the boys only seem to want to watch cars, transformers, dinosaurs, batman etc (pretty much anything with destruction [emoji23]) but I think we'll give it a go!

I got the flu shot back in March, as I knew we were going to be ttc, and my gp always recommends it as when pregnant a simple flu can complicate much more. This may not be flu or at least the same strain but I would have thought I'd be immune lolQuote:

Max - to give you more perspective I gained 15 pounds by 15 weeks last pregnancy [emoji51][emoji51][emoji51] which is really 15 pounds in 11 weeks. I ended up only gaining 15 more, thank goodness. But that just shows you how much I ate [emoji23]

MOFM - We loved watching boss baby. My dd loves the movie and has watched it like 30 times already. She had a surgery and we were totally dependent on screen for the pain control when the meds wore off. [emoji12]She watched boss baby everyday. She refers to the the baby who will be joining us as boss baby. [emoji4][emoji4]

Max-nope just wives tales & diff experiences for diff people/diff pregnancies! I had NO appetite with my boys & this time I'm like you...hungry all the time, so I'm in trouble lol. Don't let the hunger worry you! I thought of you today b/c one of my former coworkers (SAHM now) is expecting & same dd as me! She is one of 3 girls & really wants another girl to be best buds with her daughter. I never had sisters growing up, but sisterhood sounds like a strong bond! My local sis-in-laws are awesome though, really enjoy hanging out with them!

LMSM my kids all had the flu shot this pat winter and one of them had the flu and the dr did tell us if he hadn't of gotten the shot it would have been so much worse. Lola heck no he doesn't dare rain on my shopping parade! I have waited for 11 years and through 4 boy pregnancies for this! I think we're equally excited he says it's like having our first all over again since everything is so new. Plus he knows I'm somewhat of a tight wad if I don't have the extra cash I won't buy it. Kat-thought about you...I'm going to stop using my Doppler b/c I keep freaking myself out! Couldn't find the hb last night, so tried again this AM & finally found it briefly. It's awesome the times where I can find it fast, but the other times it just causes stress!!!

But we've been through a couple work lay offs and it is not fun so I know we must save and not spend to to much in case t happens again BUT this IS a once in a lifetime chance so I will sew my buns off until she gets here so I can have my fun [emoji6] and everything I buy is on sale and I do try to get all different sizes since I know we will probably get A LOT of nb and little stuff from family! It will be the first girl in 10 years on my big side of the family and the first girl in 25 years on my moms side so I think everyone is a bit excited
