Hi girls just wanting to let you know that our baby girl Isabelle arrived well this morning all naturally and four hours labour 3.3 kilos 7.5 pounds she's just perfect and we feel just so blessed to finally have her in our lives. Will post pics up next week when I'm home on my computer. Xxxx

Awwww belle huge congratulations hun, how jealous are we that you popped early lol!
Enjoy your new born cuddles :) can't wait to hear all about it and see pictures!
Danikins no sorry we've not see anything from applesoup on here as yet.
-
Belle congratulations!!! Sounds like you had a very smooth birth, that's amazing. Enjoy every moment with your newborn daughter!
-
huge congrats belle!!!!!!!looking forward to seeing some pics...:)

I had a visit at my dr. and yes baby pushed itself out of my pelvis again.
I think those painful BH were because of the raspberry leaves tea, so I stopped drinking that for now, these BH were not funny and it's better baby comes out when my inlaws are here so they can look after the boys.
I'm cooking bolognese right now to put in small portions in the freezer.
-
Congratulations on the new arrivals.. :)
I'm still here hanging out waiting around with no motivation to do anything what so ever!
More doctors appointments next week. Plus I've had my meeting with the midwife.
A full update can be found on my blog.
-
Indira that's not good about the bh, I get them bad enough without taking anything can't imagine how uncomfortable that must have been!
I had a midwife appointment this morning, Lily is engaged now which I knew as my bump is pretty low now, but she appears to have been back to back. She moves about a lot do I know there's a chance she will move again fingers crossed anyway!
Just faced with more waiting now :(
I don't have another appointment until 40+4 so hopefully I'll not have another visit with her (I mean that in the nicely possible way lol)
-
Kell lol I´m sure you´ll get to meet Lily before seeing your midwife again!
Great that she´s engaged! I hope she turns away from back to back though.
During the day sometimes I feel pressure like the head is going down and before going to bed my bump looks lower but when I wake up baby is all high up again, I think when I sleep it likes to push itself up again :) It´s not a big deal as my sons never engaged before labour started.

Sorry, guys! It's been a rough few weeks! My little one was 6 days late & must've been positioned wrong...because I was in (drug-free) labor for 18 hours. FINALLY announcing:
Noelle Emily
July 2nd
12:41am
7lb 4oz
Attachment 3602

Wow - She's a doll ! Sorry to hear your labor was long. :( Hopefully the recovery will be speedy one.
-
Apple she's lovely!!!!!! What a beautiful little lady! Huge congratulations! Sorry to hear things weren't do straight forward.
Indira I think the mammoth walk I had carrying ds2 most of the way helped! But I don't think she will stay engaged to be honest. I think she will pop in and out a few times before I go into labour! :)
-
kell, sasha was back to back untill the day before i had her.
HUGE CONGRATS APPLESOUP :)
shes a cutie, has it sunk in yet, that you have a girl.
sasha is neally 6 weeks old and i still cant believe it...lol
and love the name too..:)
-
Applesoup, oh my gosh she is gorgeous!
-
Danikins I can't believe she's 6weeks old already! That's flown by scary fast
-
Congrats Applesoup! I hope you'll have smooth recovery from your long labour so you can enjoy your little girl.
-
Thanks, everyone! :) I just used up all the memory on my camera...guess I've been taking too many pictures!
6 weeks already, Dannikins? I've lost track...who's due next?
-
Me in a week and Indira is two days after so it could be either of us!!
Race you to the finish Indira hehe
-
Gosh Kell that just scared the heck out of me that you're due in a week and I am 2 days after lol!
I came on 'cause I had a feeling I needed to check on you...but all is quiet I guess.
-
BoOoo hoooo yes everything is very quiet :(
My pelvis is under enormous pressure but other than that nothing exciting I'm affraid.
Hope your doing ok :)
-
Do any of you girls due within the next three weeks plan to do any at home remedies to bring on labor?
-
Journey I' m waiting until Saturday then my inlaws will be here so DH will be less stressed out as they can look after the boys when we need to go to the hospital. Then I'm going to drink raspberry leaf tea, might buy some caullophyllum and convince DH into some action!
With Ds2 I ate pinneaple and had a big O, next day things started. But maybe they would have anyway.
And if I go overdue I could do accupuncture with my gyn.
At the moment I still have some patience left, too much in a lousy mood to be wanting to give birth lol.
Kell if she stays posterior there is also a Hypnobabies Mp3 download to make baby turn.
-
Journey after trying everything under the sun in my last pregnancy (including caster oil yuck!!) I realised that there really isn't much that can help unless your body is ready to go into labour itself! We've done the deed a few times and I've experienced the big o in the last couple of days but not for induction reasons lol
I'm just going to patiently (yeh right) wait this one out!
I'm getting lots of stretching and ligament pains and braxton hicks which im willing to turn into more lol, but I'm sure I'll still be here past my due date.
-
Yay, huge congrats to you both Belle and Applesoup!! such great news!
Sorry have been mia from this thread for ages, don't know why I haven't been checking, babybrain lol
Loving the pics of all the pretty girlies.
Dannikins, those pics are amazing, she is totally adorable :HH:
No news here, just getting huge!
loads of love to you all, will be MUCH better about keeping in touch, I feel really bad for missing out on all the news, sorry :(
-
Hi Indigo I see your 37 weeks tomorrow :) you can race along with Kell and me!
-
Morning,
Nice to have you back indigo :) so nice to see you!!
Had mild contractions for a few hours last night, and lots of back ache and period pains but nothing came of it! In shattered today tho because it all started quite late on. I'm not use to the stop start thing as the boys were pretty definate with no messing about. I'm dragging dp out for a walk this afternoon to see if it helps! I want her here now!
-
Exciting exciting Kell! I bet she is on her way. With Ds2 I had a slow start like that, the next evening again contractions and that stopped and restarted, he was born next day at lunch time. Will be checking here all day :luck:
I feel nothing, zero, nada, my baby is very chilled out in my bump so I think it will take it easy.
-
I'm not getting too excited just yet, guess its a bit of a defence thing! I hope things do start sooner rather than later! I guess time will tell huh! You'll probably end up first now you've said that lol
-
lol I hope not! If I get contractions during the night before Saturday I really don´t know what we´ll do with the boys. I guess I´ll take a taxi to the hospital and leave Dh at home. My labours have been long and slow before so I don´t think I will have to rush to get there.
I understand you don´t want to get excited -but I am for you!- I really believe she will be here before her due date though !
Applesoup now I finally saw Noelle´s picture as I´m not on my phone, she´s gorgeous! And I love the name too.
Indigo I saw on another thead you´re still struggling with names, we are too! Maybe it´s hormones but I think all the names we had before aren´t special enough and feel like we´re back at square one. This is stressing me out!
-
Well apparently labour tends not to start if you are anxious about something like childcare etc! I was reading lots about the hormones releasing which triggers labour i find thewhole thing fascinating!
Just like its unusual for your waters to break in the middle of a supermarket lol it tends to happen in a familiar place of comfort.
Where abouts are you from Indira? Do you have family coming to care for the boys this weekend?
We've had a lovely day, had lunch in a pub garden, went into town for a few bits and then saw the In laws, feeling quite relaxed and chilled now :S
No more signs really just lots of blooming braxton hicks!
-
Relaxed and chilled is good!
Sounds like you had a lovely day indeed.
We´re living abroad in Germany and we don´t have relatives here, I´ve asked a friend if she can take the boys during the day but she has 3 children as well, we´re not that close that I´m comfortable calling her at night.
My inlaws will stay with us for 2 weeks and they arrive on Saturday so then I will be all set!
Speaking about anxiousness holding off birth, Dh is off from work too in the same 2 weeks, so I am a bit worried my labour will never start as I´ll have these three persons around me asking me 10 times a day if I feel anything..
I´m looking forward to my dr. appt. on Friday, I hope she does another scan and baby is doing fine.
-
Lol I'm being driven crazy by my oh asking 'are you in labour' every ten minutes! I'm pretty sure I'd let him know lol!
I made the mistake of telling him I was getting contractions the other night and he then didn't sleep very well expecting me to go into labour properly and blamed me for being tired! I did say me sleeping was a pretty good indication that nothing was happening! Durrr
No more signs for me, last night she was rolling about all over the place! Felt like she was trying to escape :)
Oh is working today so I get a bit of peace to get on with the house work :) at peace :( at housework!!
-
O, I bet she turned anterior, good!
-
I went for me 35 week Doctors appointment on Tuesday - All is well, Cervix is still closed! I got back in two weeks time for bloods, Ultrasound and results of my GBS test.
-
Here's hoping so Indira! What ever she was doing it made me loose a little more plug so I'm certainly gearing up for things.
Journey glad to hear everything is going well! We don't get examined until we are over due in the uk do I haven't got a clue how things are down there lol.
-
Ah interesting I've been checked every 4week which is every appointment since I was 25 week or before. I think It mainly for the doctors peace of mind since I was having so many BH early on. I have been signed off work since May.
-
Oh Kell you lost some plug too, I can´t help to be very excited about that! lol
It´s like I´m living the fun part of -approaching- birth through you without feeling contractions and pushing myself lol.
I bet she wants to beat her brothers on punctuality :)
Journey glad all is well. You´re almost 36 weeks, I always feel turning from 35 to 36 weeks is crucial, 35 weeks sounds so innocent but 36 is a different story. 36 is right before 37 and at 37 weeks it is normal to deliver.
Are you enjoying being signed off work ? Do you still have a lot of BH?
-
Lol indira! Hey your not far behind me ;)
We're you over due with the boys?
-
Yep 36/37 is coming round the corner fast! As for work - At first I was ok with it. Managed to do so much in and around the house but since I've gotten bigger my motivation has got smaller. I'm just too lazy and too tired. I'm not sleeping so well now.
Not to many BH going on now I'd say im still getting 2-3 an hour where as before I was getting 6-7. but I've upped my water in take to over 2L's which has helped.
As for delivering at 37 weeks. I'd rather hang off on that one. My midwife is on holiday in till August 13th which is the day i turn 39 weeks. Any time after 13th Im happy to go ! Hell I'll even give him a helping hand to come out :p As long as I dont go over due.
-
All quiet on the western front?
Indira your silence is exciting! Are you having a baby lol
