Well I'm so disappointed. I didn't take a video but I wish I had as she only gave me one picture and there's no nub at all! :( last time I got about 5 pictures. I was nearly crying on the way out and my other half was annoyed. I haven't told him about the nub thing so he didn't understand why I was disappointed. But the baby is healthy and measuring big (14 weeks). I know my dates so I know that I ovulated at the right time so I think I'm actually only 13+2.
I didn't see any boy nubs but I didn't see a girl one either so I'm still non the wiser. I think I'm going to pay for an early gender scan in 2 weeks as there's no way I can wait until 20 week scan.

Sorry scan didn't go as you planned. It really is too early to really know by ultrasound. 18-20 is the most accurate as long as baby wants to cooperate. Still beats waiting till 40+ weeks lol

:( I could cry. I was so looking forward to multiple pictures to scrutinise and she only gave us this one. Do u think that's the nub that's sticking up? If it is it's definitely a boy. The picture underneath is the same its just a duplicate

Sorry your baby didn't cooperate bobster. Mine didn't either at my 14 week scan. But delighted that your little one is doing well.
Mine is not for another 18 hrs. 1 more sleep to go.

Bobster it doesnt seems like a nub. At this time cant be that obvious fot nub to stick out like this. Dont worry. I know easy to say than done. Book urself a private scan so u dont get all stressed out. I know its hard to wait

Pay for the early scan - I would. I found out early with the other 2 of my youngest ones, one at 17 (which was the earliest this company would do it), and then at an emergency scan (I had a bleed) at 14.5, she told me "yes is early, and yes they all start out with the same junk, but that's a boy". Not s doubt in her mind at 14.5.

Thanks guys. I really hope it's not a nub. I'm sure I didn't see it when she was doing the crown to rump length as I was looking closely. Also the profile looks different from my ds so that gives me slight hope. I looked into the private gender scans and they are £80 which is a lot but I may just do it as I desperately want to know. My 20 week scan isn't until the 3rd December which feels like forever away. I hope I don't get the same sonographer
