I guess I'll join. DTD on July 31st and O'ed early this morning. I'm hoping so desperately that I get a BFP this cycle. I have been waiting so long it seems! Ever since starting this sway last year I have super short LH surges so I feel like I may have been missing O. Going from 3-5 days of surging to 12-24 hours is nerve wracking since most of the time I O the same day I get the positive. Hopefully we DTD early enough this time :) For all four of my previous pregnancies I got PG the first month trying. It is so discouraging to go so long without a bfp :( I know there are women who TTC for over a year and I should count my blessings, but I never realized how utterly heartbreaking BFNs are.

Uggghhhh...the ovulation pain right now is so miserable. I guess I've been lucky this round of Clomid with little side effects but this is miserable right now. We got an attempt in this AM and will get another one in tonight, but it's a little hard to get prepared to DTD with this pain. Any tips from you ladies? Will a low heating pad help or it's best to just let it ride?

Not sure about the heating pad, but I don't think it will hurt anything. Just avoid NSAIDs (asprin, ibuprofen, ect.). O is an inflammatory process so NSAIDs can sometimes delay O.

Hi yaybaby I came across your first post in this aug 2ww thread and looks like we might be o buddies! I'm due to o Thursday or Friday got my first flashing smiley this morning! Lasr cycle I had two flashing b4 solid and cycle b4 that was three flashing b4 solid. Kinda hoping to o on friday which will be cd12 as worrying about oing so early in my cycle and therefore having much shorter cycles. Are you using opks and charting?

Does anyone know if Benadryl will delay O?
