Lolla - That was such a wonderful way to surprise dh. I m sorry it was a Cp but I am sure u will get your bfp very soon. It feels comforting when ur dh reassures u. Isn't it? Mine told me right at the beginning to not be disappointed when af shows up and that it will take time because it took us 6 months to conceive dd. I on the other hand thought what does he know? I have opks this time and I have got it all figured out. Duh [emoji849].
But the fact that I m not too bummed for not seeing a bfp so far is because he isn't expecting it soon. But that may change in the next two cycles.[emoji52]
Today my dd came bk from school and asked me if I have a baby in my tummy. I just died of cuteness. I told her not yet. She has been asking for a baby for so long now. I feel bad. The funny thing is when and if I do
Get a bfp, I want to hide it from her
until 12 weeks just so she won't be disappointed if it won't stick. She is such an emotional girl.

It would be to know if u are pregnant or not once the O happened. Like right way something pops up and says yes or no. [emoji23][emoji8][emoji8] But the most painful wait starts after getting a bfp. The wait to reach a safe mark, to get results from anatomy scan, bw and so on and so forth. I was worried when I had dd but this time, I am going to be a total nut case. [emoji853][emoji853]

Wow! I feel like I've just spent the last hour or so in the 'Twilight Zone'....

Not sure if anyone remembers but my usual gp is away till June so another doctor wrote the request for my bloods last week. So I booked to see her today. I get in there and tell her my symtoms seem to be fading since yesterday so could she write me another set of 48 bloods as well as the initial blood screening plus the referrals. This is where things got weird..... we had just gone through my mc history and she says to me 'are you trying to have a girl?' WTF!!!!!!!!! I said I couldn't care less if the baby was genderless as long as it stuck. She had a giggle then went on to tell me about when her cousin got pregnant she only wanted a girl and flat out did not want to have a boy. When her aunty (my doc's mother) told her she looked like she was carrying a boy her cousin booked an abortion but changed her mind. Meanwhile I'm shocked at where our consult has gone 😮 and said 'well it's out of your control what gender you have' to which she replied 'actually you can choose what gender you have. It's common practice in my country (Iran) there are cleanses (I bet she's referring to douching) and foods you can eat that are scientifically proven to choose gender. So now I'm thinking to myself hmmm I wonder what your username on gd site is 😂😂😂. I said to her then well there must be opposites regardless because otherwise there'd be problems with gender ratio to which she replied she thinks it's an unethical practice anyway.....end of consult.
I got my blood taken, went out to the car and burst out laughing!!! I even pinched myself to make sure I wasn't asleep and didn't dream that whole whacky appointment 😂😂😂

I should have my results in about 3-4 hours hopefully.

Lol pbn what a wacky appmnt indeed. At least you were able to get your bloods done. I don't know why people are so intrusive to others lives? It must just cone as 'common talk' but people don't realise ones situation.

I keep being told i 'just have to have a girl'. Umm it will happen if its meant to ill just try and get that in my favour.

Yep thats right Ash. Ill be on edge til then cause i just can't shake the feeling something is happening. Me and DH were not preventing 1 time but that was just a few days before af arrived full force so surely that couldn't count.

Sky. I skip supliments many times. But hopefully you were taking full of nutrients food which are boy friendly. I will see my doctor soon. I discussed with my hubby to visit doctor and wait at least a month to disclose to family. Let's hope he keep his mouth closed ;)

LSMS: yes he is very excited. And started caring for me. I feel good whenever get pregnant because then he cares more. May be I will go to see doctor in a day or two.

Hello Hun, sorry to barge in but it's worth noting that after your hug levels get to a certain number (which could be as low as the 1000's) the doubling time can then take longer than 48hrs, and you are still all good! :) good luck for your scan (are you having it at 6 or 7 weeks gestation?) x

Hi thanks kittybear! The numbers usually slow once they reach 6000 apparently :) I'll be getting my scan at 7 weeks gestation in hope of seeing a strong heartbeat. One of my mc's I had a scan at 6w4d and heartbeat was 102 which I initially thought was low but the u/s tech and my ob both said its fine. Turned out it wasn't in that case so really hoping for the reassurance of a strong hb this time :) Thank you for your message and feel free to drop in anytime!

Pbn, those numbers are fantastic!! So happy to hear and hope you relax a bit and enjoy your pregnancy (although I know so much easier said than done!).

I think this cycle is another cp. stick above is dried 10dpo, below is the 12dpo test I just took. 10 has a very faint double line, 12 does not. Calling my dr early this am for my clomid/femera and u/s.

Also, if any of you know...should I ask for any type of lab work early in my cycle? I have a feeling my estrogen and progesterone levels are off, but not sure when those can get tested. Thanks!!

Maxim you may want to ask for amh, fsh and lh testing done usually on cd3. As you probably know, progesterone is tested 7-9dpo (alot of people call it cd21 testing but that is assuming you have a 28 day cycle and o cd14). When is you appt?

All we did is put a small amount on my husband, I didn't use the applicator and it was too much. Definitely try it before your go time. I will only use it if we have too, like if for some reason I'm super dry [emoji854]

Kat, I just asked my sister who is also a doctor, she said progesterone or chromosomal abnormalities are typically the cause. I had progesterone issues with both pregnancies early on. I'm going to see if the ob will give me a test. So frustrating!!!
