No but the first time around my fingers would go numb a lot..it drove me nuts.midwife said nothing to be concerned about. Legs are more important though- lol. Have you asked your doc?
Nah... not a huge issue just an annoyance more than anything.

Lol! Everyone keeps telling me to be ready for drama with a girl--guess your girl's getting a head start! ;)
No numbness here, but the restless leg at night is killing me. I'm taking a bunch of magnesium, which helps a bit, but it's still giving me trouble at night. Having such a hard time sleeping. (And the three year old kicking me all night isn't helping! ha!)
Lol, guess so ;)
I get RLS from the benadryl I take to get to sleep (without it I would still be wise awake when the sun comes up as I have a pretty bad case of insomnia even when not preg). Fortunately, the benadryl knocks me out so I only have to deal with it for about 15-20 mins. Have u considered trying Benadryl? My OB says it's prefectly safe and the safest way to promote sleep outside of melatonin, which does nothing for me. About 4 hours later, when it wears off, sleep gets patchier but I know I get at least 4 solid hours of sleep each night.

Oy, only 4 hours?! What have you tried for your insomnia? The only time in my life I could "survive" on such little sleep is when I have a newborn because there isn't any other choice. Lol
It's not easy, and I generally get more than 4 hours... just not solid/consecutive. For example, last night I slept my usual 4 hours then woke up. Went to the restroom, sat on the side of my bed for awhile then laid back down. I woke up at 7 this am and could not get back to sleep... so total I think I got about 6'ish hours. I am really antsy about getting hooked on something so if not preg (when sleep is in short supply but needed more that usual) or TTC (kinda hard to temp if u don't sleep) I try to just ride it out. I will eventually go to sleep naturally it just screws with my schedule. Insomnia over summer break is really were it messes with me as I can't go/go back to sleep after the kids are at school. I do get a break from the insomnia periodically too. So it's just something I have learned to live with. I used to take PM meds, if I was hurting I would opt for something that knocks me out painkiller wise... stuff like that. There for awhile I used a script years ago, but had a lot more side effects from that and it only kinda worked. I much prefer the benadryl though since learning it knocks me out too. It's not habit forming, I have alergies anyway so bonus, it won't hurt the baby and it completely shuts my brain down (the cause of my insomnia is that my brain just won't shut up) so I am happy to just know that if I take it I WILL go to sleep, and not when my body says so. When I say so.

What a pain in the ass. Sorry:/ Have you looked into relaxation techniques? It wouldn't be an overnight solution but over time you could learn to "move" yourself into sleep with meditation techniques. Exercise does wonders too- I always sleep better when I get a good work out in. I'm sure you've tried it all but those two have helped me when I have had trouble.
