I m so sorry luvmyfam you are going through this. May God give peace to ur grandma.

I m 37+4 today. Count down is on. My ob is asking if i m gud she can do a sweep on Wednesday. I ll b almost 38 weeks. Should I do it?

If they do the sweep before you're ready it won't work and you run the risk of breaking your water.

Babies are supposed to cook till 39 weeks at least IMO so I would not do anything to bring on labor till after that point.

Thankyou Atomic. I will refuse to get a sweep. Thanks a lot for ur input. I m not in a hurry to bring her before she is ready. I m actually enjoying last couple of days[emoji39]
Obs should refrain to offer it. She is sayin she can only wait until 39 weeks and will schedule a section[emoji17]

Mommy to 5 with number 6 due in June!!

It's totally normal Throwaway Panther! I had false labor for 6 weeks before my DS1 finally came! He came 8 days past my due date. My OB swept my membranes that morning at 9:00am and had my first REAL contraction at. 9:00pm. He was born 6 hours later [emoji4]. I always say he needed a little coaxing. He still needs a little extra praise to this day!
