Wow dannikins, a 5 day cut off with J&D!! thatīs amazing! Did you conceive your boys around O or with cut-offs as well?
That really reminds me of Doulamamaīs sway: long cut-off+J&D+surprise pregnancy= girl! FXFXFX
And you had the flu too! To me that sounds even better than a planned sway.
I layed with hips elevated after DTD because I finally wanted to get pregnant, now I feel so stupid I did that.

my last 2 boys were 2-3 day cut offs, im not sure what the first 2 were because i wasnt charting with them, but we were doing it like rabbits so i guess it was straight through O, especially our first he was at least twice a day everyday.
this time was just the one time 5 days before O, and nothing for about a week before that.
also, all my boys were conceived in summer/fall and born in the spring.
this will be my first winter baby, conceived in the spring.
so hopefully we have done enough things differently this time ...:)
This time we dtd right on O, with my girls we were like rabbits. Dd1 was an oops & dd2 was planned, both my girls were born in summer, this one will be born in winter, in the end I believe ive done all I possibly could so if this ends up being dd3 then she was meant to be, I really hope my sway combination has worked though.

I do think this is one of the best ways to get through bad GD days! Focusing on what you love about your kids that has nothing to do with their gender... my DD2 is a total goofball too :) And DD1 is just the kindest most thoughtful 6 year old I've ever seen; she said the other day when we saw Santa that she knew it was just an elf (hee hee) but she wasn't going to tell that to DD2, because she wanted DD2 to believe it was really Santa.Quote:

Oh don't sweat it! I did that too and I'm having a girl! Even the best sways come down to the luck component and IMO that's the biggest part and there's nothing we can do to change it. Here's hoping you get your DD!Quote:

My good friend who found out #3 is DD1 announced today on FB. BOY did she get a HUGE difference in responses than I did. I haven't told ANYONE this time, but last time? All I did was announce "we're pregnant" & I had rude comments up the wah-zoo & no where near the # of comments she received. It's hard not to be sad when others are SO excited that she got their DG.
