As my periods are regular I just try to dtd on the day of ovulation and the day before as per FF. Just out of curiosity I test with opks. May be I am not doing the right thing to sway blue, let's see what others reply.

That is a good question, I'd wonder about that myself. I'd say the FIRST positive is the important surge. I'm sure there is an essay about it... let me look it up...here it is:Quote:

Update on myself (if anyone is interested): 13dpo now and slightly starting to feel positive as my usual spotting did not occur till now. Normally I get light spotting few days ahead of AF and that's due in 2-3 days. Also cramping has eased off. The bad thing that happened is that I caught a cold (in SUMMER!??) and that makes my temping rubbish. I'm feeling tired and hot the whole day (but no real fever), have a sore throat and congested nose. Interestingly I still am able to smell things. Could that mean an elevated sense of smell? I'm happy that I didn't test till now and was able to keep me that positive excitement. And that's mostly thanks to my kids that keep me distracted the whole day haha :running: :fight:
That's really a good sign aira22. I am glad you could control yourself without testing. When are you planning to do the test?
Sora, I sent a message to tech support about this. For some reason I often find your posts awaiting moderation and once I find them, I approve them but I don't know they are there until I stumble across them (so in threads like this one, where I don't regularly read it, I don't see it to approve them). Ha ha very true it's so exhausting! Good luck tkelly621. Did you ovulate yesterday? Also did you take any cough syrup? If so when should we start taking it? I just got Robitussin chesty cough syrup yesterday. But I see that Dextromethorphan isn't good and should be avoided if planning pregnancy.
It's okay, thank you anyway for looking into it atomic. Idk why that happens, when I came on the forum everything was fine at first and I very rarely had a missing post but now, I always get that moderation message even on my own thread. Sorry for asking so many questions girls. When we sway blue I think it's suggested husband releases every 2-4 days. So can we have sex after AF untill fertile period protected and then stop using protection during fertile period?
I am planning on having unprotected sex just 2 days before, day before and on the day of O.
Also constant smiley on CB is a positive surge? Should I also wait until I get dark like on internet cheapies?
Please let me know if I am thinking right to sway blue.
