11 to 5 pm - 1/2 gallon of crystal light and 2 diet sodas, keeps me from snacking :sigh:
6pm - plain noodles with veggies w/ some type of hot pepper spice
I have more weight to loose and not much time to do it... can't go for walks lately the thunder storms have started and I have an extreme fear of being hit by lightning again. So I have been doing 4 30min workouts with video's, and only 15 more lbs to loose.
No meat until I O, getting protein from none meat source... 4-6oz of meat after O... and praying for a BFP around Aug 10-15th and a big fat juice steak to make announcement to hubby!

I think today I didn´t risk to get not enough calories :worry: couldn´t stop eating at dinner. I had
decaf skimmed latte at 10.30
iceberg lettuce salad and GF pasta with oil and sirup for lunch, one kiwi, activia yoghurt
for dinner leeks and courgette rice, half a slice of Gouda cheese (was soo tastfull and salty), fat free yoghurt, 4 rice cakes with apple sirup and a piece of pie :bigsmile:
That´s 1340 cal, 35 g protein, 25 g fat without the pie, it´s home made and I´m too lazy to calculate all the ingredients.
Swish the dressing is a herbal dressing from Kraft, but I don´t know if you have it in UK. It´s basically water, vinegar, parsil, dill and concentrated leek juice (:worry:sorry don´t know how to translate that).
Happyheart I´m down at 105 and still ovulating, my cycle changed though.
My BMI is 17,6, this sounds really shocking to me, I really hope it will be for a very short time and I´ve managed to stay put at 105 now so that´s good.

Thanks swish - the tomato and mozzarella panini was much more of a treat to me than a bar of chocolate would be! It had 600mg of sodium in it but I hadn't had much earlier in the day so it didn't work out too badly - I think I could probably fit it in again for a treat. I considered only eating half but that would have been such a waste of money. I don't find the Waitrose basic range (whatever it's called) too expensive but it gets tricky down the wine aisle when there isn't anything under a fiver!

Swish and HappyHeart, thx so much for the support…It really means a lot. I know this is really tough for ALL of us! I think a lot of us are around 110 lbs…so crazy. I just dropped to 109 and I’m hoping I can keep it there until a BFP comes along. I know 4WildOnes got preggers and her BMI was like 17.3 or something crazy like that!!! I think it really depends on your body too as one BMI may be fine for one but for another it may be too low.

I'm back from the wilds of Northern Ontario and ready to try to get back on track with the diet. Today we were on the road for 10 hours, so I wasn't able to keep 100% to the diet.
Breakfast: coffee
Lunch: fries, salad (we were at a restaurant and they had a salad bar, so I got lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and carrots and put a tiny bit of vinagrette dressing on the side to dip things in). The fries probably tipped me over the edge for sodium today, but salad alone wasn't going to keep me going, and everything else on the menu was full of protein.
Snack: wild blueberries (I know - probably way too healthy for me to eat, but I bought some at a roadside stand and couldn't stop eating them as we drove), diet Coke
Supper: pasta with unsalted butter and parmesan, blueberry fudge (also bought on our trip) for dessert. I also admit I had a tiny piece of chocolate fudge - I couldn't resist! :oops:
Snack: peach, a little more blueberry fudge :oops:
So...not a great day. The fudge is swimming in fat, but I'm still in vacation mode and everyone else was eating it. Tomorrow I'll start tabulating my totals again so I can make sure I'm not overeating.
I'm pretty sure I still haven't O'd - no + OPKs and my cervix is still soft and open. DH and only managed to dtd twice while we were away, and now my Mom is staying at our place for the night, so even tonight is going to be tricky. He's also grumpy from the long driving trip, and he was sooooo not happy when I asked him to release on his own before we dtd tonight. He complained that it's all very awkward with my Mom here, which I agree with (though she and I went out for an hour, so I'm hoping he took care of business then), but I want to make sure I get all my attempts in before I O!

I had to take some time to think about things. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts on the matter :HH: I was a bit lost in the fog of GD and needed to figure some stuff out. I am going to give this the best shot I can. No HT for me. I don't think I could live with it after the fact. I've also talked to my hubby about something that was bothering me even more- stopping after #4. I'm not totally certain that I'll be done....I may want *gasp* 5 kids..... He's got 3 siblings, I have 1 and I know that 4 is a lot of kids but I really love having kids, and I don't want to look back and regret ot having one more. He's not saying no...he's just saying "we'll see" which is fantastic:) Anyway, I was SOOOOO good while I was away from the boards but today has been AWFUL! I haven't tracked anything....and I think I've eaten twice my daily limits! LOL! I feel like a stuffed pig and actually feel a little sick to my tummy after surviving on nothing this past week. So, back to the grind. I think we've pushed back my TTC date to Oct/Nov now just to give me time to lose as much as I can. I feel a bit better knowing I have more time to nurse my littlest, lose weight and get this diet stuff right although I really do want to be preggo with all of you guys! I know I'll be the last one on here to get pregnant but, oh well.

DM - good for you for taking the time off when you needed it and for talking things through with DH. I know that 4 children is plenty for us. In fact, I'm happy at 3 but I've never tried for my girl and I have to try - I'm excited about another little boy too though so all will be well. FWIW, you're doing the same regarding the weight loss as I am. I feel it's something I would look back on and wonder about if we had another boy - but if I weigh less than I did with my other pregnancies and I lose a lot in the months before our attempt then I'll have no regrets. Our first attempt will be September but we're going to do everything for the first couple of months and only ease up on a few aspects if we're not pregnant by then - so we may very well be ttc at the same time!

Dinner: KFC fries in fibre added white wrap with ketchup :D

This morning I am making italian fry bread... no salt but it does need olive oil. I plan to eat it with nothing on it.
Doulamama, I´m sorry you´re on the other side of the globe, otherwise I would visit you and we could chill together :happy: that´s striking that we´re so similar, I guess that´s why we have our boys.
OOTB I can´t believe it either that I´m so thin, I have always been normal weight and never cared about my figure or what I ate.
I´m doing everything I can to get a BFP this or next cycle, my sway is basically the diet and zyrtec and that´s it.
I had my usual mushroom iceberg lettuce salad, GF pasta and activia for lunch
and for dinner a piece of spinach ricotta quiche with white rice, a fat free yoghurt and a piece of cake.
Mmm, I´m noticing I didn´t have any fruit today, I should tomorrow.
BOY is there a lot of fat in a quiche crost :suprise:, I always thought this was one of our healthy meals!
That´s 1540 cal, 36 g protein and 37 g fat.
I'll feel comfortable if I'm 11st (154lb) or under at the beginning of our attempt month. I'm pretty sure that's my lowest pre-conception weight and whilst I'd prefer to weigh a bit less I'm not happy to wait any later than September as I would really prefer this baby to be no more than 2 school years younger than DS3 - otherwise the age gaps get rather unbalanced! I also expect to lose more in the month of our attempt by cutting back even more around O and if we don't get pregnant first attempt (I don't expect to - DH does!) I'll weigh less the next month! I'm currently 11st 11lb!
P - that fry bread sounds sooooo yummy! Hope it came out well!
Indira - I'm banking mostly on the diet as well...We'll be using just a little bit of RepHresh, Sylk (b/c I need a lube at this point) and BD from AF to O + 2 days just to make sure. I'm thinking your sway sounds super for a BFP in Aug!!!

I'm a little concerned about my calories creeping up just as I'm ovulating (I normally eat around 1200). I don't want to gain weight now after all those hard-earned pounds lost! I think I'm going to freeze that fudge so it's not on the counter tempting me and I'll save it for a post-BFP treat.
It's luscious, rich vanilla fudge made with full-fat cream and lots of other goodies, and it has real, fresh blueberries dotting the top of it. Mmmmmmmmmm.......
On another note- I was really good yesterday. Under all my limits for everything except cals- I was at 1400. Still lost weight:) down a complete 7lbs!! Feels so good to be getting smaller! Yay!

Indira, sometimes Oing just happens...:oops: I don't really know how much it even matters and I know you've been swaying hard so don't give it (or anything else) a second thought. Now you're in the 2ww so just try to coast and hopefully try to distract yourself from testing too soon... I know, easier said than done!
Clitoral clense - you've coined a phrase there DM :giggle: So funny! Well, I've cut right back but because I'm trying to relax about the whole thing and not to see it as a challenge there have certainly been some :oops: I'm pretty sure I'll be too preoccupied to enjoy DTD when we're actually trying so that shouldn't be an issue!
TMI again - DH woke me in the night earlier this week and at 2am or whenever it was (why do they do that?!) he says to me 'you're very dry' and I reply 'that's what the girl diet is meant to do to you' and I'm led there all chuffed about it!! It's certainly never been an issue before.
Anyway, back to food (it always comes back to food with me!). Well done on the weight loss DM, that's fantastic! I have around 1200 cals most days but 2 days each week I up that to 1400 cals and that really seems to help with the weight loss. I do it part way through the week and again at the weekend. Today was a 1400 day :D
Lunch: Roasted veg couscous snackpot with a little melted goat's cheese (didn't like this - some ended up in the bin!), 100g Onken fat free strawberry yogurt, bakewell tart, 2 sweets.
Dinner: Rice pasta with kids tomato and cream pasta sauce, 2 caramel rice cakes, jam tart, 1 sweet.
Supper: 1 piece toast with Flora light and sugar free jam.

The worst part was that I didn't know if dh would want to dtd before or after his baseball game, so I took 2 Benedryl at about 8pm to cover both possibilities. By the time he came home at 11pm, I was practically comatose. I had been trying to stay awake for hours, but every time I sat down I started to snooze. Man, does that stuff knock you out!
I think I may be ovulating right around now. I just checked and my cervix is getting firmer and there's some creamy cm. I just did an OPK and it's still +, but I think last time it stayed + for several days after I knew I had O'd. Does that happen to anyone else? I don't temp, so sometimes I worry I interpret my clues incorrectly and I actually O later than I think.
I know I had a positive result the day my temp went up
I´m starting to struggle...but managed to control myself today.
I will look into baby meals tomorrow because I really need something new or I´ll fall off the boat.

Are you taking Vitex? Sorry…can’t remember! If so, I think Vitex has a tendency to induce strong OPKs in some women. Mine last time was very similar. YAY…You did it!!! Now it's the 2ww!!! :luck:

I feel good about my chances for a BFP, but not great about my sway. We dtd at 6 days before O, then 3, 2 and 1 days before O. We did frequent BD, but there was one night we didn't get around to dtd until 5:30 in the morning, so I'm worried that dh's sperm count rose by then. We also missed one day releasing, but dh claims he released before we dtd that night. My diet hasn't been great this last month, with this past weekend being the worst.
However, we're in the middle of a record-breaking heatwave here, with humidex ratings approaching 50 degrees celsius. We don't have a/c, so I've been hot all week. That could work in my favour, right?
Hey, Ladies - here's today for me:
Breakfast: coffee
Lunch: rice with a tiny bit of feta, plain yogurt, cilantro and a few pieces of roasted red pepper mixed in. Not very good, sadly. I also had a peach, 3 tiny yellow plums and some raspberries (today was farmer's market day so the house is full of fruit)
Supper: 3 half bagels with low sodium tomato sauce, mushrooms and a tiny bit of low fat mozzarella cheese melted on top, 2 small cobs of corn
Snack: I brought a friend out for drinks and dessert for her birthday. I got a cranberry & soda to drink, and a blood orange sorbet as my dessert, so it didn't end up really being a cheat except for the fact that the juice brought my calories up a bit above my usual amount.
Snack2: When I got home I was starved after watching people eat food at the restaurant. I had two sliced pickles since my sodium was very low for the day, then also had two sugar free cookies. I don't know if it's because I ovulated today, but I've been starved all day! I know I shouldn't have had this second snack, but I couldn't resist!
Calories: 1506
Protein: 45g (a bit higher than I would like - I blame the bagels, which are pretty high in protein. I'm disappointed my lunch rice was no good because I wasted 8g of protein on that!)
Sodium: 887mg
I hid the fudge in the fridge today so I managed to avoid eating it. I think I may freeze what's left to enjoy once I get my BFP.
