I got my date scheduled for C-section, it will be either 15th or 17th of July to be confirmed by Doctor. All is well and I am getting very excited to meet my little girl, specially now with all these cuties popping all over the place!

Momof3- sweet twins : )
Grease/Maria, hoping all is well with you and your baby girl x
Same here, she's dropped already, tummy is very low and Doc says she's in the right place. Going into week 36. I was surprised because Aidan didn't drop until week 40! I guess this one is in a bit of a hurry. She'd better wait another 3 weeks, that's all I ask!
Momof3- congratulations! They are really cute!
Hope everyone else is doing well and looking forward to more baby pictures!
We are doing good. She is such a mild mannered baby and only gets up once a night. She is such a sweetheart.
Good luck to everyone still waiting!
Maria I hope you and baby are doing well!! Sending lots of prayers your way!!
Momto3boyz - congratulations!!!!!! What little cuties!!!
Oh congratulations x 2 mumof3boyz! Great weights! You did very well there! They are lovely!
Hope your doing ok grease. I got admitted yesterday with my bp but was only in for 7 hours. Hope you get out soon xxx
Hi girls, this is an update from our dear friend Greasemonkey/Maria, she was admitted in hospital with severe pre-eclampsia. Her precious little daughter Emah Helena Eby was born at 32 weeks weighing 2lbs 6oz. She is a little cutie (I'm sure Maria will post pictures as soon as she's feeling well again) and had an APGAR of 9 out of 9, a very strong little girl. She is also breathing on her own but will stay in the NICU until she's at least 5 lbs. Maria is very happy to have her little girl in her arms but she is still unwell and in her own words 'I am very sick with BP issues and they are afraid I am going to have a stroke if I don't get it under control', so your prayers and thoughts are appreciated in this difficult time for her.
Thanks for the update, have been thinking of her. Gee she's been through a lot lately! 😕
Exciting news about her little girl, sounds like a strong little fighter.
Send Maria my love and I hope they get her BP under control soon. xx
Oh wow. Thanks for the update on maria. Man, the girl's been through so mu chin lately vut so happy to hear that the baby is doing so well
I also had pre e and gave birth to my lil guy at 33 wks. Preemies are fighters and definitely survivors. He has surpassed all his friends I n weight n height
Oh poor Grease!! I followed her little boys ordeal and now this?! Poor family!
Hope she's alright and glad her baby is doing well:)
Dear grease, congrats on your little girl! Hope she remians doing so well! That must give you a lot of rest.
If only you will go through the first 72 after birth, you will be at minor risk for having a stroke. I'm sure they monitor you well. Wishing you a healthy recovery!
Thanks for the update!! So scary but glad that lil girl is doing so well! Hope Grease gets better quick!! <3

Grease- get well soon. And congratulations on your spirited girl!
Any news from Grease? I always get nervous when one's quiet.
Praying everything is ok...
Hi girls, got good news from Maria/Grease this morning, this is from her
"Looks like I might be going home tomorrow!! Blood pressure has been lower so that's great!! Still in moderate pain but since I can't take oral medication I will have to suffer through it!!! Emah is also doing well and will go see her later in the day!"
It sounds like things are improving :) Hopefully she'll be around soon to tell us all about it. So relieved!
Thanks for the update Aidansmum. Glad to hear she will be ok.

Hi all! Aidansmum thanks for the update on Grease & her baby so happy to hear that things are going good for them!
Had my 36 week apt today baby is head down & ready to go. Already 2cm dialated & Dr thinks I could go in to labor at any point. Really can not get over how quickly this pregnancy has gone & really how many emotions I have gone through between swaying than finding out baby was a boy & now. Very excited to meet this little man, he seems to have lots of personality already. DD seems to finally be OK with having another brother so now I guess I just sit back & wait for him to decide to come!!
Hope everyone else is doing good also!
I went to mine last week and I was shocked when Dr said she had already dropped and was very low! Aidan didn't drop until week 40. I hope she's not thinking about coming early. I guess we'll be having our bubbas pretty close together, can't wait to see your little boy! x
Can't wait to see your little girl also! BTW did you schedule your C-section date yet? I love 7/17 that is DS3's bday ;)
It is actually scheduled for 17/7!!!! What are the odds??? :) I am a bit in 2 minds though and wondering if I should push for the week after, reason being she will be 38 weeks + 4 days and I heard bad things can happen if you get them out before 39 weeks unless you have to? My Doctor came up with the date and he thinks is safe and says she is good size for gestation etc but I feel a bit uneasy, I would rather wait another 4 days or so, will talk to him next week about it. I guess he's a bit concerned that if we don't do it then she might make an appearance before we have a chance to do a C-section as he doesn't like the idea of going into labor AND having a CS. He says that considering my last traumatic delivery, age, etc I shouldn't tire my body with labor pains before going for a CS and that just turning up for the CS is safer. And because she has dropped and I have been shedding mucus plug he would rather not push it. Now I am unsure as to what to do. I trust him but you do hear horrible stories about babies being born before 39 weeks and having trouble breathing. :worry:
That is a tough one. Of course your dr should know what is best but you have to trust your gut also. I think a lot of times when babies are born at 38 weeks & have problems its cause their dates were off. Being we all swayed I think we should all be pretty accurate on dates but if something is telling you to wait than you should def listen to yourself! I have my fingers crossed for you!
I go back & forth between hurry up & be born already & than no wait until week 39. We have a ton to do this month & I feel so out of control with not knowing what little man will do. Can't decide if & when to do a bday party for ds3 or just skip it. Plus my DD has a 3 day softball tournament where we will be out in the heat for hours & dr's appts with the other kids... Everything is just so up in the air!! Have to remind myself everything will happen when its meant to!
You're right about the swaying and gestation accuracy, I know exactly when she was conceived so it shouldn't be a problem. I trust my Doctor but I will still talk to him about it next week for peace of mind.
It does sound like you have a very busy time in the near future, at least it will keep your mind off labor and due dates, maybe being busy is better, no time to feel anxiety :)
This seems like some good info on why they say 39 weeks tends to be best:
Why at least 39 weeks is best for your baby | March of Dimes
but you are only talking about a few days there, so maybe that isn't a big deal.
I hope my baby is born at 39-40 weeks... I'm not ready yet but it is hot and I feel big. I am looking forward to be finished with work next Monday so I can have some time to rest and get ready!
Thanks for the article Gafan. I guess 39 is the magic number. Doctor wants to book for thursday and she turns 39 weeks on sunday, that's 3 days too early, it doesn't sound like much but it does worry me, I guess I will ask if we can leave it for the following week.
Sorry to butt in but saw this thread on TapaTalk :-) Anytime after 37 weeks is considered full term and so I wouldn't worry at all especially if it's your doctor recommending it. My DS2 was born at 36 weeks and no difference in health than with his 2 brothers (42 weeks and 40 weeks). Just enjoy the last few days of pregnancy :-)

37 weeks is now considered late pre-term, not full term & are known to have more issues.
I have no idea why you need a cesarean, aidansmum, or why the dr is worried about the effect of labour on your body, but In making your decision you should know that going into labour, even if you're having a cesarean, it's far better for the baby. It makes it far less likely your baby will be early & will have some of the benefits of labour hormones, decreasing risks of breathing issues.
Most drs are still not following the March of Dimes' recommendation, unfortunately.
Good luck AM! Your getting close now. I know ACOG in the states recently changed the guidelines as the poster above stated. They won't do csections or induce until full term now, 40 weeks here. Unless there is a medical reason too. I'm sure your dr. Knows what's he is doing, but I can understand your worry too. I was surprised because of the new guidelines if I didn't go before my due date they wouldn't induce me until 4 days post due date! Thank goodness I went.
You ladies are so close!! Can't wait to hear of your new arrivals.
AM - I think you are safe either way. Thousands of babies are delivered before that date. My first son came at 36 weeks and was healthy as could be (I knew my dates). I know with some C-sections, the doctor doesn't want them going into labor at all and that depends on why they are having the C-section. I have a friend that her doc didn't want her to at all because last delivery the baby was stressed and the way her body was...but there are varying reasons. It just depends on why you have the feeling you want to wait....typical mommy worries or intuition?? Hope you guys can agree on something!
Hope everyone else is well! Love hearing updates :)

All is well here! This is my 33+5 belly! Feeling enormous!
Friday my maternity leave starts.
Aidansmum, follow your instinct. Here in the netherlands they don't do cs very often, although it has raised recently to 12%. Induction is almost never done before 41 weeks. Maybe that's the result of the system, with primary care midwifes who aren't allowed to induce and thus will wait longer.
I would always opt for a natural birth if, big if, it's possible.
Don't know your medical history, so that why i say if :-)
Bigwish, you're not enormous at all! Such a cute bump! But I know what you mean, I was told last week my bump looks small for gestation and I was shocked because I feel massive! :)
As for the C-section, it was decided because of nasty complications with my last labor, it was traumatic and it scarred me and I don't want to go through that again, even if there is a slight chance of it happening again, it would make me anxious and stress me out, so the Doctor offered a C-section and by reading a lot and talking to mums who had a CS I opted for a CS. My Doctor said that waiting for labor to start to then have a CS can bring more complications than starting one a bit earlier, and for what I've read I think he's right, I don't want to go into labor but would like to wait until week 39 because of evidence of babies breathing better from 39 weeks. It is not intuition, it's just me being overcautious but I make no apologies for worrying about it, who wouldn't? If he can push it just a few days later, say 4 or 5, I'll be happy. :)
And please note, the CS would be performed at 38 1/2 weeks as per his suggestion, not 37! I believe no elective CS should happen before 38 weeks!
Aidansmum, sounds like a very well informed decision.
I'm sorry your last delivery was so traumatic, you wouldn't expect that with a third child, would you?
