Starting to think may is not my month either. Had light spotting yesterday (7 dpo) and still spotting today 8 dpo. Not even the most optimistic part of me can hope for it to be IB since every cycle has been like this. Starts lightly and then gets heavier until it turns to AF at 10-11 dpo. :sad:

Thanks yogi. Also took a test this morning (before having spottings) and it was negative. Know it's early, will now try not to test anymore until I see what happens with the spottings.
Opk's are negative now. Wish I'd BD'd last night. Pretty sure I ovulated last night (Friday night). I had mild cramping. Do you think there's any chance that Wednesday night would have been ok timing or too early?? And tonight would be too late wouldn't it? 😕
Mum - if you ovulated last night and BD wednesday night it sounds like great timing. The swimmers should survive 48 hours :-)

Girliedreamz, Boysway and yogi - hope your DHs can manage something today and you get your attempts in. I didn't realise what pressure it put them under. I asked mine if I shouldn't tell him about it but he said he wanted to know. He thinks we should BD today and tomorrow too to be sure.....errrr I don't think so!! Think he was joking though, DS will be awake all morning before he leaves for the party, I'll be asleep tonight when he gets back and there's no way I'll be up for it after his party so that's it thank you very much ;)

I came down with DS's cold last night. DH has had it a couple of days, for once I don't mind as it helps with the sway lol. Also painted my nails this morning, figured it can't hurt eh!
I've had the kids cold too, hope it helps. And attempted to paint my nails but I'm so not girly that it looks like the kids did it! Lol. 😉
I used clear nail varnish on my fingers and just topped up my toes with red. No point doing colour on fingers as I mess it up and don't have time to wait for it to dry! Plus all the cleaning washing up etc it doesn't last long!
Just a quick check in as it's after 2am here and I need to go to bed asap since tomorrow is DS2's 5th birthday party! It's a triple birthday party with 2 other friends of his whose birthdays are all the same week. It's turned into a HUGE party with over 130 people. My mom is staying with us this weekend to help out and me, her, DH, and DS1 stayed up tonight and made 300 fruit skewers! I'm sooooo tired! We're having a taco guy at the party so I'm sure I'll be eating a ton! It's Rio2 themed (the movie) and we're having a bounce house, bird show, and photo booth! So crazy!!!!
I was 11dpo today and have not tested in over 24 hours. My SurePredict test last night at 10dpo was BFN with no shadow or anything. I only have one SurePredict test left, one FRER, and 3 CB digitals. Not sure if I should take a test before bed right now or tomorrow at 12dpo. If no BFP by tomorrow then I think I'm out for May. Which would be too bad since I've only exercised ONCE in the past 11 days!!!! And I'm pretty sure I've been over the LE limits for the past week!

Maybe take the FRER tomorrow with 2nd MU if you have time or enjoy the party tomorrow and then test the next day.
Haha! It's just because it's a birthday party for all 3 boys and the kids go to Montessori school so the class size is big-- 35 kids per class and it's 2 classes that were invited. So 60+ kids plus their parents/siblings = A LOT!!! Besides the school kids, I only invited my mom and 3 of my friends from home. Should be fun but all the planning has worn me down and I've had a sore throat for 3 days!Quote:

MumofSix, looooots of people get pregnant on a 2 day cutoff. Some people even believe it sways girls :D GL!!
Have never had that issue with DH but also have never used OPKs or Timing before. I probably wouldn't tell him what day is Ov if it made him nervous ;D

ppl How are you guys feeling? I've been cranky all month now. around ovulation I felt a bit better but today I'm at my worst.. i've spend almost all day in bed.... what a waste....
I've lost some mucus yesterday with a little strain of old blood in it. (ovulation bleeding? never had that before... but I had major O pains... this month. Had O pains before but so painfull for 3 hours that I couldn't stand straight. never had that before... )
I stopped vitex this month.. guess it changes my mood also (taken it for over a year)

I've been super cranky all month too!
Sore boobs, nauseous, irritable. Pretty much describes me right now. Extra irritated because I thought I ordered tests that picked up 10mIU but instead bought 30 - 25mIU tests. If I put in the day I think I ovulated on FF it says I'm 13dpo and I got a bfn with smu. I feel total yuck and like I'm definitely pregnant, but I think since I feel that way AF will probably show in a day or two. I really hope not all of my cycles are 40 freaking days long, it's going to drive me insane.
I think I would feel like getting insane too. I feel like that atm.
I'm on my fifth month now. It feels like a eternity. maybe it is just the TTC-ing. that makes me feel like this. I think i felt this way in the cycle I got pf with my eldest son as well.. (if i recall correctly)

Oh, ladies... I am almost afraid of actually saying this out loud (knock on wood) but I think I have a line!!
Tested again 1 hour ago with very dark urin (only held 2 hrs but didn't drink much today, it was much more concetrated now than for my morning test). For the first time ever during all this crazy testing DH actually sat and stared at the test after taking it, and when he said: "Where am I supposed to see it, is it there, where the pink is starting to show?" I realized it wasn't only my eyes seeing something.
It is not strong, but clearly visible (and came up within 2 minutes) and for being 8 dpo I wouldn't expect it to be stronger.
I don't wanna scream it out yet since I had lines last month too, but this one is at least stronger and turned up really fast. Will test again as soon as possible (if not tonight so tomorrow morning) and I really hope it won't be white. Had a small spotting this morning as well (I saw it firstly yesterday morning so pleeeease let it be IB and not bad spottings that could disturb an implanted egg) but now nothing more.
Had a bit of cramping and a funny feeling in my nipples so that's why I decided to have another test.
I'll update later when I have another test taken.

I am in here for sure now. Just got a super super super dark positive on my opk. I've never had one this dark before. We attempted two days ago and are thinking of attempting again tonight since it wasn't positive until probably late last night. I'm nervous there won't be enough sperm if my egg doesn't drop for another day or so.

Rosie, would you consider last nights test as positive or almost positive? Did you get pregnant with any cut off last time? So hard to advise, but normally I think the swimmers do live for at least 3 days.

It's not just you sweetdreams, ttc makes time drag so bad. Just waiting for DH to give in to ttc #3 seemed to take a million years. Now we're actually trying and I thought it would go quicker, but it's even slower -_-;;;

I have gotten pregnant with a 5 day cut off before but there was a lot of attempts before it so I'm uneasy about having so little sperm. We did it in the shower so I was standing and it ran out a ton. Last month was the shower and a 2 day and we got pregnant. Ugh I just wish we never did it on thursday!!!
If you do it in the shower and then wash away what you can that might be a good compromise?

Back again, took another test just now (Clearblue plus) and got a line immediatly. Line came up even before the test line so it has to be real, right??

I understand it is a tough one Rosie. Stephs suggestion might be a good compromice to keep the sperm on the lower side? On the other side you conceived easily last month, at first try, right? So from that view you probably don't have to worry too much if you have a few days cut off since. Oh, I can't advice you, I wish I had something more clever to say!Quote:
