Well, the cookie bake was a success. I was so sick of smelling sweets though....yuck. I think I inhaled 1,000 calories :)
My mother is not happy with being team green. She wants to know if the tech will just tell her the gender. She is just going to have to wait until June like the rest of us. Another busy week, DH's birthday is Friday and then X-mas eve with my family. We are going to do schoolwork through this week and have next week off. Next week.....ahhhh.

What I mostly get is "you must be almost there" nope not even close lol

Glad your baking was a success but yeah after a zillion batches of cookies the last thing you want to do is eat any.

My in-laws were crazy annoyed we didn't find out with dd1. I gotta admit I kinda loved that it tormented them so lol

3p1b my girls cant wait till tomorrow they really want to see their ltl baby brother or sister, they asked if we can find out gender tomorrow
& I said no we have to wait 6 more weeks for that grr.

Wp thanks for that, ive been told she gets more gender predictions wrong then she does right anyway.

Going to my parents place for xmas lunch, I love my mums cooking, cant wait!

I have my 33 wk on Thursday and my girls get to come with me for the first time since my 20wk, they are so excited! Will your girls get to go with when you do get to find out?

Had my u/s today, was such a wonderful experience, my girls were so so excited, my dh & I got emotional.

So the skull looks boy for sure, different to my girls, placenta is on the right I asked the tech, heart beat was 150, my girls were 160 & 163, whther that helps any, but ladies im leaning towards a boy for us, im trying not to get too excited but its hard not to, regardless of what the gender one thing is for sure, im so in love.

Omg yay!! Sounds so good!.what about the nub theory??

Couldnt see any nub tink, but guess we'll find out in 6 wks time, I hope by seeing my baby that my feeling is right! But if im wrong I dont care just seeing my baby in there just made me feel so much love, honest to God, it was just amazing, to actually see the looks on my girls faces made everything ok.

CA what lovely news xxx Ultrasounds are so special aren't they, especially the 2st when we get to see how real it all is!! Sounds good for a blue for you! but I'm sure you've fallen for that little person already lol:)

You guys are killing me with the u/s for the rest of the week....I am going to have to come back on and check again. I hope Tink and 3p1b have some pics.

Wp the boys skull is suppose to look more flat at forehead & more rounded & the girl is more pointed at the forehead & more oval, but in saying that, ive had a look at the confirmed boy u/s pics & some of them look seriously girly, so dont put too much stock into this.

Just when i saw my baby on the screen first i though wow its all real now & gorgeous, then 'boy' just came to me as much as i was thinking girl before the u/s, but i still could be wrong, time will tell.

I dont know about the skull thing...Ava's and this one look the same. Like you said girls and boys look the same! I agree. I cant even wait till fri! it goes down at 11 AM PST!! I will post as soon as I know! I can barely control myself.

Wow Tink your lucky, I dont get another scan till Im 19weeks grrr.

Got our photos taken with Santa the other day, my goodness the girls look so grown up! Years are just flying by & Im so looking forward to be doing it all over again with our new baby.

Tink- omg finding out tomorrow?! 11am, hooray! I plan to stalk you :bigsmile: fx you'll be a psycho like me and post before they've even finished lol

WP- I don't really know if they look terribly different. Here's two of my girls and the third is Charlie.

Well interesting development here, I'm measuring 37-38 wks even through I'm only 33. I have an u/s scheduled for Jan 4th to find out if he's giant, if I've got a lot of fluid or what. I'm a little nervous because I've never measured big but not to worried as my biggest baby was only 7lbs 4 oz. I'm 5'8" so I could totally handle a much bigger baby.

CA I am so glad you enjoyed your scan! FX your gut is right and you've got your blue bean in there. I had no idea on skull, but I was definitely hoping based on my placenta (right)/heartbeat (150) that it was a boy for me ... the OWT's only let me down harder so I'd try really hard not to place anything in them. I know you know that :) And I hope they are 100% right for you!!!

Jen I'm measuring ahead too! By 2 weeks as of my last appointment and u/s. All looks good though in terms of fluid levels so I'm probably just having another big one (last DD was 9lbs 2 oz) ... I'm scheduled for another scan 1/12 and will likely have them every 2-4 weeks from here on out. I bet everything is a-ok with you and Charlie; he might just be a fat baby :)

Omg B I would love a fat baby! I'm trying not to worry but then, like an idiot, I googled lol

Not sure where to post this since the "Post your BFP!" thread seems dead since October, so I'll post here! I got a BFP on Dec. 22nd! EDD Sept 2, 2012! I'm over the moon! And praying for a :BabyBoy: little brother, but trying to prepare myself if it's not. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

We had a great Christmas and now I need to make an appointment with my midwife. I can't wait to see the baby, but I am afraid the tech will show me the goods on accident.....maybe that wouldn't be a bad thing.

Wp- early would be nice actually. I've had 2 run a week late and that sucks. I'm hoping not too early though, I really want a Feb baby. I still feel shorted by my oldest being born at 12:50 am on March 1st when she was due Feb 22nd. That'll be my luck he'll come Jan 31st at 11:59 pm lol

Tink- Welcome to the club, I don't think I'll believe till I personally see the goods. I'm even going to ask them to check again when they are measuring lol

haha 3P when I was pregnant with Ava. I was so afraid she would come out with a penis that when she came out first thing I did was turn her around to look at her girl parts. I wanted a girl so bad!!! Now I want my boy soo bad I will probably do the same thing.

I had my first OB/GYN appointment. It was pretty boring lol...just paper work, lab work, I got weighed, got my blood pressure, etc. My next appointment is Jan 10th and they will do an u/s then. I can't wait.

:wave: HI iluv, great to see you again. How is everything?

MFC: I hate the bloodwork. I normally do it after the u/s ....just because I can not stand it.

Tink: Your so funny. I am not going to lie, I am going to try and sneak a peek, but I really would love a surprise.

I finally made my first appt. with my midwife for Jan 3rd. I was hoping to bump it back to the next week, but she really wanted me to come in. I know you guys think I am crazy, but once you start going, you have to keep going every month. I have a doppler and listen to the baby's h/b every few days. I guess I just don't feel like driving for an hour for them to listen to the baby's h/b, too. Plus, I have to take the children to my inlaws and it ends up being a whole day event.....blah. But the u/s makes it worth it. I wonder if this baby will be a mover and shaker like my last one, the u/s tech could barely get any pics. The children can not wait for a pic. DD3 thinks I am going to come home with the baby, though.....they always do this until the end. "Are you going to have the baby today Mom"...."NO, she is only the size of an apple", and it continues until 40wks , Lord please don't let me go overdue!

Tink- dh and I joke constantly we'll be looking at balls first, face second lol

Iluv- glad to hear from you again!

MFC- yeah the first appt is so boring, very anti-climactic without a heartbeat or u/s. oh and Aug babies rock!

WP- I don't think you're nuts at all. My appts were crazy close in the beginning because of my m/c but now I'm going much less often then. You're an old hand at this, you know what you're going to hear.
Dd3 does the same thing every time I tell her we're going to the midwife "Mommy are we getting the baby out today?". DD2 asked if daddy was bringing the baby home today when I was pregnant with dd3, I love their little minds lol
