2xblue I can see a line! I had a line like that on an IC with DS1 at about 11dpo. I think your O was delayed as sometimes you can get an OPK+ but O later, it has happened to me.
Don't worry too much about drinking as it is more of an issue when you are further along, I think around 7-8wks is more of a risky time for drinking.
I will be taking another frer test tonight at about 10pm wish me luck.. loosing hope now

I bought a frer test today & if my temp doesn't drop tomorrow I will use it. Been feeling queasy on & off this arvy & feeling quite queasy now. I think I must be either preg or getting sick cause I don't feel quite right.

2xblue I can see a pink line on that test! It looks darker than the other one you posted. I think you just o'ed later than normal and you're not as far into the TWW as you think. FX for a BFP next test!
Farmgirl those symptoms sound promising! Hopefully you're pregnant and not getting ill!
So sorry Pinkin. Maybe wait a day or 2 and see what happens and retest with FMU.

2xblue-I can also see a faint line!! Woohoo!! Don't worry about the alcohol. I've heard the same thing about baby not sharing our blood till 5/6 weeks also. I sometimes get throw away cups and put FMU in them and then get some tests when I do school drop off :)

Thank you TaytumJ (super cute girl name btw ;) Pbn3 and Has2 for posting your charts. It makes me feel better or at least have a better understanding of charting. My big dip seemed like something was interfering with my temp but other than the way I sleep I was pretty sure it was right. I don't know if I was mouth breathing or not? I'm going to try to investigate that now. Today I don't fully trust my temp. Moved around with kids all night but it did go back up.

That's a pretty good rise, dpike. It looks a like like my bfp with DS1. I used to panic about every drop, but my midwife said that a dip like that can just mean the body is switching from progesterone sources. I suppose the fact that I temp "the other way" haha helps since I know it's never from mouth breathing.

Nann - you got lots of attempts in, well done. I only got 3 in due to dh being sick.
My temp dropped a bit this morning down to 36.07, not below cover line but yesterday it was 36.38. Thinking I should save my frer until Saturday if Af doesn't show instead of potentially wasting it.

10dpo.. Another faint line this am. But I cant see it turing into a bfp .. It will be an evap. My lines come up straight away I used to think evaps happened after the time frame but mine have clearly been evaps.
I seriously hate this is just so unfair.
I know you may not want to pinkim but van you put up a pic please. Evap lines do not have colour and that is why we were all convinced we seen a proper line on you 8dpo test - it had colour. I'm sorry you are going through this :(
It's not an evap if it comes up right away. That's a positive. It might be an early positive or a chemical, but it's not an evap. I'd give it two or three days and test again. 10dpo is still VERY early considering the egg probably didn't even implant until 6 or 7 dpo.

Pinkin - really have my fingers crossed that it darkens for you. But yeah I always thought a line even if faint is a positive if it comes up within the time. I could see a line on the tests you put up a couple days ago.
Well I caved & tested using fmu & got a faint line on a frer. It came up within a couple of minutes. Dh could see it too. I took a digi but it said not pregnant so hoping my levels just aren't high enough yet.

A digital didn't register for me until 2 days after my first faint line. So give it a few days and just do frers.
Pinkin I promise I had bfn between most of my BFPs too and it's not an evap if it comes up in the fist few mins. Give yourself a few more days and you'll get more answers. There are lines there so either it's chemical or you got a slow BFP, FX for the later.

Purple and dpike, thank you for your answers concerning the alcohol thing. It's funny that I know it's not dangerous to drink alcohol in the 2ww but I was still very concerned as it wasn't just two or three drinks:worry:
If I collect fmu in a container, should I put it in the fridge? And how long does it remain usable?
Just leave it in your bathroom 2xblue dont put it in fridge :)

Woohoo Farmgirl!!! Congrats! You know we're all addicts and have to see a picture of the test, right? :bigsmile: Don't worry about the digital being neg they're not very sensitive.
I've collected FMU in a cup and left it for a few hours for doctors appointments before. They always say 12 hours or so is just fine, leave it at room temp and make sure it's a clean container.

Hcg has a half-life of about 24 hours so leaving it out for a few hours is totally fine. :)
