I'm 5dpo today and getting some cramps... of course I'm jumping to conclusions about implementation cramps as it is similar to them in the past. Probably not though... I won't get my hopes up.
I'm symptom spotting too. Think I'm 5dpo & drinking my coffee & getting a funny feeling, almost queasy like & like I need to burp. I am still able to drink it & really want it, but it's the same feeling I got last cycle when I had my cp. Telling myself it's all in my head as I was looking at my chart from last cycle & the queasiness started around 6dpo. Also my cm has been sticky which is normal but it feels like there is more & it is a wetter feeling when normally I am dry. Fx that we all get our bfp's this month.

So, I am 4 DPO and I swear this TWW is CRAWLING. Crawling so slow it makes my previous TWWs seem like they were 1 day long. It seems like O was AT LEAST a week ago but 7 dpo feels like an eternity away. For some reason I'm not too hopeful. I don't know why... we got PLENTY of attempts in, but I just don't feel like this is going to be a BFP cycle for us. A valentines baby is not an awful prospect but I just want to be done TTC :/ But we wait.... Hope everyone else's TWWs are flying by for you.
My Tww is going slow too. I dont feel confident either even tho we dtd for 7 days in a row
Ugh! It sucks, right? For me it's like... the small amount of hope makes trudging through the TWW worth it but with out it is like "What is the point of this?". I could be 100% wrong and get a BFP this cycle but I'm just not feeling much hope at this point :/Quote:

CD18 and got a pos. OPK! I never get positives this early! Only problem is we DTD two days ago and I typically O one to two days after pos. OPK so I'm worried it'll be either an O-3 attempt or O day which aren't the best odds. :worry:Attachment 29513

Well, I finally got a high reading on my CBAD on the older reader. I'm glad I switched back. Thank you maiden!! :) I'm definitely not going to get my peak by tomorrow though. I normally have at least 5 days of high before my peak. So, hopefully I'll be able to go in for an ultrasound tomorrow and get a trigger shot!! :fx: I've had lots of cramping on both sides, so I know something is happening in there.

Am excited lots of bding action, hope that results in lots of bfp, I conceived my dd on the 26 th of January and October was a lovely month to have a baby, it meant she was 8 weeks by Christmas so over that hectic newborn stage, lots of baby dust to you all, I have started the diet and exercise ahead of my attempt in March, but dh has put a real spanner in the works, he is not keen. He says he is concerned how I will react if I get a boy when I have put so much effort into getting a girl, I have tried explaining that I wanted another dd when I was pregnant with ds 2 and could not love him more, he also thinks at 35 nearly 36 the risk of having a child with something wrong with it is higher, so why risk it when we are blessed with three healthy children, he also has said that my dd is privileged in our family as she is the girl and she will lose that position if we have another girl, also with 6 years apart, maybe too much of an age gap to be close, am confused 😕 he says my other three will suffer with my attention been divided between four. Any advice? X
Girlie I don't have much advice to give since I don't have a DD and my boys are quite close in age but my nieces are nearly 5 years apart in age. I remember my BIL was hoping for a boy partly because he was worried about my niece no longer being the only princess in the house. She gets along great though with her little sister and is of great help. I think as they get older, they'll be best friends despite the age difference. I do think the transition was tougher for my niece than it was for my DS1 when DS2 was born since my boys are less than 2 years apart. It takes time for all kids though to adjust to a new addition to the family.

I was going to try every 4 days this cycle, starting in day 8 (which was Saturday) but I got sick and it was the last thing I wanted to do! Now on heavy duty antibiotics for 10 days, does anyone know if up this would affect conceiving/if it's dangerous?! Feeling much better so might start day 12 (normally get positive opk day 16) - so days 12,16 & 20, which would still be one attempt in fertile window. Anyone got any advice?
I think atomic says that if you need the antibiotics, then they take precedence. But I don't think they effect your odds of conception.

Quick question. I got pos opks Saturday and Sunday. And then a negative opk today. We attempted Saturday and Sunday. Should we attempt today? Or should we stop attempt till my fertile window has passed now?

Yup Nann I'd do one more too. I had never really kept testing once I got my 1st +opk but I did a couple of cycles & found the day I got a - opk seemed to be the day I o'd.
Girlie - part of the reason why we have only recently been ttc & I've been off the pill for over a year is because my dh kept changing his mind. He did & then he thought of finances & car arrangements & how much it ties me down etc & so he would say no I'm happy with our 3 healthy girls. I told him how I felt & that I had a deep yearning for another baby etc.
Purple - yup I'm the same, had my test date as today, but o was later than I expected.

Definately dtd again nann. You may have caught the tail end of surge hence the neg opk bit could still be o anytime now if you havent already. Dtd again wont hurt just gives you an extra attempt and covers all bases :)

Momamia, glad you switched back! I would assume you'd have a normal amount of High days on Clomid, like 3-4. I would not be surprised if you got a Peak in a day or two.

Ttc2015, I wouldn't worry about the ABs, I actually think they might sway pink and illness definitely does. As has been said, I would just be aware that O might be delayed.
As for me...I have been exhausted and getting hot flashes again, plus I've had constant mild O pain for a week now. For several days on my left side too which is exciting, that's my lazy ovary (I basically never O from the left, and my right ovary may be damaged from my ectopic). I was wanting to BD every 4 days starting very early but the extreme fatigue has been crippling. I am already fatigued due to my pain and my pain meds so I'm just not functional. My pain meds also mess with my temperature regulation (which has always been crap anyway) and exacerbates my hot flashes. So now I'm just hoping for one attempt at positive OPK but I'm afraid my O pain and/or fatigue will inhibit that....I guess we'll see.
Really sick of being tired! It seems all hormones/hormonal drugs make me tired...though Clomid is way worse than Gonal-F.

ksmom, I think E3D is pretty pink so if you BD one day sooner for better timing I think you will still have a good shot at pink. I hope that early O means a nice high quality egg! Most of my pregnancies are from earlier than usual O. (for me, a late Oer generally).

I'm pretty sure I'm ovulating today since I've had my usual O pains this morning. It's late afternoon here and the pains have gone away now. If we BD tonight and I am O'ing today then that will be an O-3 and O day attempt which I think is still better than say an O-1 and O-2 together. This cycle has been so different with only 1 day of pos OPK when I usually have 2-3 and I've had much less EWCM than normal.
Hi ladies, I'm coming over to wait out the next two-ish weeks! I'm currently cd 16, and dh and I will continue to bd every 3 days until next cycle/bfp. My fingers are crossed that there will be lots of BFP's in-between now and then!
Maidenmother remind me, is this your first clomid cycle? What cd are you now? I hear you on the fatigue, I feel like I can't go without a midafternoon nap on clomid!

So with FRER it says it can detect pregnancy 6 days before missed period. Well, my period is due in 5 days BUT I am 5 dpo today... so testing tomorrow at 6 dpo would be dumb, right? Even though I'm 4 days away from AF? I have a short LP.
I think that really must be based on the 'standard' 14 day LP so I wouldn't test that early as implantation wouldn't have even happened yet!Quote:
