Such a shame mummy, Im sorry

Hi ladies. I took a break for a couple of weeks and it looks like I’m gearing up to ovulate soon. I wanted to catch up with the thread and WOW that was a roller coaster. I felt ALL of the emotions and I completely agree with PBN’s anger! (I did giggle out loud when I read that one response)
Ladies, I am just sick over the confusion you felt this month. I hate every bit of it. Mummy, this is exactly what happened to me a few months ago. Positive tests only to go stark white again. It was maddening. I’m so sorry! Emshe, I was really cheering for you this month. So sorry that it didn’t progress!
So this is it. I’m 99% sure my husband is done after this month. I’m doing everything I can do, without obsessing and over analyzing. We are currently on the SMEP and just waiting for that pos OPK. I’m trying to relax and allow my body to do what it needs to do. So much easier said than done! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...cd4b4ed73d.jpg

Welcome back hannah!! How exciting your so close to the 2ww. I love your plan for relaxing (trying to) and smep. I will have everything crossed that this is your bfp coming [emoji173]

Weird my reply to hannah has gone for moderation!? I didnt swear I promise (at least I cant remember swearing but the memory isnt what it used to be ;) ) Hannah - thank you and if it doesnt go through, I am cheering you on and hoping beyond hope that this final shot is the BFP you've dreamed of...
Ladies talk me through SMEP!?
Plan of attack after advice from atomic is to start taking clomid on CD5 if pregnancy test is negative, which I am pretty certain it will be. I have been bleeding from Friday which was medium flow, yesterday super heavy and today seems to be slowing a bit. I am normally M, HH, HH, M or L, L. So I think it is a real AF period. Starting clomid later should give my time to start producing estrogen more before blocking it.
So then I was think E4D 72 hour version from day 6. 6,9,12,15,18. Is that a good plan? So do I not need to use opk, or do you still do it just to get clarification on potential ovulation day?
And pbn I dont think I thanked you for your support and understanding. It means so much, especially when in reality you have basically no one around you knows about the rollercoaster you're on and have been on for years and the heartache you've felt silently. Thankyou!
Emshe thank you and its my pleasure. I love still hanging around in these 2ww threads like a bad smell [emoji6] as I remember how good it felt to have a support network when ttc, having losses etc. I did have a tough time, but I'm happy to say it's now in the past and while it may flare up here and there, it no longer has any control of my life. Time truly does heal, some things just heal quicker than others.
So onto SMEP. It was designed for older couples (35+) and is also recommended if you've experienced a loss/es. It involves bding eod (every 48 hours) from cd8 through to pos opk. Bd three days in a row starting at pos opk, skip a day and bd the next. It's ideal if you have an average cycle. For those who have longer cycles you may want to start eod a bit more into your cycle or change it to every 72 hours. As an example, if you do the traditional smep and got a pos opk on cd14 your bding would involve this. Bd on cd8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18.
If you do e4d (72 hour version) then you absolutely don't have to use opks. Yes it may help in determining o day if there's no clear sustained shift but at the end of the day you are guaranteed an attempt that is considered viable so it really just depends on you. The problem with using them doing e4d is getting a pos opk on a non scheduled bd day as it can mess with your head whether to add in an attempt or not which then can add stress about what it would do sway wise.

Hey mummy hope you are ok, any sign of AF yet? Emshe I'm sorrry it's not your month hope smep might work for you! How exciting Hannah that's your 2ww is so soon! Good luck & fx for you!
I'm ok thank you the spotting seems to have stopped so that's good and my husband wants to do a digital test today. My boobs are so sore and I'm really tired other than that I'm good thank you, just very busy working! It all sounds good symptoms but I'm still being very cautious.
Ooh that’s sounding promising, I hope it is a bfp

Wow! That’s full on. Especially if you go with the trying not to have a big O thing. [emoji24]
I think e4d 72 hour is more for me, otherwise I think I’ll question myself over the 1 attempt. What’s the likelihood that my ov day will change greatly with the altered Clomid days. Think it brought it forward 1 day cycle just gone. What would you knowledgeable ladies do?
I do exercise, Clomid, metformin, fertility diet,
Hubby does OLE and regular release.
Shall quiz atomic too!
Can you have the big O in early days of e4d?
https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/35220b
Yes absolutely can have the big o. I don't think its considered much of a sway tactic (not having it) anymore... I think e4d is a really good pattern for pink. It's pretty much only ever one attempt and it's not overdoing the bding.

Verena that pattern of little variance in your chart is a very promising sign [emoji8] I am watching with much interest [emoji102] When are you testing? How does 10dpo sound? [emoji14]
Edited to add: just realised it's your first femara cycle? Not sure how that affects your temps and also your pre o temps were very steady too [emoji848] Still very hopeful for you though! Just not as confident as first post...

Lol pbn, I hope it's a good sign anyway [emoji4] yes it was my first femara cycle and normally I have quite big variances in my temperatures, so maybe that's really the femara!?
I started testing yesterday [emoji85][emoji23] So far - surprise - bfn [emoji6] really hoping to see something tomorrow, I had a bfp on 8 dpo with DS2. I try to remember that I could be only 7 dpo tomorrow as well though.

Emshe I'm so sorry AF came! I hope it was just a fluke and next cycle will have a normal lp (and will be successful 🤞🏻[emoji6])!
Hannah everything crossed for you for this cycle!
Mummy I'm so sorry it turned out to be a chemical [emoji17] I had exactly the same last month and I started bleeding the day my hpt turned negative. So I hope it at least goes quick for you as well. [emoji173]️
ABC how are you? Will you get some of the test results next week already?

emshe sounds like a good plan for your BD attempts this month!
Hannah - FX for you!!
mummy - how are you feeling?
Verena - Ahhh yay you're in testing time!! Still plenty of time for those tests to turn positive :) I'm ok - thank you. The last few days have been tough - I've been pretty down again. Some days are good and some are not. Had a bad cheat day yesterday with LE & had way too much to drink last night. Oh well - it's a new day. I probably will be getting my test results sometime this week - which is contributing I think to my stressed/sad mood, as I'm worried about that. My m/c bleeding has stopped again though so I'm hoping it's really over now and that at least things with my cycle will get back to normal soon.
Verena sending you best of luck for a bfp 🤞🏻
ABC & Pbn I think E4d will be good thank you!
ABC hang in there, the wait is always hard, & remember alcohol sways pink 🤪

Thank you ladies! I am so hopeful for this round. Of course I can’t find my stash of OPKs!!! Arg. I may grab a few at the $1 store tomorrow and at least test through my normal ovulation. Of course that would happen on our last time trying.

Had my HCG retested today and it's down to 25 (it was 146 last Monday). So, it's almost gone, thankfully.
Pbn - I'm still getting dark positive Wondfo OPKs... Do you think that's still b/c of the HCG?
Yes it would be Abc. Not long now though [emoji173]

Start clomid again tonight, CD5.
We got a little eager and started BD last night. Thought getting some fun stuff in now might help make it easier around business time ;) So now E4D will be 4,7,10,13,16,19 etc... Gosh I hope my luteal phase sorts itself out this cycle.
Hope everyone has or had a great day!
No I haven't talked to my RE since the appt last week. Still haven't heard any of the results from the blood tests she ordered. I found out she tested me for 9 different things (blood clotting disorders, genetic defects, chromosome issues). I will ask her about the metformin, as well as CO-Q10. Have you been told anything about CO-Q10 for egg quality?
Abc I took coq10 for awhile but it's really expensive in the amounts/dose it needs to be taken to be effective and my ob was sceptical of it making any difference... apparently ubiquinol is best but I couldn't source it as its own thing in Australia when I looked into it...

Its good that they are being so thorough. I really hope they manage to get you sorted, you so deserve a happy sticky BFP. Yes HRC also has their patients take coQ10 about 600-800 from memory but Id ask specifics on dosage as Im a little vague, like Pbn said ubiquinol is best. Very expensive but more easily absorbed by the body. Hubby took a much smaller dose during HT too, I think I gave him 250 a day.
Thanks Pbn and emshe. I took 100 mg of coq10 (ubiquinol) per day between my 2nd m/c and 3rd BFP (so for about 5 weeks). When things looked good at the beginning of the last pregnancy I wondered if the coq10 had helped. Probably didn't, and as we know, things turned out bad anyways. I also don't know if it's a good idea for me as atomic thinks it may make the blood a little more "clotty", and since it seems that the issue that the docs most suspect is going on with me is something related to blood clotting, it may not be a good idea. I don't know - just something to ask the doc about. Meant to do it last week at my appt but I forgot.
Abc I wouldn't think 100mg would have made much difference as the recommended dose for improving egg quality (supposedly) is a minimum of 450mg I thought. Like emshe said I think 600mg is the standard base recommendation. You need to find a high dose one, that carries at least 150mg per pill. Just means taking 3-4 a day if you cant get one higher than that.....

ABC I'm sorry you're having such a hard time. I think it's normal and healthy to take your time to grieve so that truely happy days can come soon again [emoji173]️ glad to hear your beta is going down on its own. Hoping for some clear test results for you this week and something easy to solve.
Good luck emshe for this cycle! When did you o last cycle?
I'm 9 dpo and my tests are driving me crazy. I'm not sure if I see something as long as they are still wet. When they get dry I don't see anything anymore. Never had that before... I guess I just have to wait for the line (if there is one) to get darker to be sure. I wish time would move a little faster the next two or three days...

Verena - remind me, what kind of tests are you using? Hopefully tomorrow will be your BFP! (You'll be 10 dpo yea?)
Noemi - looks like you are 5 dpo! Just a few more days until testing!
Parying4agirl - how many DPO are you?
Pbn - Oh, so yea I guess my 100 mg of coq10 wouldn't have been doing much then :) I will try to ask the doc about it. If it's going to help I'll take it - it's pretty widely available here in the US even in the ubiquinol form. But like you said it may not even help much, I don't think atomic thinks it does that much either.
Noemi that’s why I love e4d you’re pretty much always covered! Good luck! :)
ABC got my positive opk last tues so does that make me 7dpo?
Yess i did e4d this month:):)
No i cant chart - up 100 times with my 2 boys throughout the night
