I am thinking my real gaining is yet to come (I always gain most of my weight during the 3rd tri). I am nervous to see how much I will gain by the time it's all over because it's always extremely difficult for me to lose preg weight. My weight gain thus far has had no pattern. One week I'll gain 2 pounds, nothings the next, lose a pound the next, a few ounces the next. I think my hope of staying at or below starting weight is out the window though. I will be 26 weeks tomorrow and will deliver at the end of week 38 so I have just over 12 weeks until she is here. If I only gain a pound a week (which is like dreamland thinking) I'll gain 12 pounds putting me 5 pounds above starting weight... which isn't bad but I highly doubt that will be the case. Guess time will tell.
🙏 for a healthy 🌈 🚼 We're having a girl! 🎀👗

I'm up 40 lb, but it fluctuates a lot. I think part of that is fluid retention issues.

Yes I'm still working out but not much. I don't know why I didn't gain the 1 st 4 weeks btwn dr apts but I know why I didn't gain the btwn the 3 weeks after that-stomach bug. Pretty sure my appetite is back and will be gaining again.
I too don't have room to eat too much at a meal. Trying to eat smaller meals these days.
Bunnygirl- sounds like those babies are coming soon. Their sonogram pics are adorable! A friend of mine just had her twins at 31 weeks and they are in the hospital for a month but doing good. Baby b wasn't getting good blood flow so they took them out. You won't have those problems thankfully. 40 pounds sounds good for twins-they'll work that right off you too!

At least I'm not huge from behind. DH says I don't even look pregnant from the rear. LOL

You look fab BG. Good luck with everything. Doesn't sound like it will be very far away now.
I've been on a major organizing/nesting bender. I've organized every single item of children's clothing we own from 7-0000 in boys, girls and into gender neutral piles. I just had to get it all done. Feels good too! I also organized my MCN's and my change table since we are still using that. I haven't washed the gender neutral newborn stuff yet, but it is ready for me to do one week when I am ready. I have heaps of time left given I am only 25 weeks, but I feel better for having a big job out of the way, and now I can do the little fun stuff and get myself a pamper pack made for after the birth.

Well, I'm admitted now, 2.5 cm dilated and getting magnesium to slow labor so I can get in the two doses of steroid shots. I'm so miserable!! I'm hooked to so many lines and monitors I can't really move much at all. :(
