Ash-you know I'm finding out!! I'll do the materniT21 at 10 weeks which will be July 17th, hopefully can get an appt that day! Then however long it takes to hear back eeek! Can't wait for you to find out!!!
So just realized that my 1st appt is actually going to be earlier at 8:30 AM on June 30th!! My OB is at the University hospital where my dad works, so there are several different offices my OB goes to. I'm going to a diff location for my 1st appt & apparently they only do formal U/S there and not bedside ones...so excited!!! [emoji322]
Also-thinking about posting my sway! I've been hesitant b/c then I might overanalyze every little detail. But...what is done is done lol.

Finally remembered to call the ob back for an appointment for the nuchal shooting for July 7th and they now have a new office much closer to me and right next to target (score) so hopefully they're nicer and will look for a nub! I'd be 12w 4d

Srg-I'm sorry :( How certain was the tech at 12 weeks (right)? Funny how badly we want to be in each other's shoes. I have been "window-shopping" online for girlie clothes & decor. I will be so disappointed if I don't get the experience of having my own daughter!

I know several mommas IRL who cried their eyes out when they heard they were having another girl, but now they say that they wouldn't have it any other way. They have their own little girl posse & have fun girls nights all the time ��

Just scheduled my Panorama blood test for next Tuesday 6/20 but they said it can take 2 weeks or sometimes longer to get the results. Then another OB and u/s appointment on 6/27 which will put me at 10.5 - 11 weeks. I was surprised that they wanted another u/s but I'll take it.

I'll know more about timing after my appointment on the 28th. I thought I could get the blood test thing for free because I'm 35, but I've never talked to my DR about it so really just guessing. I will only get if free, because as y'all know, I'm frugal [emoji12] I begged DH this am for us not to find out but he wouldn't agree so y'all are in luck [emoji23] SO worst case I'll find out via ultrasound the last week in September I'm thinking!!

On another note, be super sweet to the tech at the nuchal and don't ask until she's had time to do her part first. It makes them think people care more about gender than health and pisses them off so I was told last time [emoji85]

Srg I'm sorry you didn't hear boy :( but I wouldn't be 100% sure until your 20w scan. The nub theory is very accurate but I have seen it wrong a few times on this site so I would wait until a potty shot further along. Assume its a girl but don't paint the nursery just yet. Cant wait to see a pic of your bub ❤ Did you post a sway after your bfp?
Kat I worked with a lady whose husband found out gender but she didn't. Maybe something to consider? I've offered my dh the same but he is happy to wait (at this stage lol)
So ladies who will be posting their sway soon? I'm going to post a 'non sway' after tomorrows scan as I had quite a few unintentional pink friendly things going on when I conceived.

Here's the nub pic the tech gave me, but we looked at another one that was even longer and flatter. I'm pretty heartbroken to be honest, and DH just keeps telling me that he told me from the beginning he didn't want to have another if I was going to get upset with a fourth girl. I feel a little better than after my last failed away, but it still hurts.

Srg - I know nothing about nubs but I definitely wouldn't get your hopes up going off a nub. Last pregnancy the tech showed me the girl parts (3 lines) at 12 ish weeks so it was evident. Sounds like you are still in the running for [emoji170]

As i said i wont be finding out (at least that's my plan for now). Dh i am sure will want to know and he might as well. I won't get a nub shot/12 week scan as i didn't last year so there wont be any guessing at that either.

Thanks, ladies. No elective for me, so I'll wait for confirmation at 20 weeks. The nub was pretty clear, and the tech at this place was right with my last baby.
We're headed to Florida and Disney tomorrow for the next week, so hopefully that will be a good distraction for me. We went two years ago when I was 22 weeks pregnant with DD3, and I was sad about her gender then too. I was hoping to be buying a boy gift for this babe, but as my middle daughter said, "We're a girl family."

Kat-I have been feeling extra crazy today for some reason. I have all of these thoughts going through my head...scared I won't hear girl, then I feel guilty for not focusing on health...then switch back to thinking how disappointed I'll be if I don't get to experience a DD, then back to thinking health...then think about how I feel like no one will be excited if it's another boy ugh. I need to know gender now so that I can quit playing these scenario in my head and focus on the baby! Btw, Trey-cute nickname! :)

I have a silly question & wanted to hear thoughts. My family has invited me out on the boat this weekend & no one knows I'm preggo. It's a small motorboat...would it even be safe to go bouncing around through the waterways? It wouldn't be the deep ocean, but could get choppy. I'm thinking of declining anyway as I have to pee every 5 minutes & wondering if it would make me seasick. No major nausea yet, slightly queasy at times, but certainly don't want to trigger anything!
Lola I absolutely couldn't do it because of the peeing frequency either 😂 probably best to give it a miss if there's a chance of choppy water. That's alot of hard bum banging if there's no cushioned seats or even if there is 😜

Srg, do you have anymore side profile pics? This pic has the nub angled upward. It's not just being long and flat- it's also being parallel to the spine that means girl. My DS2 had a long and flat nub but was angled upward 30 degrees like the pic you posted. I don't want to give you false hope here, but if all other views showed a nub like this, I would suspend all judgement until 20weeks. Prepare to hear girl, but I'm not entirely sold on it either.
