Reglan was prescribed to me with DS2 and it worked pretty well. This time it hasn’t so I stopped taking it. The only option left to me to try is Protonix, but since I’m close to delivering anyway and it takes awhile to build effect, I haven’t bothered. My heartburn/reflux burns up into my ears and they are constantly throbbing and aching. It sucks.
Ugh! I have had congestion and sinus pain the last couple days with a sore throat, runny nose, etc. I thought it was my allergies turned into a sinus sort of thing. But now my mom is getting the same symptoms, and Chloe has been congested all day, and now DH said she had a runny nose he cleaned up! Please pray she and Clarissa are t getting a cold! They’re too little!

Dreaming I was prescribed Omeprazole. I only took one or two and they helped. I'm supposed to take them every day but I don't like taking meds when pregnant.

I had a growth scan today (33 weeks) baby is approx 5lbs 4!!
Thank you Mommy2apples, so far we’re ok. Chloe seemed a little congested but other than that the girls both seem fine, thank God! I feel much better today too, so I think I’m over the hump and maybe they won’t get it.

I’m kind of feeling discouraged right now. I’m soooo tired of this non stop triple feeding of twins and my toddler demanding to nurse every time he sees them eat. It’s like I’m feeding off an attack he’s so aggressive about demanding it. And my nipples are sooooo sore! I have a blister on my nipple that’s so painful and o can’t tell if it’s from the girls, pierce or the pump! I feel so fat, and isolated and hardly bother showering or brushing my teeth lately as it’s something I can shave off my busy to do list. I feel like 24 hours all I do is breastfeed. My home is an obstacle course, and my feet feel gross. Anyone related? I don’t remember it being nearly this hard with my older ones ever!
Oh Ellirosanne, so many hugs to you. I couldn’t even imagine feeding twins and a toddle, can the obgyn or your husband prescribe you anything for your nipples? Emmalyn had a blister on my left one where she kept patching wrong, and I got those gel soothing pads by lansinoh and they helped along with their nipple cream.Quote:

Mommy2apples, thank you for not judging my negativity, :). I actually did order some gel pads that should arrive tomorrow. I’m trying to “let it go” a little and not stress over how messy our home is and how completely chaotic our life is right now. To focus on getting through one day at a time. I feel like I’m still trying to figure out a game plan to ride this bull, so I’m trying to keep that in perspective.
Ellisoranne I've not commented to you before but want to say my hat is off to you for lasting this long feeding twins and a toddler!! What an AMAZING feat!!! You should feel so proud of yourself right now!! Would introducing a couple bottle feeds (formula) a day give you a decent break? You need to work out what is best for you because ultimately that will be best for everyone [emoji173] Again, I'm amazed you've stuck it out at long as you have! So much respect and agree with mommy2apples that lanisoh should help with the blister. Other than that maybe nipple shield? until it's healed?Quote:

Ellirosane, I can’t imagine how you’re doing it all! And truly, don’t feel bad if nursing twins is just too much. I formula feed from birth because I simply don’t want to nurse. My kids are healthy and happy, and my husband loves being able to take part in feeding. I’m not trying to sway you either way, just want to offer some positive words if you do want to give your babies a few bottles so you can have a break.
Ellirosanne you're a super star! Have u tried "multimam compress" ? They come in a box, cut 1 in half. Keep them in the fridge. They're magic !
Bbb the consultant prescribed those tabs and this week upped it to 40mg. Only.started them yesterday so fingers crossed they'll work!

Pbn3, oh goodness, thank you! We’re trying to relax a little and accept the idea that occasionally giving formula will be ok for our sanities sake :). Today I am trying pumping and then feeding them when I pump directly so that it doesn’t have to be warmed and skipping the attempt to breast-feed them and just exclusively pump instead. I feel like I go to bed each night exhausted and defeated, and then wake up with renewed hope LOL. Eventually will figure out what works for us.

Ellirosanne. Below are the compresses. They're expensive but cut each one in half. Whatever is in them heals the nipple and gives such relief and baby can feed straight after (u don't have to wash nipple after using) same goes the the lanolin cream and this bottle will last you aaaaages. It's magic stuff. I used to put it on after feeding and it cooled and healed nipple. Again baby can feed even with this on. I used the lanolin much more than the compresses. I’m 36.3 today and sooo uncomfortable. And so tired. I’m so happy though, my doctor agreed to a 39 week induction if baby doesn’t come before that. So at least I have an end date in sight- August 1. I will be perfectly happy going anytime after 37 weeks though, I’ve reached that ‘I’m done’ point.

Ended up in hosp on monday eve with contractions. Was brought straight to delivery room. I completely panicked was was only 35+6!! Luckily it all calmed down and contractions stopped. But hosp have advised I can go at any time eek!

Mommy2apples, it really didn’t change much as I’m exclusively pumping for the girls now and adding fortifier to the pumped milk, but now we only have to fortify 2-3 feedings per day :)
