Please discuss ALL the options with your doctor. Do not make a termination decision without an MRI of the babies brain. I have known someone that went through this and was on the border line at 12mm (not every doc uses 10 some use 12). When you get fluid on the brain like that there is usually some other anomaly like a heart issue etc because the fluid circulates through the heart and spine. Induction at the right time and surgery for a shunt can also be a decision you may be willing to make as well. Weigh ALL the options don't take a high measurement and make a snap fear decision. My friend almost did until she got a second opinion and they did an MRI which her original NEVER offered and should have. Induction was done a few weeks early and a shunt was placed. Child is now fine and like it never happend. But they only need to talk surgery if it rises to 15. If there are no other anomaly the chances can be better. Did you have trisomy screening? Usually they go hand in hand but not always but one of the biggest factors is chromosomes in relation to fluid on the brain.
