I think it is amazing how quickly one can go from "holy crap I am pregnant" to now truly hoping this baby makes it, wanting another girl, thinking about how great it is going to be to have a sibling so close in age to my DD, there won't be a "middle child", thinking how great it will be to hold another baby, thinking how I really will be crushed if this baby doesn't make it to term. Crazy how quickly your mind can change. Hope DH feels the same way:worry:

Hi Ladies,
Looks like I will be joining you here on the journey of happy healthy babies! I just got my BFP yesterday after ttc for 4 month but NTNP for a few months before that. So happy to finally see those 2 lines!
I avoided any of the threads this last cycle as I found I was obsessing too much over all my sway tactics and decided to just relax and let it happen when it's supposed to happen and it worked!
I have 3 boys 12,7 and 18months and swayed for pink this time
-
wantingpink - you are so right! It is like a mental switch from freak out and shock to hoping and excitement. When will you tell your DH?
Welcome Tomgirl! When are you due?

Hi ladies, please may I join you as well? I swayed pink and am due around 17th sept. I haven't had my 12 week us yet though so hoping I'm not jumping the gun by joining here (really hope everything is ok in there!!)... I already have a nearly 2 year old beautiful boy :) I look forward to speaking with you all more and sharing our journeys together, wherever they lead us xx

Welcome kittybear! Are you going to try to get a nub shot?
-
Tbh I'm terrified of the nub shot and wish I still had the blissful ignorance when I was pg with my son ;) I'll be over 13 weeks so a sticky up willy nub should be fairly obvious by then... Please GD keep away... I can feel it stalking me :( xx

Congrats Tomgirl and Kittybear... I hope you both get the DD you want!!
DH is out of town right now so it is easy not to say anything or bring it up. My DH is very weird when it comes to finding out about being PG. He thinks that I should only take a PG test after I tell him I might be PG?? Normally I don't cater to this kind of ridiculousness but I really don't need the added stress of him being mad at me about anything pregnancy related. I surprised him with DS2 with a positive PG test and it didn't go well at all. So with my DD I let it be his idea for me to test. Not sure how I am going to get it to be his idea this time seeing as how I haven't had a period in 15 months?? Maybe I will start complaining about how things taste or how bad something smells or how food isn't sitting well with me or how I have a headache (I never get headaches unless I am PG). The whole thing is stupid but there is going to be enough stress on him with the + PT that I don't want to rock the boat anymore.

Start texting him now then!! Hope he clicks quickly and its not a long drawn out dilemma xx

Have any of you second time mums found that you started showing or at least we're really bloated in the tummy from 6 weeks on? I thought it was my imagination but both my sister and husband told me to stop sticking my stomach out, and I told them I wasn't. Does the tummy swell up a lot quicker second time around?
